DHS fears Taliban takeover could ‘inspire’ uprising by US insurrectionists & white supremacists, CNN claims

With President Joe Biden declaring the US pullout from Afghanistan complete and the war over, his government is shifting focus to enemies at home, namely “white supremacists” and “extremists” allegedly cheering on the Taliban.

“White supremacist and anti-government extremists have expressed admiration for what the Taliban accomplished, a worrying development for US officials who have been grappling with the threat of domestic violent extremism,” CNN reported on Wednesday afternoon.

Only one official is mentioned by name, however – John Cohen of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis at the Department of Homeland Security. His concern came from a teleconference call with law enforcement on Friday, which CNN says it obtained, when Cohen said these groups were “framing the activities of the Taliban as a success.”

Another source for the story is SITE Intelligence Group, an NGO run by professional “extremist tracker” Rita Katz. Their August 26 weekly bulletin contains a single quote by an anonymous person on a Telegram channel praising “farmers and minimally trained men” who fought to “take back their nation back from globohomo.”

What a croc! Lies and more lies! Commie propaganda spewing deceit, trying to justify what they’re going to do: Come after us. Liars will reap what they sow.

I — contrarian that I am — view this as a good thing. Such bloviation is a sign of weakness … of fear. Sic semper tyrannis.

I think they are correct: we should do the same to this illegal government as the Taliban did. We do not have accept any correlation between patriots and the Taliban but we should see that this evil government is a paper tiger.

I completely agree with your assessment wholeheartedly. Joe said we need F-15s and nukes to fight them. Taliban did it with grit and 50+ year old worn out AKs.

Oh yeah, if we get off our lazy apathetic asses, they should be concerned.

My biggest confusion is still the same.
I am not a trained soldier and can’t imagine how the hell the ones who are trained, are just not doing jack…
What do they know is one of my thoughts…are they waiting to see us/WTP, get angry enough to know we deserve their support.. we deserve the freedom..? If so, I’M THERE!
Idk it confuses the hell out of me, i don’t have an oath to anyone except loved ones, but morals and honor i do have.
This country has been very stained and sold out by plenty of shit scum, she’s still the greatest country ever to exist in my opinion. Much worth dying for!
So, what’s the wait? Why are TRAINED, much more Highly skilled ones with “oath” doing jack so far….baffling!
There is no very good plan I’ve seen for anything, not with “fair-ish” outcomes we seem to seek at least. I talk freely on here bc i truly don’t give a shit anymore what THEY think.
Most likely, we’re all “listed” by the tyrants, AS ARE THEY BY US!
