Get Used to It

When I ordered this UV-C light last week, Amazon was limiting the quantity to 1. While this is now “currently unavailable”, note the wording:

Currently unavailable.
We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.

We will be seeing this notice everywhere in the future. While I never took advantage of a bad situation to benefit me financially, the country must consider rebuilding our manufacturing base. We have no other options but to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and ensure our economy is reliant only on us.

DOES THE ATF HAVE A LIST OF GUNS THAT YOU OWN?

Gun Owners of America

Is your local gun dealer helping ATF to compile a firearms registry?

Last month several Gun Owners of America staff members attended the SHOT Show to deliver our “no compromise” message to the firearms industry. It is an exciting time at GOA as we build relationships with some of the best names in the industry. Watch our Partners Page grow over the coming weeks and months.

I have not attended SHOT Show in many years and wow, I certainly learned a lot.

There were many new guns to check out. Twenty first century gun buyers seem to have an unlimited amount of quality firearms to choose from. Many of the new models were designed using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software which enables engineers to save time and development costs. This is a good thing — it allows for a very short time interval between a concept or idea for a firearm. And when these modern designs are manufactured and begin to appear on gun dealer’s shelves, it gives gun buyers a multitude of choices. Choice in guns is a good thing.

Phil Haney, DHS whistleblower, & author of “See Something, Say Nothing” has been assassinated.
The mainstream media will say it was “suicide” if they mention it at all. He was found dead after missing for two days with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was due to get married in a month and said that he knew “something might happen to me”.
Dee and I were honored to have known him & interview him back in July 2016 a month after the release of his book. This is the podcast of our interview with him. Phil Haney comes on at the 1-hour mark.

The Hour of Unusual Threat
By John Piper

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. (1 Peter 4:14)

Many Christians in the world today do not know the life-threatening danger that comes with believing in Christ. We have gotten used to being free from such persecution. It seems like the way things must be.

So, our first reaction to the threat that things might be otherwise is often anger. But that anger may be a sign that we have lost our sense of being sojourners and exiles (“Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles . . .” 1 Peter 2:11).

Perhaps we have settled too much into this world. We don’t feel as homesick for Christ as Paul did: “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20).

Many of us need the reminder, “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you” (1 Peter 4:12). It isn’t strange.

Have you ever wondered how you will do in the hour of final trial? The gunman has you in his sights and asks, “Are you a Christian?” Here is a strong word to give you hope that you may do better than you think.

Peter says, “If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you” (1 Peter 4:14). This encouragement from Peter says that in the hour of unusual threat (whether insult or death) there will be “a Spirit of glory and of God resting on us.” Doesn’t that mean that God gives special help in the hour of crisis to those who suffer because they are Christians?

I don’t mean he is absent from our other sufferings. I just mean that Peter went out of his way to say that those who suffer “for the name of Christ” will experience a special “resting” on them of “the Spirit of glory and of God.”

Pray that this would be your experience when the trial comes. There will be resources of endurance in that moment that we do not have any other time. Take heart.

From A Doc On The WuFlu

With the caveat noted:

Below is the email I sent to my family earlier today. They aren’t as up on current events so there is some background that may be redundant for your readers.

There is a tremendous amount of uncertainty surrounding this entire situation. So take this with whatever sized grain of salt you deem appropriate.

Subject: COVID-19

So, the Wuhan coronavirus.

COVID-19, it’s now called. This particular virus originated with bats (although some argue that a bioweapons lab was involved), then combined with a prior dangerous human virus and crossed over to humans.

It’s spread by “airborne” transmission, meaning droplets small enough to float in the air for several hours. All airborne diseases are very contagious, and this is no exception. It’s spread exponentially in China and has shut down a substantial fraction of that country, with 400 million people in quarantine.

Trump was ‘furious’ that 14 Americans infected with coronavirus boarded a plane back to the US from Japan without his permission, which officials admit was a ‘big mistake’

President Donald Trump is reportedly furious after underlings at the State Department decided to fly 14 Diamond Princess passengers who tested positive for coronavirus back to the U.S. without telling him, and against his wishes.

Trump had been told last Saturday that only evacuees who didn’t have symptoms or positive test results would be allowed on State Department charter planes back to the US from Japan, according to the Washington Post.

Officials on the ground realized late in the evacuation process, on the airport tarmac in Tokyo, that 14 of the roughly 350 evacuees had tested positive for the virus.

State Department underlings made the quick decision to allow the infected citizens onto the flights, but separated from the other passengers within portable bio-containment units that were already on the planes, in case passengers showed symptoms during the flight.

‘It’s important to remember this was an emerging and unusual circumstance,’ said Ian Brownlee, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Consular Affairs.

‘We had 328 people on buses, a plan to execute and we received lab results on people who were otherwise asymptomatic, un-ill people on a bus on the way to the airport.

‘The people on the ground did exactly the right thing…in bringing them home.’

Democrat Goes to Trump Rally and Realizes Dems Are SCREWED in 2020

The Government Has Lost Control of COVID-19

Image result for self quarantine

Consider this: California is asking 7,600 people to self-quarantine themselves. Does this mean they are acknowledging that they do not have the resources in place to address this pandemic? And if that is the case, should we put ourselves under self-quarantine until COVID-19 burns itself out?

The question of self-quarantine is now an “if” based on what little information we get from the CDC. I believe the time frame for self-quarantine will become self-evident anytime within the next few weeks based on what is happening in Italy and South Korea.

Here are some considerations based on information that we know. From the Disaster Princess, we know that people can be asymptomatic for 30 days (and possibly longer). Since people were still eating their meals in large concentrations in the cruise ship’s buffet after the outbreak occurred, I believe 30 days is a reasonable time frame for the asymptomatic phase.

Based on the information of confirmed cases worldwide versus the number of recovered people, the best guess for onset of symptoms and recovery is 14 days (but probably longer). This time frame will become clearer based on information from Japan, South Korea and Italy. The third period to be considered is how long a person is infectious after “recovery”. If we consider a normal coronavirus infection, that is another 14 days. That means a self-quarantine period of roughly two months to ensure that you are not going to get infected by someone else if you want to be safe. If you develop symptoms, then you probably can assume one month before you are not contagious.

However, any of your caretakers will be under a 30 period from their last exposure to ensure that they have not become symptomatic. Since the government is lying to us concerning this pandemic, how can we determine when the virus has burned itself out and it is safe to come out after a self-quarantine? This is an important question that you must ask yourself now because you will need to cover your food, medical and other necessities for that period of time. And time is running out for buying supplies. Also ask why the government is still saying a 14 day quarantine period is acceptable?

My minimum estimate is ninety days. Sixty days to ensure you do not have it and another thirty days just to be sure no one in your area is contagious. And that is a very optimistic assessment. The world’s economy will not be able to withstand even a thirty day period under these conditions but at least we will be alive.

I submit that some actions are prudent now. Restaurants, meetings and movie theaters are all off of our list. Gas stations are relatively safe since human interaction can easily be eliminated – wear gloves or wash your hands after pumping to be safe. For us, that leaves work and food shopping. We have contingency plans in place now to eliminate these issues.

California Tells 7,600 People To Self-Quarantine Over Concern Of Coronavirus Spread

People in California who have recently returned from visiting China are being asked to stay home for the rest of the month to help stop the spread of the new coronavirus.

The California Department of Public Health said Friday that 7,600 people have been urged to self-quarantine: stay home, monitor their health and limit interaction with other people.

The figure does not include those who visited the China’s Hubei province region where the virus is thought to have originated, as those travelers have flown on charter flights and been quarantined on U.S. military bases, including Travis Air Force base in Fairfield.

The self-quarantine directive applies to travelers returning to the U.S. on or after February 2.

The U.S. is funneling travelers from China to 11 airports, including San Francisco International Airport, to ensure they get medical screening and medical care. At least 34 people in the U.S. have tested positive for the virus, including 18 who returned home from a quarantined cruise ship in Japan, the Centers for Disease Control said during a conference call with reporters Friday.

CORONAVIRUS Federal judge blocks effort to transfer coronavirus patients to California city

The plan was to move dozens of patients who tested positive for the coronavirus from Travis Air Force Base in Northern California to Costa Mesa.

A federal court blocked efforts Friday night to transfer dozens of patients who tested positive for the coronavirus from Travis Air Force Base in Northern California to an empty building in Southern California.

U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton granted a temporary restraining order after the city of Costa Mesa filed a request for an injunction earlier in the day. Named as defendants were the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and the California Department of General Services.

An expedited hearing is scheduled Monday in Santa Ana, California.

City officials said they were made aware of plans Thursday evening by regional representatives from state and local health agencies to transfer 30 to 50 patients to a building there. The patients would have arrived as early as Sunday, according to the court filing.

So the simple questions are:

  1. Why is the government not reporting the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in the United States? The above story proves that they are lying about the true situation here.
  2. How many other “bases” of infected are in the country?
  3. Why is the CDC not investigating people unless they were in China or had contact with someone who was in China recently? In other words, why are they not investigating endemic cases here?
  4. With the massive outbreaks in South Korea, Iran and Italy in a very short time frame, is it possible that the outbreak is being spread on purpose?
  5. Why do only 3 states (California, Illinois and Nebraska) have kits to test for COVID-19?
  6. Does the government have a gag order on medical staff concerning this outbreak here?
  7. Are our universities infected by the Chinese students who returned to the United States for the spring semester?
  8. Is this the week that the supply chain breaks completely?
  9. Is this the week that the stock market crashes?
  10. Is this the week that mandatory quarantines are implemented here?

Coronavirus Cases Doubling Overnight In Many Countries

Covid-19 cases are leaping higher in disparate countries around the globe — doubling overnight in South Korea, Italy and Iran.

New research continues to clarifying how *extremely* contagious this virus is (as the rash of worldwide infections confirms). It increasingly looks like the only hope countries have of containing covid-19 is to use the draconian mass quarantine efforts that China is enforcing on its populace.

Don’t assume that can’t happen where you live. It may be the only alternative for your government to pursue, which is why preparing now for self-isolation/home quarantine is extremely prudent.

Lady Justice Spurns Her Blinders For Trump Associates

People like Justice Amy Berman Jackson, who claim to hold the greatest devotion to our institutions, who purport to cherish the rule of law above all else, are the ones responsible for systematically demolishing it all.

The claim sounded like something from Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) or Rachel Maddow or any number of Russian collusion propagandists:

“He was not prosecuted for standing up for the president. He was prosecuted for covering up for the president.”

Those words, however, were not uttered on MSNBC but rather in a federal courtroom by Amy Berman Jackson, a U.S. district court judge seated in the nation’s capital, whose job is to ensure the fair administration of justice based on the rule of law.

The “he” Jackson was referring to is Roger Stone, a Trump confidant; the “president,” of course, is Donald Trump.

Now, Stone wasn’t charged with covering up for the president nor did the indictment against him suggest as much. There was nothing to “cover up” as election collusion is a fantasy concocted by the Democrats and the news media. But the Obama-appointee was on a roll; facts, at that point, didn’t matter to Jackson. (In a tweet Thursday morning, Schiff echoed Jackson’s evidence-free remark, claiming Stone “did it to cover up for Trump.”)

Her absurd and blatantly political accusation from the bench was just part of Jackson’s 40-minute monologue Thursday morning prior to sentencing Stone to 40 months in prison for lying to Congress, obstructing justice, and witness tampering. (The loquacious judge doesn’t like competition; she put a gag order on Stone last year that is still in effect.)

The president and his supporters can hardly tolerate lectures about fairness when Trump foes such as Andrew McCabe, James Comey, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and others continue to escape justice for far worse crimes.

Further, unlike Stone, those offenders held positions of power and influence—and abused both in service of achieving their mutual goal that Jackson so dramatically endorsed today: The sabotage of Donald Trump and anyone associated with him.

The people, like Jackson, who claim to hold the greatest devotion to our institutions, who purport to cherish the rule of law above all else, are the ones responsible for systematically demolishing it all.

And So It Starts

https://twitter.com/ladyandtheT/status/1231191098711846912

It appears that a large majority people do not understand the consequences of a pandemic. No need to spend time trying to instill sapience in people. Let’s make it simple: the world’s supply chain is broken and the bankrupt fiat money system is coming to an end. See here for an article on how COVID-19 will lead to a return to a gold and silver standard.

This upcoming week will show how fragile our just in time inventory system is.

As an example:

TruPrep Inventory Status Update

If you have been by the store lately, you may have noticed our stock of food and protective gear (masks, etc) have been getting very low.  Due to Coronavirus concerns, we have had a run on food and items like masks and suits.  We have recently restocked both fully this week, but they are already running low again.  While we have standing orders for food in the pipeline and will restock regularly, we don’t expect to be able to obtain any more protective gear once what we have on hand runs out.  All of our normal suppliers of protective gear are currently out and we are told it will be at least 3 months before we are able to restock once our current supply runs out.

What will you do when the banks close as shown above in China? What will you do when the people realize the supply chain is broken and the shelves are emptied overnight? What will you do when your employer lays you off because they have nothing to sell, serve or no market since the monetary system is locked up?

We are facing a brave new world. How we cope and adapt to this new paradigm will measure our faith in the Lord’s plan for us.

Enjoying His Fullness
By John Piper

From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. (John 1:16)

Just before the service last Sunday, the little band of praying saints was hard at work fighting for the faith of our people, and for the churches of the Twin Cities, and for the nations, as they prayed. At one point one man prayed the words of John 1:14, 16:

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. . . . For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

It was one of those epiphany moments for me. God granted in that moment that the word “fullness” — from his fullness — carry a fullness that was extraordinary in its effect on me. I felt some measure of what the word really carries — the fullness of Christ.

I felt some of the wonder that, yes, I had indeed received grace upon grace from this fullness. And I was at that moment receiving grace upon grace. I felt right then that nothing would have been sweeter than to simply sit at his feet — or read my Bible — all afternoon and feel his fullness overflow.

Why did this fullness have such an impact on me — and why is it still to this moment affecting me unusually? In part because . . .

  • . . . the one from whose fullness I am being drenched with grace is the Wordthat was with God and was God (John 1:1–2), so that his fullness is the fullness of God — a divine fullness, an infinite fullness;
  • . . . this Word became flesh, and so was one of us, and was pursuing us with his fullness — it is an accessible fullness;
  • . . . when this Word appeared in human form, his glory was seen — his is a glorious fullness;
  • . . . this Word was “the only Son from the Father” (John 1:14) so that the divine fullness was being mediated to me not just from God, but through God — God did not send an angel but his only Son to deliver his fullness;
  • . . . the fullness of the Son is a fullness of grace — I will not drown in this fullness but be blessed in every way by this fullness;
  • . . . this fullness is not only a fullness of grace but of truth — I am not being graced with truth-ignoring flattery; this grace is rooted in rock-solid reality.

Is it any wonder, then, that I would feel astonished and full of joy at the fullness of Christ!
