I had to fill out the information for my business. It’s not REALLY that egregious. I object to oversight and regulation on principle so I’m happy to see this come to pass, but people need to know for most simple organizations it really wasn’t a big deal. Now a multinational corporation with millions of shareholders may be different. Single member LLC, took 60 seconds.

I found workers comp to be way more in my business than that bs but I still hate it.

This damn law (FinCEN) was the catalyst for us shutting down our business. We were likely going to do this anyway, but this was the proverbial final straw. It’s a lot easier to grow most of our own food and live simple, low-cost lives than to try to even consider opening a new business, especially in this state, not to mention that who knows what happens in 3 1/2 years. Not taking any more chances with exposing ourselves to the tyrants of the fed. Enough.
