I got as far as the part where he said, ” illegals have to go back home and apply to come here legally.” The problem is not legality. The problem is the massive numbers of invaders. They are not our people. And yet he’s willing to let them in if they “go by the rules”. He just doesn’t get it.
I get your point, but remember, there’s a LONG backlog of citizenship applicants waiting overseas for approval. Lots of things would happen during the years between their filing for legal status and granting of it, if that happened.

Trust me. I was a Peace Officer in SoCal for over 30 years and dealt with these Latinos quite a bit. Life is a vale of tears.
