I’m not sure death is the only exception. “Shipwreck” was explaining that once we’re within so many days of the election, any party can simply install a person bypassing all the usual rules and regulations. This would be perfect for the DNC to install HRC or Michelle Obama and there wouldn’t be enough time for the opposition to research them or get the necessary word/warning out to the people.
