Brandon Smith: Leftists Support Tyranny – Conservatives Do Not: It’s Time To Separate

One of the great semantic debates of the past decade has been the ongoing attempt to muddle the definition of “Left vs Right” in the American political sphere. For example, a lot of people who are new to the liberty movement (people who became active during or after the Trump campaign in 2016) have heard of the “false left/right paradigm”, but they have no clue what it actually means. If you think it means there are no legitimate political sides in this fight and that the entire conflict is theatrical or manipulated, then you are misinformed.

The false left/right paradigm specifically refers to the fake division at the VERY TOP of the political pyramid among elitists in government. There are certainly Republicans that are conservative in their rhetoric but not conservative in their actions or policies, and they tend to support or side with politicians on the left regularly when it comes to big government spending and big government power (just look to the Republicans that voted in favor of Joe Biden’s recent infrastructure bill).

Democrats and leftists don’t have to pretend. They base their entire platform on collectivism and centralization. This is no secret. The only theater is in their motives. Top Democrats claim they are fighting for the “greater good” of the masses when they are actually elevating and benefiting a tiny minority of wealthy elites. They do not care at all about the lives of their constituents.

Things change dramatically when we start talking about the bottom of the pyramid among regular people. The political spectrum is not as broad and nuanced as some people would have us believe and the sides are much easier to discern. There are exceptions to every rule and to every group, but to say the groups do not exist is an act of denial.

There are also people who call themselves “moderates” because they think this makes them more impartial and more open-minded. They don’t want to appear as if they are moving to one “extreme” end of the spectrum or the other. But, ultimately, there are only two sides in this fight: Either you are in favor of intensive government dominance of people’s lives, or you are not. And, the vast majority of people in favor of government tyranny herald from the left side of the political spectrum. They revel in the totalitarianism, even when they don’t necessarily benefit from it.

Yes, it’s time to stop pretending as if there is a “gray area” here and call the situation as it really is. The political left is obsessed with control over how people live, act and even how they think. Issues like Critical Race Theory, BLM, big tech censorship, the covid lockdowns and vax mandates have really clarified things to the point that if you can’t see the enormous difference between leftists and conservatives then you are being willfully ignorant.

In my latest articles I have been exploring the theme of the political left and their habit of wearing masks to hide their true natures. Many of them will support socialist, collectivist and globalist policies while also claiming they support freedom at the same time. Yet, when they are actually faced with real world decisions in terms of unilateral authoritarianism, the true character of the average leftist is revealed and it’s an ugly thing to behold.

Sorry, Rob; but that constitutes murder. It’s one thing to engage in a fire fight or to defend one’s self and yet another altogether to commit autrocities. And there is nothing wrong with trial and punishment by death. I would be reluctant to serve beside you knowing you might go off the deep end. And that’s coming from a hawk.

I understand. Odd that I am actually against all wars that go beyond self defense. I have a rule that I live by: don’t use any kind of violence (physical/verbal/mental) against another living creature unless it is in self defense (and I’m not talking about hunting). I sincerely believe ALL humans (except for the ones trying to kill us) deserve life, liberty and peace. Equal justice for all. “Judge a man by the content of his character”. NO WAR would be the best war.

And now they are trying to poison our food.

This is a very different kind of war. I don’t even kill most bugs or spiders, hornets, wasps. Even though no one is standing in front of me with a weapon of any kind, nor is my death imminent, people ARE trying to kill me. Anything I might do, or wish I could do, is in the spirit of self defense. The rules are different now. No, there is nothing wrong with trial and punishment by death. But it seems to me the mechanisms that used to be able to be used for those, are apparently gone, or so I’ve noticed. Of course, running around willy-nilly offing folks is not the thing to do, but often these days there are those, for the benefit of society would be better picked off. Creative justice in the face of none. Adaptation and balance.

2-party system? We have Left Wing, Right Wing…Same Bird! Our forefathers warned us against Enemies within and we are seeing how foreogn money has corrupted…its time for Jefferson: The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. Rome went through this on numerous occasions. From Marcus Tullius Cicero: A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.  But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

I was born during the 3rd term of FDR and evolved over 78 years to trust not a single party or politician. I trust only One and His Son. I ran for the house in 1988, wrote a really good book telling readers what was coming. Both failed. Andrew Clyde is my congressman and Majorie Taylor Greene is just west of here. They will scream in the wilderness and their voices will be silenced. Those who think there is a political solution to this spiritual battle will ignore my outlook and call me a cynic, quitter or worse. I really don’t care. I have saved lives and taken lives and ready to give up my own rather than trust in human saviors.

Succession…we don’t need no stinking succession. The majority of Libs-Communists live in Blue States are Jab Takers and they are dying now! Already 1.5mm are dead (Vaers 1% X 99) and that number will increase with every additional Booster! So we need patience and should concentrate on destroying the real A-Holes & MF’ers…Klaus Anal-Shwab, Billy Pedo-Gates and the rest!

The gubmint doesn’t like the word secession. TX was talking it up last year. It got hit with an usual freeze. Many lost power, pipes that weren’t used to that kind of weird weather broke. Suddenly, survival was the battle cry, not secession.
The gubmint doesn’t fight fare. Your tax dollars funds weather warfare. Was this freeze just a coincidence? Homicide detectives will tell you what they think of coincidences with a person they suspect.
Wait, what about all the guns TX has? Pullleeesseee. The Branch Davidians were well armed. How did that turn out?
Jeremiah 5:21
“Hear now this o foolish people, and without understanding, which have eyes which see not, which have ears which hear not.”
The problem is the sheeple that will not wake up. We need a mass awaking not secession.

“Either you are in favor of intensive government dominance of people’s lives, or you are not. And, the vast majority of people in favor of government tyranny herald from the left side of the political spectrum. They revel in the totalitarianism, even when they don’t necessarily benefit from it.”

This is not really a definitively ‘black and white’ statement or issue. It’s actually a social issue, as well as cultural reaction to decades of political inaction and a failure to govern in terms of what was espoused (whether by the people or government). To explain, firstly, yes, Republicans in government are largely extremists as evidenced by a lack of governing on behalf of the American people, as are democrats; their profit margin is aligned elsewhere. There is no political party working for your benefit, perhaps only a small amount of individuals are. People are becoming gleeful about the totalitarianism in large part, because they lost respect for the people who would often purport to be proponents of the Constitution, frequently responding with a comment such as “work harder” to individuals who were in financial dire straits, and there was no viable way for them to do so in this rigged economy, perhaps already working three jobs, also not being able to afford basic and necessary things such medical care when needed, further hindering their ability to work, and other such instances. In other words, their whole lives are dedicated to managing poverty as they see the education received in no way positions them for social or economic mobilty. At some point, people see the lie, the contradiction, that is America. The churches further keep people oppressed with regards to how to govern; finding workable solutions to their personal plights, and as germaine to locales and the ‘body politic’. The issue is that many of these individuals learned to express the dominant political idea, and agitate for it, based on teaching and examples they received from the political left. The only thing the political right offered was more talk about its platform positions that didn’t trickle down, with much of the working class being degraded across the spectrum of social, financial, educational, medically, influence-wise and so forth, effectitively wielding no political power. They learned disdain for the ‘party in name only’, the term ‘conservative’ and ‘republican’ becoming redundant and a hindrance.
