Iam not familiar with the lingo copperhead, what does it represent. I also fly The Dixie battle flag outside my home, and I dare any one to tell me remove it. I am more southern then some of the Southerners I see. It seems like they have there heads between there legs and in fear for some strange reason. I just don,t get it, they wont even stand up for there own heritage, what causes them to act like this.

“The Copperheads were a vocal faction of Democrats located in the Northern United States of the Union who opposed the American Civil War, wanting an immediate peace settlement with the Confederates. Republicans started calling antiwar Democrats “Copperheads”, likening them to the venomous snake. The Democrats accepted the label, reinterpreting the copper “head” as the likeness of Liberty, which they cut from Indian Head cents and proudly wore as badges.”

In other words…a badge of honor in my book.

in the end the cause for Southern independence was the same as that upon which independence from the King was sought. Either one recognizes that fact and identifies with people who seek to have representative form of government or they side with tyranny. So in my opinion anyone who recognizes and accepts God given natural rights and therefore the necessity of representative government which stems from it, is a Southerner at heart if not by birth.

By the way, thank you for keeping the heritage of liberty alive.

Thanks for the information, I always knew Lincoln was a dirt bag even when i was young man and began reading about the civil war. The south had received a major shafting from the North all due to taxation and not about slavery. its a pity they dont want to teach the youth of our nation the truth of what really happened.
God Bless.

Having lost a great-great grandfather during the siege of Wilmington at Fort Fisher I am inclined to remain true to his legacy and honor the call though I’m not sure that the next time it will all fall out along northern and southern boundaries……

Quite agree. Such is the aftermath of forced invasion, colonization, and the relentless propaganda being shoved down our throats as well as the throats of our children. A standing testament to the rightness of the cause for which our fathers fought as well as our rightness in continuing to honor and fight for it.

May God bless our efforts for they are most certainly dedicated to Him.
