This was a good speech. But nothing will come of it. I do not understand Democrats.
All the politicians have been bought, bribed, threatened or blackmailed. They are given their marching orders on how to vote by their masters. When one understands this, one will understand why they never need to read the bills they pass, much less debate them. Any debating or speechifying is merely theater for we rubes.

That’s what I’m thinking also. It took them over 3 years, after the damage has already been done, to do absolutely nothing but put on a show because the elections are drawing near.
Its not as though the Republicans care one bit about the Constitution either.
