Patriot groups ain’t gonna have mortars and Arty unless we are able to confiscate it from an opposing force which is very unlikely. Any opposing force with those kind of resources will also have more manpower than any patriot group they engage. For us it’s guerilla warfare, hit and run. Boot scoot and boogie because we cannot afford any losses. We don’t have air support or medivac. Maybe later on in the conflict when patriot groups join up with patriot military groups we would have access to those kind of resources but in the beginning, not so much. Just my opinion for whatever it’s worth.

Last week someone posted a UTube series by a Capt. Deleon on Squad/Platoon tactics. I watched every one; some more than once.
I can employ some of what is taught by the Captain and here. I learned to use obstacles more effectively, as an example.
I am continually finding NCR and American Partisan et al important resources.

Study the Enemies’ Tactics, Techniques and Procedures, NOT to emulate them, but to see what they will do to You. X-Beast is correct in saying that “Patriots” wil not have the Manpower and Equipment to fight ‘conventional’ battles.
All those Guys suggesting that “Patriots” Train and Operate like Imperial Troops, without all the equipment of Mechwar, are leading their fellows into Engagements that they cannot Win. I would be a lot more Interested in hearing from guys like Charles the Gook, or Achmed and Mohammed, for ways to Fight the Imperial Army.
Sniping, Bombing, and Sabotage are the TTP’s of the Guerilla Warfighter, and should be Studied thoroughly.
