Really, when he said support the laws on the books, Cruz should of ask, so you are in support of not regulations on weapons. That is clearly what the 2nd Amendment states, and that is the supreme law of the land.
But then again, I am expecting a man to fulfill his oath, but a a majority men today do not keep their word. But then what man would hold office more than one term.

For the Feral ‘government’ to Stake its Claim to Power by “Banning Guns” as (((they))) really Want to, it will be Impossible for even Passive Non-Compliance to be ignored. To Do So would be the final De-Legitimizing of ‘government’ in its entirety.
So, in order to “double-down on stupid” (something commies are Excellent at doing) they MUST ‘Go Kinetic’ and start the Gun Raids and Checkpoints…

As most republicans in the senate are RINO globalists they most likely will betray supporters of the constitution. I would expect Texas Senator John Cornyn who is a stealth RINO to betray Texas gun owners and vote for Chipman’s confirmation.
One thing about the democrat communists they never betray their base, however, republicans, can always be counted on to cave-in and betray their base because they want to be liked by the democrats.
If republicans would stop betraying their base, and actively work together to bring about small constitutional government, protect property rights, ensure free markets, and remove all corporate, defense department, and pharmaceutical welfare and completly repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act, Pharmaceutical Protection Act, and all firearm control acts they would win every election (assuming the votes were counted correctly).
Unfortunately, most republicans are big government international globalist. Republicans are currently playing the role of controlled opposition -- so eventually they will end up like the Whig Part.
Currently, Christian conservatives have no party that represents them that I am aware of.
