That Lancet published study vilifying HCQ that Chris has debunked point by point over the past few videos? It’s just been retracted.
Turns out, it was exactly the “garbage science” Chris said it was. Score a big victory for fans of truth. But it shouldn’t have to be this way…our scientists should be rigorous and honest. We need that more than ever right now.
But instead, we’re getting shoddy results at best, and compromised conclusions influenced by politics and money at worst. Too much damage is being done right now — to our faith in the institutions that govern our society, to social equity, to public health and security.
As we’ve been warning, long after the virus subsides, it’s going to take years — possibly decades — to recover from the wounds covid-19 has inflicted.
I would estimate 300 attendees minimum at the BLM Murphy Peaceful Protest.
Observations:
No buses.
Mainly local people in attendance from what I was told.
Sheriff Palmer spoke longer than the three organizers combined.
The protest lived up to its name as it was peaceful.
The organizers did not expect to get the level of support for the event which lasted 45 minutes.
There were no outside news outlets in attendance and I do not think there were any outside organizations associated with this event.
I have videos coming but the sound quality may make them useless. The sound system was a megaphone that was not very effective. So I interviewed two of the three organizers separately after the event which should have good sound quality.
I was pleasantly surprised by the organizers afterward who apologized to me for not being able to hear their talks. The two organizers that I interviewed were genuine with no agenda other than to have justice for everyone. I think people will be pleasantly surprised by their videos.
You can fool most of the people most of the time, but you can’t fool reality any of the time.
The reigning chaos reflects perfectly what passes for thought in millions of minds. Minds that have been taught that reality is whatever one believes it to be. That reason is a superstition and is inferior to random feelings and emotions. That observation, hypotheses, experimentation, discovery, and science itself are akin to voodoo rituals. That consumption precedes production and is morally superior to it. That anyone’s work, income and wealth are subject to anyone else’s proclaimed need. That actions have no consequences.
Rioters and looters are faithfully adhering to the distilled essence of what our rulers and intellectual have been telling them for decades: If you need it, or just want it, it’s yours to have or destroy. They are simply eliminating the government middleman. The only surprise is that it didn’t happen long ago.
The Age of Chaos has arrived. Violence is accomplishing what violence always accomplishes—destruction, ruin, and death. The only theoretical justification for government is that it employs force to protect its citizens from violence—invasion, violence against persons or property, and the indirect violence implicit in procuring and keeping value through fraud or extortion.
President Donald Trump campaigned about “draining the swamp,” but the list of cabinet members and advisors is nothing but Council on Foreign Relations Members and Bilderberg attendees. Yet, people continue to believe he is for the American people instead of recognizing he is controlled opposition and the face of the New World Order.

No, not for the riots, the broken windows, the shootings, the beatings, the theft of property, the bricks that were thrown, the clogging of streets, the litter in the roadways, the unnecessary fires, the overtime we will all have to pay for government workers, and on the list goes. I’ll send you the itemized bill. It will be long and large.
More than 1.7 million firearms were sold in the U.S. last month, up 80 percent compared to last May. That follows a 71 percent surge in April to just under 1.8 million sold, and just under two million guns were sold in March.
Some perspective: The all-time record, following the Sandy Hook massacre and President Obama’s address vowing to make a major push for more gun control, was two million guns sold in January 2013. This chart shows a general trend upward for years. In September 2001, gun sales were only about 750,000, and that was a month when sales surged.
So we’re looking at just a hair under record gun sales for each of the last three months, totaling about 5.5 million firearms sold in 90 days. Presumably June gun sales will also be robust.
Oh, I assure you they will be. Sales are big somewhere near enough to me, and when I go down to my local Academy Sports somewhere in Gaston County, while there are the various shoppers buying odds and ends – coolers, chairs, and so forth – the main clientele are folks like me headed to the guns and ammo section because we know when the trucks come in. We know. Online sales are only so good. We must supplement.
Whites and blacks are there together, and no one is fighting. I’ve had many a discussion with black folk wanting protection from the thugs. The thugs. You know who they are. The brown shirts. Or in this case, the black shirts. They are white, they are black. But they are all communists.
Sure enough, it may not come to that and it may only involve fists and such. But if it does, suburban and rural America is more than ready.
My own chairman of the board of county commissioners recently wrote an article in a local paper and said “You can take my guns out of my cold, dead hands.” That was right before we became a 2A sanctuary county.
I’ve tried, my colleague gun bloggers have tried, and Lord knows, we’ve tried so hard. But we haven’t really been as successful as we’d like.
I’ve known it all along, me and my readers, the fact that the police aren’t there to protect us. We knew it from Warren v. D.C. and Castle Rock v. Gonzalez.
But now America knows it viscerally, existentially. They know it for real, in terms of home, hearth and family.
Congratulations! You did what I could never have achieved.
Tuesday’s city council meeting became heated, with more than an hour spent discussing the relocation of the “Fame” Confederate statue after Mayor Pro Tem Al Heggins and more than a dozen members of the public noted events associated with recent protests there made it a public safety issue.
Fame was the site of two gunshots fired Sunday evening during a protest held in response to George Floyd’s killing in Minneapolis last week. A police officer knelt on Floyd’s neck for several minutes before Floyd, a North Carolina native, stopped breathing. The shots were allegedly fired by Jeffrey Allan Long, a man from Kernersville with ties to Confederate groups. Police in Salisbury used riot gear and tear gas to disperse protesters on Monday night.
At the beginning of the council meeting, Heggins requested adding to the agenda discussion about relocating the “Fame” statue in light of the protests and state of emergency that Mayor Karen Alexander implemented on Tuesday, calling the statue’s location a “public safety issue” and public nuisance. Heggins’ request was for the council to place it on the agenda to allow the city manager and city attorney to obtain and then bring forward legal information about relocating the statue. She asked the council to express their opinions about whether it should be moved or stay in its current location.
However, Alexander as well as council members David Post and Brian Miller said they were opposed to adding her motion as she worded it to the agenda due to insufficient notice to the public.
Heggins responded that she didn’t think “it’s a surprise that ‘Fame’ has been a lightning rod in our community.” She called the council’s hesitation to discuss it on Tuesday a “pretext for the council not stepping up.”
An undercover journalist with Project Veritas successfully infiltrated Portland’s Rose City Antifa cell, capturing footage of a meeting in which members discussed how to “get out there and do dangerous things as safely as possible.”
Antifa has been a fixture at the nationwide Black Lives Matter protests against police brutality (with varying degrees of success) which began after the May 25 death of 46-year-old black man George Floyd at the hands of white Minneapolice police officer Derek Chauvin, who pressed his knee to Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes as onlookers begged him to stop.
According to National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien on Sunday, the violence “is being driven by Antifa.“
This event is currently scheduled for Thursday, June 4th in downtown Murphy, NC.
This protest is being organized on Facebook. The group was created on June 1, 2020 and currently has 646 members
Issue 1:
About This Group
Private
Only members can see who’s in the group and what they post
I asked to join the group but was not accepted. A private group organizing a protest always make me wonder what they have to hide. Even if someone joined the group to disrupt it, they can be removed.
Issue 2:
I have to take someone else’s word but I have a high level of confidence in their character. The initial posts on Facebook stated that 300 people were being bused in from Asheville and Atlanta. These posts have been deleted so I have no screen shots. If this is true, I have to ask who is funding the cost of the buses?
Based on current government census data, the above information shows 486 people of Black or African American descent in the county. I bought my home in Murphy 10 years ago so that means I am not a local and will always be an outsider. I know there were some racial issues here in the past but I do not know of any since I have been here. What is the purpose of a BLM protest in Murphy?
Issue 4:
The group has been issued a permit which precludes any firearms. The chief of police has issued the following statement:
FROM TOWN OF MURPHY POLICE DEPARTMENT:
To the citizens, business owners and travelers of the Town of Murphy and Cherokee County, beginning at 5:30 pm, on Thursday, June 4th, we will be closing off certain streets and sidewalks in the Town of Murphy for a peaceful demonstration that has been approved to begin at 6:00 pm. On June 2nd, the organizers of this event filed the proper paperwork regarding a Permit to Demonstrate with the Murphy Police Department and the Town of Murphy.
During this event, all motor vehicle traffic will be diverted around this area for the organizers and participant’s safety. As with any peaceful demonstration occurring across the United States, certain individuals and organizations take advantage of these situations turning it into something that it is not. While the organizers and participants of this demonstration are exercising their First Amendment Rights, which everyone is entitled to, we will respect their wishes and assist in any way that we can. We cannot emphasize enough what these organizers are doing to keep this event as peaceful as possible.
While we encourage everyone to exercise their Constitutional Rights, this specific permit does not allow the carrying of firearms, handguns or rifles, during this demonstration. While we have viewed and read many Facebook comments regarding people bringing firearms to this demonstration, even for good intentions, or to show solidarity, this will not be allowed. If you show up with a firearm, you will kindly be asked to remain outside of the demonstration area.
While many injustices occur on a daily basis, we never support, nor condone, what occurred this past week to Mr. George Floyd or anyone else. While we will not make this about us, we will be here to support those who peacefully protest to bring awareness to their cause. Some may agree with this statement and some may not. As with anything else, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Please remember…that law enforcement is here to serve and protect everyone.
Listed below are the following streets and sidewalks that will be closed during this event:
Peachtree St. and Alpine St. (Murphy Police Department)
Peachtree St. and Central St. (Cherokee County Courthouse)
Peachtree St. and Central St. (Adjacent to the Cherokee County Courthouse)
Peachtree St. and Valley River Ave./Hiwassee St. (Town Square)
We would kindly ask that individuals that have questions regarding this demonstration, to please not tie up any emergency lines with the Cherokee County E-911 Communications Center. Please stay tuned for any updates or changes that may occur before this event takes place. Thank You, Chief Justin J. Jacobs.

So much for the 2nd Amendment on public property even if you are not participating in the protest.
Issue 5:
Why has this event been scheduled on a Thursday evening starting at 6:oo PM in a town that has a 9:00 PM curfew for the COVID pandemic? If anything violent did come up at this protest, it could be the catalyst for a national spark this weekend.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Of course, the above issues are personal concerns. I have been around long enough to know that just thinking about the above issues is a thought crime and makes me a racist. I have found that being called a racist is just a cover for when the other side cannot win or make their point in a discussion. I believe that there will be unintended consequences to this country if this movement becomes peaceful. If we all come together in peace, either the movement will grow to make real government change (which the powers that be do not want) or the people funding the civil unrest will not achieve their objectives (which they do want) and will initiate false flags.
My concern is based on bricks. The funding and organization necessary to preposition bricks and other material for violence around the country without anyone seeing the deliveries is the tell. The majority of the people in this country know something is wrong and I am not just talking about racial injustice. If we did come together in peace, we would face the opposition outlined above, so what are our alternatives? Trust in God and realize that we are all Brothers in Christ regardless of color, race or any other issue in the culture war manufactured to divide us.
I pray that this will be a peaceful protest. My gut tells me something is very wrong for this protest to be in rural Murphy with very little law enforcement and no backup from other law enforcement agencies in a short time frame. If there are people being bused in, we are in trouble. If this is a local effort to support racial equality, we should all support this event.
Mass civil unrest is a cumbersome weapon for societal change; like an oversized caveman club made of oak. You can barely swing it, and when you do you might destroy an enemy with it but you could also unwittingly destroy innocent people at the same time. Once the weapon is in motion adjusting its direction or momentum becomes difficult.
I prefer the scalpel approach – Find the cancer and cut it out directly, rather than bashing at the whole body just to get at one tumor.
Another problem with protests and riots is that they often have no discernible goals, or they lose track of their goals almost immediately. When the initial protests started, they targeted the police precinct in Minneapolis which was home to the officers that killed George Floyd. In my view this was perfectly acceptable. At this stage a majority of Americans were on their side. Many conservatives and law enforcement officers even came out in support of these measures and admonished the actions that violated common police procedure and led to unnecessary death.
But now, the situation has turned into something far beyond the killing of George Floyd. It has become a vehicle for agendas and not surprisingly the establishment benefits most; the very establishment the protesters think they are fighting against.
