Let Us Remember Who Is Really Important

Image may contain: possible text that says 'IN 2 WEEKS... THE WORLD HAS SEEN HOW HEALTHCARE WORKERS, TRUCK DRIVERS & GROCERY STORE EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN MORE SIGNIFICANT THAN NBA PLAYERS, ACTORS, & FAMOUS PEOPLE.'

I would have included politicians but the point has been made.

Simple Beliefs and Facts

P-values Explained By Data Scientist - Towards Data Science

I believe that the Trump administration is trying to save American lives. I believe that Dr. Fauci is the right man to have the President’s ear. I believe that our country is in the midst of a transformation that we can shape for a much better future but only if we develop the same character that existed in this land in 1776.

But these are my beliefs, not facts as presented below.

  1. In the scientific community, all research papers are based upon an initial hypothesis (H0). The hypothesis is proven or disproven by testing. The results of the testing are analyzed with a statistical program (usually SAS) and if the p value (usually 0.05 or below) validates the original hypothesis, the paper is sent to other laboratories for a peer review in which they must replicate the results of the paper. If the results cannot be replicated, then the paper is rejected. The paper will state the p value(s), it will not state if the original hypothesis is true. We saw this process completely invalidated by politicians and their lackeys in the scientific community to promote global cooling/global warming/climate change) to advance an agenda. Here is an appropriate example for SARS which EVERYONE needs to understand. Warning, this paper will educate you concerning how science works and what ADE is. To be clear, HB-19 is a SARS coronavirus.
  2. The above process takes time but I am confident that studies have been already made using the accepted process. If it was me, I would focus on the R0 value first and then the case fatality rate second (CFR). I would use populations which are not biased and have a sample size (n) of at least 100 people. With correct funding, I would prefer larger sample sizes with a minimum of 10 samples to preform an analysis of variance (ANOVA). The parameters of the testing must be well defined (age, sex ,race, climate, etc.) in order to be replicated. So the testing of HB-19 would take a few days. The results could be analyzed within a few more days. If the p value was acceptable for publication, the peer review process would begin. In the real world, a leader in the scientific community (i.e. a rainmaker) would have their initial results submitted to the government immediately. This is a shortened version of the process: I would repeat the testing on the original samples to watch the spread of the virus and to calculate the CFR every week.
  3. So where are the papers after 4 months?

I believe the data is being kept from the general public for obvious reasons. It may be that they are correct and that we cannot handle the truth. Has anyone heard even one of the talking head experts discuss a p value? Or are these “experts” just looking for their five minutes of fame. As are the politicians who have now been exposed as children lost in the forest.

I am thankful to God for the path he has led me to walk. The scientific knowledge to recognize this pandemic early through its exponential growth and China’s reaction to lockdown Wuhan allowed me to self-quarantine since the first week of February. It allowed me to be a watchman on the wall to warn others.

I pray to God that we learn from this teaching and develop the courage, virtue, morality and humility to have our souls tempered to develop a better future for our children.

A fiasco in the making? As the coronavirus pandemic takes hold, we are making decisions without reliable data

The current coronavirus disease, Covid-19, has been called a once-in-a-century pandemic. But it may also be a once-in-a-century evidence fiasco.

At a time when everyone needs better information, from disease modelers and governments to people quarantined or just social distancing, we lack reliable evidence on how many people have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 or who continue to become infected. Better information is needed to guide decisions and actions of monumental significance and to monitor their impact.

Draconian countermeasures have been adopted in many countries. If the pandemic dissipates — either on its own or because of these measures — short-term extreme social distancing and lockdowns may be bearable. How long, though, should measures like these be continued if the pandemic churns across the globe unabated? How can policymakers tell if they are doing more good than harm?

T.L Davis – Dystopian States of America

This was a recent comment that shows exactly the dangers and ignorance that is rampant today. In response to my post on Eating the Elephant, Mr. Dickson wrote this:

Quarantine…enforced or voluntary….is as old as the practice of medicine. This…..OMG….the world is going to end defeatism, has got to stop. Our government is guilty……..of trying to save lives and it will only retain whatever power we allow them.

Yes, the government is good and wholly on our side in this pandemic. I recently described the government as this: “One cannot simply believe that there is no evil in government, it is better to operate as if the government is evil and let the good expose itself.”

I have never been one to say “OMG…the world is going to end” what I have said time and time again is that the world, the one most people see and recognize, has been over for a long time. It is a facade. Evidence of its destruction is harder to come by, but is slowly being revealed. I am not shocked or startled by this. My take has always been to point it out, first where Constitutional violations were nullifying that document, then, post Constitution the dangers of not having overriding principles to guide our government, then, without individual rights where the government could take us as a people, which is straight into some state-ordered lockdown of healthy people over a middling pandemic of a virus that is eminently treatable with Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc.

Look at it another way, as a test of state power. It doesn’t matter that Donald Trump is president, DeBlasio is a mayor and can tell citizens of NYC how much soda to drink. We are at a point where the communists feel their oats, are sure that the power of the state will be seen as the hero of the pandemic and Americans will beg for more to “stay safe.” The communists cheer on every infection, get giddy over massive unemployment rates caused by the lockdown; their sense of reality is shockingly twisted in breathless anticipation of winning the presidency to the point they don’t even care what sort of imbecile they put in the Oval Office. Why? Because the communists plan to run the office through Google and Facebook anyway. The consortium presidency. They are on the verge of getting what they need, what they want, what they have always expected to get, which is a communist-run United States of America. But, what they are going to get, even if they win, is a broke, defeated, deflated withering balloon image of the United States of America, one that will have to be rebuilt after the damage caused by this panic-stricken shut down of the American economic engine that derived its power from capitalism, even the heavily regulated, state-controlled capitalism of the past thirty years.

Not to mention we are right now one sustained electric blackout away from total anarchy, something previous generations would have shrugged at and lit a kerosene lamp. Today, that would be the end of entertainment, the end of working remotely, the end of heat and air conditioning in places like Phoenix, that could never have grown to their size without it. The water stops pumping and the urbanite hordes that ravaged the distant smaller towns for toilet paper will meet armed resistance this time. But, the question is not what is going to happen and how it is going to happen so much as what are we going to do after that? I’m sorry, but when the head of the FDIC comes out to explain not to worry about deposits, you had better start worrying about your deposits. After multiple $2 Trillion dollar payouts, what exactly are they going to protect your deposits with? It is not an OMG moment to recognize the absolute insanity of the present time and try to relay that to people who read this blog, the people I actually care about.

I have not batted an eye at any of this, yet. This is the apocalyptic event we have all been prepping for over the past decade. I have a plan and a strategy and if the bank accounts went to zero tomorrow, I have a plan. If the power goes out, I have a plan. If the water stops running, I have a plan. If they shut down movement from one place to another, I have a plan. More importantly, however, the purpose of 12 Round Enterprises, is to have a plan for after that to counter the communists who intend to sweep in and take control during the chaos, largely through media narratives, propaganda and bullying tactics, you know, the way they govern. It may very likely be in an apocalyptic landscape where the means of communication are limited and compromised, but can be commandeered and pirated if necessary.

Is The Coronavirus Causing The Great Depression 2.0?

In the past two weeks, 10 million Americans have already filed for unemployment. Moody’s is now warning that 30% of all mortages could go into default this year.

And the peak of the coronavirus outbreak in the US still isn’t projected to arrive for several more weeks. How bad will the economic fallout from covid-19 be?

Truly epic. As in possibly “Great Depression 2.0” magnitude. Yes, the clown show in charge of dealing with this mess will likely just make things worse. But the reasons for the dismal economic outlook go far beyond the damage being done right now by the coronavirus.

The global economy was dangerously unstable and unsustainable long before this pandemic started. Covid-19 is simply the trigger to bring the house of cards down. Peak Prosperity has been warning of such an economic breakdown for many years.

Through our Crash Course video series, we’ve laid out exactly what the biggest risks are and why we should have been (and still should be) so concerned. We’ll be surfacing those core deficiencies in upcoming videos, as we are now swiftly moving from the “warning” phase and rushing into the “managing” phase.

Being armed with the information to take appropriate action will become even more important in the days to come.

Store owners boarding up buildings across Manhattan

A growing scene for those who venture out into the streets of Manhattan these days is boarded up storefronts.  From luxury retailers to small bars, establishments that have no idea when they are going to be allowed to reopen are putting up protection over their glass doors and windows.

The businesses have taken the unsightly measure in an effort to defend against the potential for civil unrest caused by the coronavirus and a lack of officers on the streets.

Mayor Bill de Blasio ordered bars and restaurants closed except for takeout service in mid-March.  Most stores were also ordered to shut down.

Now, from Lower Manhattan to the Upper East Side, outlets are boarded up.  At least a few have offered makeshift messages of hope.

March Shatters Monthly Gun Sales Record as U.S. Faces Down Threat of Coronavirus

Gun sales exploded across the United States as the coronavirus pandemic spread, with retailers experiencing the highest sales volume in recorded history.

More than 2.5 million guns were sold in March as fears over the effects of the coronavirus spread, according to an analysis of FBI background check data released Wednesday by Small Arms Analytics and Forecasting (SAAF). The buying craze marked the busiest month on record for gun stores, even as some faced shutdown orders from state and local authorities. The record-setting monthly sales nearly doubled the 1.4 million guns sold in March 2019.

Rep. James Clyburn, Who Touted Coronavirus As ‘Tremendous’ Political Opportunity, to Take Helm of Pandemic Oversight Committee

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) announced the formation of a new coronavirus oversight committee led by House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D., S.C.), who last month said the pandemic gives Democrats “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

The speaker’s announcement on Thursday comes as her caucus plots another relief package, with a national vote-by-mail requirement as a top priority. Pelosi faced criticism in March after stalling the then-proposed stimulus bill in favor of her own version, which included increased fuel emissions standards for airlines, an expansion of wind and solar credits, and vote-by-mail provisions. President Donald Trump called the Democrat’s proposal “crazy.”

Pelosi said Thursday the committee would monitor the billions in federal money spent fighting the virus and would have subpoena power. House Republicans immediately expressed concern over Clyburn’s participation, arguing that his March remarks indicate he is looking to use the pandemic as a pretext to advance Democratic policy goals.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) on Thursday said he is concerned by the choice. “[The committee] is concerning to me because Congressman Clyburn is the one who thought this crisis was an opportune time to restructure government,” McCarthy said in a conference call with reporters. “That’s not what we should be doing.”

And the partisan games continues. There are many videos available showing the mindset of Congressman Clyburn but I will not waste your time. Nancy Pelosi is doing an excellent job at that. In fact, that is the only job in which she is competent.

How We’ll Beat The Coronavirus: EVERYONE Should Wear A Mask

We created this specifically to be easy to watch & easy to share, in order to get this important message out. Do your part to beat the coronavirus by sharing this now!

The most effective step each of us can take right now to beat covid-19 is to start wearing a mask. It’s cheap. It’s easy. And if we call do it, it will give us a HUGE advantage in the fight against this pandemic.

You don’t need a fancy mask. A simple DIY version will suffice. Wearing one does the following:

1) greatly reduces the particles a sick person can spread

2) prevents you from touching your mouth and nose, by far the most common way we can get infected

3) substantially increases your odds of having a mild case, should you get infected If we all wear masks: I protect you, and you protect me. So let’s each start now.

It just makes so much sense.

Murphy authorizes State Police to commandeer medical supplies in coronavirus fight

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed an executive order Thursday authorizing Col. Pat Callahan, the State Police superintendent, to commandeer medical supplies and equipment needed to combat the worsening coronavirus pandemic.

The order, which Murphy announced during his daily briefing in Trenton, comes as hospitals throughout New Jersey are facing severe shortages in personal protective equipment, such as N95 masks and face shields, that the state’s overburdened health care workers desperately need.

While the state has received PPE from the federal stockpile and through corporate donations, Murphy has said it’s only been a fraction of what’s necessary. During Wednesday’s briefing, the governor said state has sourced around 10 million pieces of PPE at its own at a cost of “tens and tens of millions of dollars.”
