Women’s Rights or Genocide

In order for Socialism to succeed, the people must transfer their faith in a supernatural being to the state. Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian religions and a belief in an almighty God whose son is Jesus Christ. The government and media have marginalized our morality in order to justify this transference. Without a set of moral beliefs, a rational man is easily transformed into a man who can rationalize his actions.

The following video with Lisa Edelstein made by moveon.org is an to justify abortion, attack the Republican party and allow us to see another issue being addressed by Mr. Soros:

Is it a woman’s right to make a decision which impacts her own body? Or has abortion become a form of birth control used to rationalize an immoral attitude that suits the purpose of the state to degrade religious beliefs? Although I could debate either side of the abortion issue, the truth is that abortion is against the religious principles upon which our nation was built. My personal beliefs are pro life as any Christian must be.

Roe v. Wade was based on an individual case in 1973:

Facts of the Case:

Roe, a Texas resident, sought to terminate her pregnancy by abortion. Texas law prohibited abortions except to save the pregnant woman’s life. After granting certiorari, the Court heard arguments twice. The first time, Roe’s attorney — Sarah Weddington — could not locate the constitutional hook of her argument for Justice Potter Stewart. Her opponent — Jay Floyd — misfired from the start. Weddington sharpened her constitutional argument in the second round. Her new opponent — Robert Flowers — came under strong questioning from Justices Potter Stewart and Thurgood Marshall.

Question:

Does the Constitution embrace a woman’s right to terminate her pregnancy by abortion?

Conclusion:

The Court held that a woman’s right to an abortion fell within the right to privacy (recognized in Griswold v. Connecticut) protected by the Fourteenth Amendment. The decision gave a woman total autonomy over the pregnancy during the first trimester and defined different levels of state interest for the second and third trimesters. As a result, the laws of 46 states were affected by the Court’s ruling.

Decisions

Decision: 7 votes for Roe, 2 vote(s) against
Legal provision: Due Process

Some facts on abortion in the United States:

Number of abortions per year: 1.37 Million (1996)
Number of abortions per day:
Approximately 3,700

Who’s having abortions (age)?
52% of women obtaining abortions in the U.S. are younger than 25: Women aged 20-24 obtain 32% of all abortions; Teenagers obtain 20% and girls under 15 account for 1.2%.

Who’s having abortions (race)?
While white women obtain 60% of all abortions, their abortion rate is well below that of minority women. Black women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have an abortion, and Hispanic women are roughly 2 times as likely.

Over 50 million innocent lives have been aborted since 1973. Some people have classified this as genocide. Our country does not care how God would classify this number.

The 5000 Year Leap outlines 28 Principles of Freedom. The fourth principle outlines how the people of the United States lost their freedom.

Principle 4 – Without religion the government of a free people cannot be maintained.

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports…. And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion.” – George Washington
