Convention of States – Dangerous. At least at the moment there is still a republic on paper governed by the people and for the people. Once a convention of states is called it is no longer controlled by the terms under which it was called. It can just rip up the constitution we currently have and put in place the communist state ‘they’ desire.
I rather form a new nation that do a convention.
From the Republican party’s inception, they have trampled the Constitution. Why do we pretend they care?
I don’t trust that convention any more than the current congress!
All the tools to maintain the constitution are already in hand, if used!
Agree, we are telling them to add more cartridges in the gun to the back of our head, they are not listening to our dissent or vote.

Ah … they don’t abide by the Constitution as it stands. Haven’t since 1860. Why would they abide by changes to it, and that’s assuming the changes are beneficial and as we would like?

Convention of States, yeah great idea, rid the Republic of the Constitution in favor of what, a compendium whittled together by the same half-wits that re-elect rinos. No thanks, I’ll keep MY Constitution and Bill of Right, even if the current abominations ruling the country think it “outdated.” Even if it has been slowly chipped away at by false leaders that answer to money and power. No sir, COS ignorant idea!
We have a constitution. It cannot defend itself. These people are NOT us.

COS is very dangerous…if it were to occur, it would go the way of our present elections. If those in power won’t abide by our present documents, they’ll never comply to anything added to them…unless it’s modified to their favor. Simply put, COS is a present ploy by our enemies to trick America into turning the documents our founders gave us into shackles and chains.
A COS would scheisse-can The Bill of Rights as a first step; everything that would come afterward is as predictable as the sunrise.
