Another Season Begins…

How has everyone been doing? I just got back from a weekend away with my wife, with no kids. It was nice to getaway like that. We ate some great food, hiked to a nice waterfall, saw some live Bluegrass at a festival, and most importantly just got to relax.

Now it’s time for me to live at the ballfield. I am coaching my daughters for Coach Pitch Softball ages 5-8, and I am coaching my son in Minor League Baseball ages 8-10. It’s going to be an interesting season as this will be my daughters first year having pitches thrown at them, they played tee-ball last year. Also this will be my son’s first year having a kid throwing pitches to him. He played machine pitch last year. We have been working on pitching and I imagine that is what we will concentrate heavily on with everyone on the team as most kids will have to pitch at some point in time.

I didn’t think I would enjoy coaching these kids as much as I do but, it takes my mind off of the problems we are faced with a few nights a week. I coached my older kids, now I have been coaching my younger kids for five straight years now. I’m stuck in it now. Believe it or not, it is hard to find people to coach. I have been blessed to have parents stick with me and I have had no problem finding assistant coaches. I’ve had the same assistants now for five years also. It’s turned into one big family. We all hang out together and everyone is always at each other’s kids birthdays party’s. It’s a nice escape from the world that gnaws on me.

Last night I got hit with a new tax assessment on my house. It was a substantial increase. My value doubled, just like that. People in this county are livid. It’s going to hurt.

I don’t even know what to say anymore. When I talk to people about the problems we are faced with, people are extremely angry and upset, but they just shrug their shoulders and say “what can we do? It’s the world we live in.” Then the vast majority turn the subject to their favorite sports team which at the moment is Basketball and March Madness. I’m too busy with my kids to be bothered with supporting thug ball.

We would be invincible if we would just stand together. Instead we allow pedophiles to dress in drag and dance in front of children. We allow political prisoners to be held without cause for over two years now. We have allowed our “government” to inject a poison into millions of our citizens without any repercussions. We have allowed fraudulent elections to stand. We have allowed money laundering thru Ukraine and the threat of WWIII to carry on without any protest. There are many other crimes I could name but that list would carry on for far too long.

I’ve devoted much of the last 15 years of my life to fighting this evil we are up against and it has meant nothing. It seems nobody is willing to risk their lives, their fortunes, and I don’t think many have any sacred honor left, but it seems no one is willing to risk anything.

It seems all I can do is coach 5-10 year olds at this point in a game that I couldn’t tell you one professional baseball players name.

I fear the future my children face. I hope they will know that I tried to do something. But I’m afraid they are going to have to bury a cowards bones when I pass eventually.

Yall have a good day.

I’ve got practice tonight.

Wes

Glad to here you got some time away Wes, the most important work you can do is with your family. I do not watch any of the sports, I too received my property taxes and they raised them, and next year will be a lot higher increase. I am headed this week to the assessors office to put a 3 year freeze on any more increases, they all seem to be little petty tyrants, federal, state and local. Well, if we cannot stand and fight, we deserve everything we are getting.

You are right Wes , I know that you’ve been one of the very few who’s serious all these years. Most everyone else won’t even have a phone conversation for networking purposes. But there have been a few and thats enough for now. While I’m not finished by a long shot, the season for me here at Renegade is ending, so this will be my final comment at this site. Shalom.

Sorry to see you go. I for one find your comments insightful and often times makes me think and see things in a different manner.
That being said, given some of what has been slung at you in a couple of recent threads, I can’t blame you.
As you said, though, “there are a few and that’s enough for now”. Through this site, I have made connections with a few, and perhaps that was the purpose.

It’s taken us 70 years to get into the place we’re in right now. The vast majority of those alive have no memory of history, and most of them have not learned it either. When the pain becomes unbearable enough, something will happen. For most, that hasn’t happened yet. The most important thing to do is make absolutely certain that the anger people are feeling is directed toward those who have done this to us, not toward those who blindly acquiesce to the Marxists.

Enjoy coaching. This is quality of life and it’s important. You deserve this quality, and so does your family.

As a Texan living in Texas, I understand the pain and outrage of confiscatory property taxes. Property taxes have become an extortion racket for the anti-Christian, Anti-White culture, radical communist, sexually perverted indoctrination centers formally called public schools.
The majority of my property tax is allocated to the failing indoctrination centers. The high paid, low effort, teachers in my county in Texas are now demanding 4 day work weeks with no reduction in pay which amounts to another 20% raise. The communist / unionist teachers are demanding the 4 day work week because of the “stress” of the job. Really, does this mean that the people who actually produce something of value who are working 2 jobs just to survive have no stress? Of course the communist / union members who have no accountability just received another $5,000 return to school bonus coupled with another huge raise this year.
In Texas, if you qualify for a senior (over 65 Years of age) and a homestead reduction your taxes will increase 10% per year like clockwork, which doubles your property taxes ever 7.2 years. If you do not qualify for these reductions there is no limit to the amount of increase. However, if you are a ex government first responder or government ex military with a disability, such as, an unprovable “back pain” or some other made-up wink, wink, disability you pay zero property taxes and the other working stiffs are required to make up the difference. Of course, you have to be ex government and not ex private sector employee to qualify for zero property taxes. That is why these parasites move to Texas to take advantage of the system.
Our useless pro-zionist governor Abbott and the pro-zionist, open border, republican majority legislature always promise to lower property taxes when they stand for election, however, they forget their promise once elected. Because of this, I am done supporting the republican party who can always be counted on to betray the people who voted for them. Of course, it goes without saying, that I will never support the democrat communist party. Who is $ John Galt? TEXIT! Texas Nationalist Movement!

Property taxes are rent we pay to the government to live in the homes we purchased. My property tax consumes 34% of my social security check, and I live in a 120 year old farmhouse that we renovated. Half of that goes the the local woke school system, the only source of ‘jobs’ around, so everyone works there, few children attend, and everyone votes for the schools to get more money because either they work there or someone they know does. I think the public has figured out how to vote themselves money, and now we are in trouble.

When I lived in New Joisey, I knew a guy how was a history teacher turned “guidance counselor.” He retired at 57. His pension was $52,000. His wife was also a teacher. He once said to me that he and his wife were happy with their career choices. Wonder why?

Wes,
Just the fact you are fighting the fight proves they will NOT bury a coward’s bones!
I am an ex Division 1 coach and pro player. I still help the local high school guys just to give my mind a respite from the real world. It helps to get away for a few minutes.
The vast majority are not aware that we are in the most dangerous time in US history. The churches will not mention the chaos and how to deal with it as believers in the Commander of Heaven’s Armies.
I’m older than dirt. I don’t care anymore. I’ll be glad to go out of this world the same way I came in…kicking and screaming and covered in someone else’s blood. I’m still good with a 308 out to about a thousand yards.
I simply want to hear the Savior say “Well done!”

I think that like many, I too am about fed up with the clown world we’re are currently witnessing. When the moment arrives that pushes me to move, no one here will know, that moment is one that may or may not affect anything, but in my own small way, it is rebellion.

A few years back, (they) had my house over valued. i scheduled the meeting to object and my reasons why. They do offer you this course of action. They saw it my way and reduced it back down to a fair assessment.
It is worth a shot!
Glad you got away and had some quality time.
