A wise man told me ten years ago that if I cannot impact or change an issue, do not waste time on it. We have a limited amount of time left and I never thought we would have this much time before the collapse.

That’s for eternal rewards, [Romans 10:9,10]. The epistles list 5 crowns, or rewards for those who fight the good fight. Great word study, easy to do with the Internet!
Every minute counts when competing in the spiritual contest for the rewards at the gathering together.
I stumbled onto “Nextdoor” awhile back. I half heartedly signed up. I waited for neighbors to post things I could respond to. I expected to get censored. Much to my shock, I have been able to educate on most awake topics. Can this work in your area? Why not try?
The difficulty for me is how we can know that we *cannot* impact or change an issue. It seems to me all we usually ever get is the case that we have not *yet* thought of a way to do so. ( I always experience it as a failure of my imagination, or intelligence, rather than an inability )
Sometimes one can *prove* inability through “exhaustion”, or contradiction with what we have accepted as “the laws of pysics”, but those cases are exeedingly rare.
We *need* to let go of issues, as they are infinite, and our ability to consider them is finite. We must triage, but I seem to have to “think them to death” (toss them over until my thoughts begin to form circles, and nothing new occurs to me) before I can let go of them without getting that feeling you get when you stare at the radio controls too long while driving on the freeway. Even then, I seem to have to revisit them from time to time to convince myself I *still* cannot think of a way to impact or change them.
I do not seem to have the means, or even the persistent will to turn that off.
I’m with you, Fido. I think Southernprepper1 is as wrong as possible on this.
I’d like to see fewer people accepting what they (assume they) cannot change, and more people putting heads together to figure out how to change what they cannot accept.
Makes me wonder what SouthernPrepper is preparing for, other than having his children and grandchildren be slaves and worse to those cabals that he won’t “waste time” talking about.
If people could come together and remove power from these cabals, there would be no need for prepping. Don’t remove them, and the only thing you’re ultimately prepping for is serfdom.
There will be some economic collapse and temporary chaos, SouthernPrepper will come through it with flying colors only to then watch his children and grandchildren eat ze bugs!

These statement are very clear that I know who the enemy is. Do I need to read anymore articles or have anymore discussions about them. Sorry I did not lay out a action plan for you. I should have laid out my (our) plan in a public forum so you can see how serious I take the threat. I thought coming from a infantry guy that when I say someone wants to kill me you would understand that I would meet this threat head on for my sake but more important my children and grandchildren. You assume that my preparation are to survive a economic collapse and that is all. Building a community and having people prepare so they do not have to rely on the government but can provide all they need is the backbone of any resistant force. We all have different missions in life and mine is not to sit around talking about how bad they are my mission is to make sure my 750 grain flies true and the people around me are prepared for anything.

Been tending the garden, looking at some new, additional optics, working on alternative water sources etc.
There are plenty of sites dealing with many issues. Using His Gift of discernment we can visit each source for the Truths we can see. As He wills it.
No one of us can sift through it all daily.
Been visiting a site for a number of years. He never seemed to say much on the world and or the political. Recently however He has been sharing some views. His site also shares some connection to Suspicious observers ( for those of you who follow that one as i do. ) Anyway Jimmy (Veteran of Iraq etc.) at Brite insight has been making some very good connections, in my opinion.

So True. Lots of good info online about practical preps, how to do things, tools, growing food, etc. Then go Do it.
Already know from numerous reports that Food and Energy shortages are going to be growing concerns. So do what you can to be ahead of it.
