If you think we can still vote our way out of the mess our country is in, you can stop reading now.

For the rest of you, I have some questions.

1. How many friends do you have that you would trust with your life? Who can keep a secret? Who is willing to do some heavy lifting?
2. How many friends do you have that you would trust with your family’s life?
3. How many of you can support yourself and your family for let’s say 6 months to a year if the SHTF?
4. How many of you are physically fit?
5. What will it take for you to fight and protect your Family from the Tyranny that is here and growing?
6. Why don’t people value Freedom?

I don’t want a war, no one does. I don’t want to lose my country either. It is not us that wants to start this war, it’s the leftist, the communist, our domestic enemies. They aim to rule over us, or exterminate us.

I don’t know what the triggering event will be. But every day that passes is another day that our chains get tighter.

How about all the numerous stories of the waste of our taxpayers dollars? How’s that voting working out for you?

How about the utter destruction of the Rule of Law? The Deep State continues to walk free even though we have all seen the evidence of their crimes. How’s that voting working out for you?

The trouble with us independent free thinkers is that we tend to have a wide and diverse set of conditions upon which we will act, making cooperative action nearly impossible. Some of us will not act at all. Some will act too soon and simply become a martyr without a discernible cause. But, we have to start somewhere, sometime…don’t we?

Most men have no purpose but to exist. They aim to pass quietly through history as minor characters upon a stage they cannot even see. To be the playthings of tyrants. I believe those of us in this movement were born to fight tyranny.

We all know something is wrong in our Country. We all know there is a fight coming.

We all believe we are on the right side of history.

The Democrats have ripped their mask away for all to see.

Communism is pure evil.

This is what we have all been preparing for.

Liberty is not just handed to you, you have to fight for it.

Maybe we hesitate because we aren’t sure of what will come out the other side. Maybe we aren’t sure what we are actually fighting for.

If we listen close enough maybe we can hear the answer to our many questions.

Maybe all that is required is a Leap of Faith.

Update (0816ET): Hubei has reported 317 new cases as of noon Thursday localtime, according to local Party Secretary Jiang Chaoliang. Hubei is the province at the epicenter of the outbreak: the virus orginated in the province’s capital, Wuhan. The most recent count put the number of confirmed cases at 7,921 and the death toll steady at 170.

Hong Kong is reportedly struggling with a shortage of face masks. Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung said the government had bought 13 million masks, but public hospitals have been using 5x to 6x as many as normal. Hong Kong is stepping up local production at correctional facilities to keep up with demand, and another 24 million should be available at retail outlets soon.

Prevailing Grace

“I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners.” (Isaiah 57:18)

Learn your doctrine from biblical texts. It stands up better that way, and feeds the soul. 

For example, learn the doctrine of irresistible grace from texts. In this way, you will see that it does not mean grace cannot be resisted; it means that when God chooses, he can and will overcome that resistance.

In Isaiah 57:17–19, for instance, God chastises his rebellious people by striking them and hiding his face: “Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry, I struck him; I hid my face and was angry” (verse 17).

But they did not respond with repentance. Rather, they kept backsliding. They resisted: “But he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart” (verse 17).

So grace can be resisted. In fact, Stephen said to the Jewish leaders, “You always resist the Holy Spirit” (Acts 7:51).

What then does God do? Is he powerless to bring those who resist to repentance and wholeness? No. He is not powerless. The next verse says, “I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners” (Isaiah 57:18).

So, in the face of recalcitrant, grace-resisting backsliding, God says, “I will heal him.” He will “restore.” The word for “restore” is to “make whole or complete.” It is related to the word shalom, “peace.” That wholeness and peace is mentioned in the next verse which explains how God turns around a grace-resisting backslider.

He does it by “‘creating the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace (shalom, shalom), to the far and to the near,’ says the Lord, ‘and I will heal him’” (Isaiah 57:19). God creates what is not there — peace, wholeness. This is how we are saved. And this is how we are brought back from backsliding — again and again. 

The grace of God triumphs over our resistance by creating praise where it did not exist. He brings shalom, shalom to the near and the far. Wholeness, wholeness to the near and the far. He does it by “restoring,” that is, replacing the disease of resistance with the soundness of submission.

The point of irresistible grace is not that we can’t resist. We can, and we do. The point is that when God chooses, he overcomes our resistance and restores a submissive spirit. He creates. He says, “Let there be light!” He heals. He leads. He restores. He comforts.

Therefore, we never boast that we have returned from backsliding. We fall on our faces before the Lord and with trembling joy thank him for his irresistible grace that conquered all our resistance.

Planned Parenthood reports rise in government funding, record number of abortions

A new report from Planned Parenthood shows an increase in government funding during its most recent fiscal cycle and a record number of abortions at its clinics, even as the national abortion rate declines.

The reproductive health nonprofit posted its annual report over the weekend, culminating a year punctuated by legal fights, leadership departures and legislative action, with conservative states aiming to restrict abortion and liberal states seeking to preserve it.

The last year kept the organization busy, with legal filings to stop pro-life legislation in more than a dozen states and the board-encouraged departure of President Dr. Leana Wen in July.

But the annual report reveals that Planned Parenthood performed 345,672 abortions from October 2017 to October 2018 — more than in any previous year.

And financial records show the nonprofit received more taxpayer dollars in the fiscal year ending last June than ever before ($617 million) through Medicaid and other health service program reimbursements and grants, constituting 37% of its overall revenue.

“The nation’s number one abortion vendor broke all previous records in taking money from taxpayers this year,” *Kristan Hawkins, president for Students for Life of America, said in a written statement.
