Dear @glennbeck,
— Matt Van Swol (@matt_vanswol) July 28, 2025
You don't know me, and we have never met… but you've changed my life.
I want to tell you that story.
On Friday, September 27th 2024, my whole world turned upside down.
Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina like a ball of fury… the first few weeks…

Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Finaly some good news.
Breaking through the echo chamber, tearing down (mental) walls, is the only we get through this with any semblance of peacefulness.
IFCJ is strong here
Government is the enemy of everyone. That is why they spend all their time dividing us…so we won’t unite against our common enemy.
Please moderate this statement and I’m sure you will. I detest Glenn Beck because he’s very womanly and cries openly over anything. I remember very clearly him rolling his face in a bowl of crushed up Cheetos because he was all veclempted with the fact that Trump might win the White House.
He’s a very emotional person who I would not hold up as an example. Yes what he did was admirable, but that is not the standard we should be bearing fourth.
I’m done with people who do not have the gift of discernment?
Womanly? I see this type of behavior as infantile. It’s an intentional act, of course. It may reflect the man’s real personality to some extent but he deliberately plays up to “attention-deficient” little boys in the audience. It puts women off, too.
I don’t blame Beck for choosing a certain performance style that his metrics probably convinced him worked with his target audience. I just happen not to be in his target audience.
I’ve learned that reading his books, which are produced by a team and may or may not contain the “ADD moments” shtick, is a much more enjoyable experience than watching his show.
So we should shoot the messenger. Isn’t that what the other side wants? Are we not intelligent enough to discern the truth?
