I join General George Patton in believing that we fought the wrong enemy in World War II. My ancestor Johan arrived in America in 1709 from Leipzig, Germany. Had he not come here then, my familial line may have been extinguished in one of the world wars. While I consider myself, rightly, a Heritage American, German blood runs in my veins from both the paternal and maternal lines. The Fatherland is the home of my ancestors.
So while the Russians celebrate their victory in the Great Patriotic War, and while our President falsely boasts that America defeated Germany, I remember the sacrifice and destruction of Germany and her people. I remember the war crimes committed against Germany by the Allies: Dresden, Hamburg … the regular German army POW’s left to die of exposure in barbed wire enclosures as Eisenhower renamed them ‘detainees’ with no rights under the Geneva Convention … the serial rapes of German women from toddler to grandmother by the victorious Allied troops … and the guilt trip that never ends. I pay tribute to the valor of the German soldier.

I think more people are seeing through 80 years of rah rah victory dance and realizing the real demonic forces of communism and judaism, but I repeat myself. Unlike kenneth below, when you find yourself in a 55 to 1 street fight it is near impossible to come out on top, and gratuitous kicking while down is a given.

I’m playing catch up with WW1 and 2. Overall, all wars are banker wars. Looks to me like Adolf was just propped up to be the bad guy to get the war going.
Even before I started waking up, I could never figure out how Germany got leveled in WW1, was forced to pay restitutions yet was taking the world on just a few decades later.

Germany, like all empires, over-extended in WWII and paid the price for it. Had they not, most of Europe would be called Germany today. But that too is doubtful, since Germany today is like a whore, spreading her legs to Islam.

And to WWII. I once read that after the war a german patriot and a high ranking US member of the diplomatic corps who was described as one of the architects of allied victory were talking and the US guy said that WWII was Life fighting against Death and that Death won.
