I will. Start with the understanding that all models are wrong, but some are useful. The models value lies in attempting to forecast and predict amidst a changing landscape and to help determine how many resources are going to be required, where and when. That is all.

As far as the “now predicts 60,000 total deaths”, that’s just daft. The US alone already has about 15,000 deaths and there have been about 92,000 world wide and this thing is nowhere near over.

Of course it’s ALWAYS the the finance people who call this a hoax while crying “my money -- go back to work you a$$holes -- I’ve got a boat payment to make”.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the “It’s just the flu, bro” crowd has been thoroughly debunked and needs to sit down and shut up.

Penn State Health is using Remdesivir. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation invested 50 million to expedite clinical trials. Now, wonder why are the media and others condemning Trump for wanting to try hydroxychloroquine? This drug has been out since 1955. The “Special People” can’t make money on old drugs. Oh and by the way, Dr Birx’s daughter is Laura Birx. She is Deputy Director of Strategy and Planning and Management at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Oh, and another coincidence, Dr Birx graduated from Penn State Milton Hershey School of Medicine where she received her MD.
