Moscow has denied carrying out any attack on the Ukrainian port of Odessa, the Turkish defence minister said Saturday, a day after Moscow and Kyiv penned a deal to resume grain exports.

“The Russians told us that they had absolutely nothing to do with this attack and they were looking into the issue very closely,” Hulusi Akar said, but Russia has yet to officially comment.

The ports have not been being blocked by the Russians, they were immobilized by the Ukranians mining the shipping channels. The mines have to be cleared before any shipping traffic can move. My guess is the headlines are hype and the truth is that either something tried to move through the mine field or some inept attempt at minesweeping took place.
But its all speculation because no one is reporting the truth on anything.

You are too right. How to know? That said, everyone has to believe something. Based on past experience, I trust nothing the Western news media reports. So … I expect either an accident or a false flag.

I have heard rumors the Ukies are targeting their own silos because they are, in fact, empty.

Consider the source. However, the Russian sources have, to date, appeared accurate, while the Western ones almost all propaganda.

The Russians say that they fired 4 missiles at military targets in Odessa. 2 were intercepted. 2 hit their targets. A Ukrainian military ship in the port was hit. And one other Harpoon missile site was hit. The 2 missiles intercepted will fall where they may. The Ukrainian port authority says shipments of grain were not interrupted. The Ukrainians have been shipping grain overland through Poland and also out of the port of Constanta in Romania since the war started. Ukrainian agriculture officials indicated that grain shipments out of Ukraine this year have been about normal, compared to recent years. And of course the Ukrainians could have been using their own port at Odessa if the Ukrainians hadn’t put hundreds of sea mines near there. Almost everything out of western news sources is war propaganda.
