I suppose the man in the video parody did not have the personal fortitude to get away from his virtual life. I deleted my Facebook and Twitter accounts over a month ago and never looked back. For those who have done the same, you know that these social media platforms give you a month to change your mind once you delete your account.

You can’t hide from social media, even if you’ve never had an account. They know who you are, and most of the details about your life. How? Your family and friends. A shadow profile is formed on you by default. So, it really doesn’t make any difference anymore.
That being said, don’t feed the beast yourself. I have no social media, outside a disgust account for commenting.

Have never done two Facebook, Wife was connected a few minutes. She is on messenger and there are days when it drives her crazier. lol)
We do not carry phones. Used to, but there is never a moments peace. That is one of the main problems of this world if you buy into all the tech all the time. My last phone was lost in the woods, Praise Yah! that was a sign.
Still often think should i have a phone when alone in the woods or out and about? Yet Trusting in Yah fully instead of tech, is very satisfying, and gainful.
i Get on here a few minutes almost each morning, some evenings and weekends, and yes that is too much at times.
People need some alone time Quiet time to Pray , to think, i to consider, to become more set-apart from this world. This alone will help one heal from the chaos of this existence. One on one time with the Creator. Take time, make time.
I dumped mine a few years ago when I realized the time that was being stolen from my life. Hours setting staring at the screen. Now with my new found time I’ve took up running, weight lifting, hiking with all my gear on! The world looks better without the screen in front of me! I challenge the rest to do the same! If you can’t run to the end of your driveway how long will you last in gun fight?? We need ALL hands on deck!
