Are we worthy to stand on their shoulders? I do not think we are at this point. My father and uncles fought in WW2, I did not hear them whine or cry about their service, they believed it was their duty to God, family and country. Now everything has changed, we live in a dystopian nightmare, under tyrannical rule and the only law is what they say it is. Half of the country and people born here are classified as domestic terrorists. We cannot find the courage to take our country back, and it can only happen with force. I cannot describe how I feel about our situation, we know what needs to be done. May God have mercy on our souls, as we are in disobedience to God for our lack of courage.

Today, being in the service is not like it was in Vietnam, for instance. The political correctness is so intense it blocks out camaraderie to a large extent, when anything one says can be an issue, resulting in administrative discipline, loss of rank, or preventing one from moving up merely if someone feels something may have had a particular context, or bias. This can also be something overheard by a third party. It amounts to being micromanaged well beyond boot camp. If someone wants that kind of structure, it may work out well for them. Others risk losing or having diminished independent or critical thinking, by not being allowed to express it over a period of years. Soldiers obey, but that can be taken too far. Who benefits in the short and long-term, should be assessed. Also, the fact that there are so many homeless and disenfranchised veterans speaks volumes. That should not be allowed.

I am not able to stand on their shoulders, my generation, the boomers, by and large, are in a large part, responsible for this mess and now I am too old to do much to change it! I woke up fifty years ago, but none would listen then, now I am too old to be listened to!

We allowed “them” to take GOD our of the public life, out of our schools, out of our lifestyle, out of our wardrobe, out of HIS DESIGN. We allowed that to happen. And, when it looked like “so much fun” and “everyone else who is free is doing it”, we laid down our guidelines and joined the throng. Those who did stand, stood for as long as they were able. It is way passed time for us to get down on our knees, to humble our hearts, minds and souls before GOD ALMIGHTY and to beg HIS FORGIVENESS, get back into HIS WORD and to take up this cross and bear it until HE CALLS us HOME. If America can be saved at all, it will be by HIS GRACE AND MERCY alone. I wish HE WOULD save and restore us. Oh, Dear GOD, how I wish that for us and for the world. But, even more than my heart’s desire, I want HIS DESIRE, HIS WAY, HIS WILL. May GOD BLESS you and hold you close to HIM, esp. in these days. PSALM 91!

Also, instant hero status. You go to the mall in your Army fatigues and pretty teenage girls who never gave you the time of day in high school run up to you and say, “thank you for your service!”
You also get recognized at high school graduations. No one paid attention to you before because of your poor grades.
