What Will You Do When ISIS Comes to Your Door?

The following is a comment from the post Will You Submit to Government?:

If your mind is made up as to how you will react in any given situation before hand you should ask yourself who’s [sic] will is being done? But if you need a guide then be Christlike and bless your enemies, turn the other cheek and choose martyrdom with forgiveness in your heart and a prayer on your lips.

First, this man’s mind is made up as to how he will react. I will follow the OODA loop based on the situation. It is his right to choose martyrdom as much as it is my right to fight evil. I do not believe the coming war will be the Apocalypse. It will be a religious war where one side is good and one side is evil. I will not fight for evil and I will fight against evil. The distinction (excuse) people are using is that we want war. We want to be on the offensive. As I said, that is just an excuse to justify their own fears.

This statement reminds me of the Biblical parable of the three servants who were given money by their master to invest. The analogy here is that this man hides behind his faith and it does not increase. What will Jesus say on his judgment day about how he served God?

It is always surprising that people who use the Bible to support an evil government cannot justify how they support the United States which was formed by rebelling against their lawful king. With sacred Honor and divine Providence. Here is a better perspective from Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom (emphasis mine):

Well aware that the opinions and belief of men depend not on their own will, but follow involuntarily the evidence proposed to their minds; that Almighty God hath created the mind free, and manifested his supreme will that free it shall remain by making it altogether insusceptible of restraint; that all attempts to influence it by temporal punishments, or burthens, or by civil incapacitations, tend only to beget habits of hypocrisy and meanness, and are a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, who being lord both of body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by coercions on either, as was in his Almighty power to do, but to extend it by its influence on reason alone; that the impious presumption of legislators and rulers, civil as well as ecclesiastical, who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world and through all time.

I do not have any desire to exert my will on other people. I do have a desire to make people think about issues that may impact their future survival. If you feel a desire to be decapitated to show martyrdom, that is your right. I would propose that you surround yourself with people who have faith in God and His Word. That includes people who understand that there will always be wars and rumors of wars. Sell your cloak, buy an AR-15 and put on the armor of God to protect yourself.

Besides fear, I think the major problem is that people do not understand the government we have has founded. We as a country have the right and duty to protect liberty. This has to be apparent to anyone that understands why the 2nd Amendment was added to the Constitution. The Government is really in the end The People. The People living within the confines of the Constitution. That is the government God gave us. That is the government that We are to submit too. Not the tyrannical criminals that sit in DC. They are criminals that pass edicts and call them laws. They are evil men bend on doing evil things. To know good and not do it is a sin. Fear is a sin.

In case there are those that stoked this post by David reading this. If you walked in on a man raping your wife or daughter, would you raise a hand to stop him? If so, why? Then why not raise a hand to stop those that also choose to do your family wrong? The end result of socialism is always death.

Christ wouldn’t have told His disciples to “sell their robes and buy a sword” if He wanted them to lay down and have it used on them.
“Turning a cheek” is meant for those who don’t like you or have a grudge against you; not for a sworn enemy intent on killing you

“Turning the other cheek” is NOT an ordinance to martyrdom; it is an expression of proper Christian Tolerance. But true Christian Tolerance is not what they would have you believe it is.
True Christian Tolerance (and there is no other variety) is defined as follows:

Christian Tolerance is that virtue whereby, while the punishment for sin(s) would do more harm [to the individual, and/or to the community] than the sin itself; then, while the Judgement against the sin remains valid, the punishment is set aside [or at least reduced] as an act of Charity. But when the harm of the sin(s) shall exceed the harm of said punishment(s), then the full Judgement becomes due and executable.

This concept of weighing the harm of the punishment is not new; it goes at least as far back as English Common Law in clear instance, and in principle dates back to Jewish law before Christ’s advent.

In the US, we see this exact principle of Tolerance, operating under various titles and strictures, as, E.G. Prayer for Judgement or Accelerated Rehabilitation (where, if the offender commits no other crime for a period of 1 to 3 years, then the original charge is dismissed and the person has no criminal record); or often through Delayed Prosecution/Delayed Judgement, where the trial is put on hold while the person either 1. attends some form of treatment or instruction to resolve an underlying problem such as alcoholism or drug abuse, or 2. must perform some type of community service under the supervision of a custodial mentor -- in either case, their attitude and behavior during the treatment/education/service period is taken into account at their trial.

Those who demand tolerance in the absence of judgement, are demanding a thing which does not now, nor has ever existed. What they demand is not “Tolerance”, it is called “License”. And, a “License” is a writ of privilege to do a thing which, without said license, would be a crime (a sin).

And THAT is exactly what they want: an unlimited license to sin without consequence.
But man cannot issue license upon those things which God has prohibited. Issue what they will, but a sin remains a sin, remains a sin.

Sodom operated under such license, until said license was revoked by the authority of God.

Still waiting for some Bible verses to support your position.

Romans 12
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Rogerunited -- We can agree, disagree, pontificate and debate that’s why we are here…but calling the honorable David a liar was a bit too much.

Me thinks you need to remove that righteous broom stick…its probably making you walk funny.

once they come to my door I will not answer it, light has nothing to do with darkness, but if they insist on entering by force because they were given a list of our christian names by the sodomite negro and his demon worshipers in the white house or the house of sodomy including there democratic bolshevik party members, then i will gladly answer the door only to eradicate all of them. What else can one do, if you let them in they will rape your wife and children while you’re held down to watch , then they will Brutally murder everyone believing they are doing the work of there god satan. My advice is to kill all of them and treat them as the murdering animal entities they all are.
