I did a bit of research regarding human consumption of cat and dog meat and learned it happens throughout the world. In some areas, such meat is believed to have special “properties,” others consider cats and dogs livestock, and elsewhere it’s a matter of trying to ward off starvation. I do not know (and will not research) anything related to voodoo.
