What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

President Trump’s new private health tracking system will be a public/private partnership between the government and… you guessed it… Big Tech.

Not only no, but hell no. Whatever you do, DO NOT CHECK THE BOX.

Here’s the understatement of the year from Steve Bannon…

I ask you this. Do you really think all of that massive AI computing power they suddenly need is for you to ask ChatGPT, or Grok, about your latest project? You can download a Large Language Model and an interface for it like LM STUDIO and do the same thing on your laptop OFFLINE.

One article indicated that a new “AI data center” going up in Cheyenne, Wyoming will use 5 TIMES the electricity that the entire state’s residents use every year. I submit to you that these data centers, incorporating AI, will be constantly analyzing and cataloging every moment and every aspect of your life. Where you go, how many miles you drive, what you watch, how often you open your refrigerator, who you talk to, the websites you visit, and now every last bit of data in your medical records.

At some point, the tides will turn and the demoncrats (and I did indeed spell it that way intentionally) will be back in power. Once that happens, all your data belongs to them, and THEY will be able to score people based upon their contribution to society versus the cost of their health care, and determine who lives and who dies.

“Pity the nation that needs heroes”. Great line. Hate to admit I saw it in a movie.

Any politician is compromised. They’re not perfect to begin, and they get elected by cutting deals, picking what to stand on and what to compromise on. Trump is good for the economy but not very good for civil liberties. They need that clunky old system of checks and balances. We The People need to opt out so resoundingly that this mess will implode, while leaning on Congress to criminalize any attempt to rebuild it.

Government needs to be removed 100% from EVERY ASPECT of medicine, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and every other CARTEL they protect in the destruction of our healthcare system. Partnership? FU

Won’t happen – too much money flows from those sectors into CONgress. The politicians are captured, will never happen in the current system.

Not saying it will. Just reminding everyone of what MUST HAPPEN if the medical system is to ever be restored and freedom returned to the patients.

It’s possible to turn public sentiment against the idea of “public-private partnerships” if enough people want to commit to do it. I’m in if people do.

Slippery slope? This is a virtual free fall at 90º.
Look at HiPAA violations alone: there are fines against physicians & nurses for these violations, yet which entity is the most blatant violator of healthcare privacy/HIPAA regulations?
The FedGov. And, do they fine themselves?
NO!

Already exist in many places, most medical facilities share your info. Only one that I see does not. A dangerous database is being kept on YOU! Control your healthcare and meds, control you! HIPAA, what HIPAA?

Those are some very nice power generation and transmission facilities up there in Wyoming that they’re building. Be a real shame if something happened to them…

Who am I kidding, really? As piss poor is IT security is anymore, all that will be needed is a virus to infiltrate the data center, and the show will be over.

Right? China would never try to do something like that!

The NSA already has all of our info and more. Since at least 2000. This may give more people access to our data. The NSA already has an algorithm for each and every one of us. I’m pretty sure the Chinese have already hacked the NSA some years back. We’re screwed.

I was listening to Maria Zeee’s show the other night interviewing Steve Quayle about how Trump keeps poking the bear. The conclusion being Trump wants the Russians to nuke our major cities so AI can have enough electricity to outpace the Chinese. We are being phased out and downsized.

BTW the Chinese are way ahead of us on AI development. They even put their AI data centers on the ocean floor to keep them secure and cool. They use the AI engines solve problems. The main problem being how do we rule the world? What do we do? We use it as a toy asking it silly questions only to find out the answers it provides are scripted and left leaning. Now Trump wants to use it to violate HIPAA to enslave or eliminate us.

In a way its kinda comical given the theory that AI is a way for inter dimensional beings from hell to enter our reality kill us all dead. Hollywood had Skynet, we have Starlink. When I was young I took a class on robotics. Back then I argued against developing the technology openly in class for the simple reason it displaces human workers. Now it seems to be the whole point.

AI is the tool they were lacking to implement full on totalitarian Big Brother (can’t hire that many humans to do the work). Thats why everything is accelerating right now. Everything they need is in place.

IMO: Anyone alive and computer savvy with internet access since 1995 has their information stored by TPTB. There is no hiding in the modern world. At least in western civilization. When, and if, used against one’s person; what can one do about it?

(1) Never tell a computer anything that you’d MIND seeing in the newspaper. (Things of low enough general interest that printing them would kill a newspaper, like poems and pet photos, yes.)
(2) Don’t use credit or insurance for anything. “Owe no man anything except to love one another.” Force companies to record you as one of many transactions identified only as “Cash Customer.”
(3) Prepare for the only weapon we have against weaponized AI–the Great Unplugging. Prepare to go off the grid altogether. Personally I’m less worried about defending my stash against needy neighbors than about avoiding contagion from dead ones.

I’ll repeat this in case anyone missed it. We live in a digital gulag. You can’t see the bars, but the bars can see you. That’s how it works.

WORD. And with this “new technology”, those of us who AI deems to be “useless eaters” will be put to sleep, like sick old dogs and cats. At age 77, I am reminded of the Dylan Thomas poem. I do not intend to: “…go gentle into that good night.”
