Thought for Memorial Day

I personally thank our servicemen and servicewomen for the sacrifice they endure for protecting our country. However, Memorial Day is a day to remember our fallen soldiers. I pray that this country would appreciate what “giving all” really means as they enjoy another day of freedom.

Verizon Unlimited Speedtest

Here is the speedtest of our Internet using “Verizon Unlimited”. Although the service is advertised as unlimited access, after 10GB in a monthly period, Verizon “may” decrease your speed. We were not close to reaching our limit when this speedtest was run.

Training Center Dedication

The new training center was dedicated today, May 27, 2017 by Pastor Ross Kight. I was reminded about this Chinese proverb yesterday:

Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime

The Lord has given us the opportunity to provide a training facility for our community. It is up to the community to decide how they will feed themselves.

History As Will Be Written

Image result for reconstruction act of 1867

From an article on Zerohedge.com:

As the American Revolution was followed by calm, as the Civil War was followed by reconstruction and a gilded age, and as the Great Depression and World War II were followed by an age of peace and prosperity, so too will this crisis period be followed by a calm, stable era.

This is the history as written by the victors and taught to our children. Complete subjugation is now considered to be “a calm, stable era”. And this will be the same historical conclusion when Liberty and our Natural Law rights are lost to the dim recesses in the minds of a few old patriots.

Why Bother? by Robert Gore

The best strategy for dealing with crazies is to keep your distance.

You try to ignore the ravings of the paranoid lunatic on a street corner, but if he’s waving a gun, you can’t.  He may kill himself, but he may kill you. Protecting yourself is your first consideration. You want to get as far as possible from him.

As an intellectual exercise, imagine how the Chinese and Russian leadership look at the United States, its government, and those of its allies. It will get you labeled as a “sympathizer” or “agent,” but take the risk and try seeing the world through their eyes:

We hear the Americans raving about the exceptional and indispensable nation, the American imperium, and maintaining world order. What other conclusion can be drawn: like many lunatics, the US suffers from delusions of grandeur. As we know, it’s difficult to maintain order in one country, and the US wants to take on the whole world? They’re having a tough time maintaining order in the US. Half the country hates the other half, and many of their experts warn of civil unrest that could be ignited with the smallest of sparks. Take it from us, spark suppression is a full-time job in big countries with many people and few common interests, even those with powerful, intrusive governments like the US.

Yellow Dog Republicans

Image result for yellow dog voter definition

Greg Gianforte won the Montana election. In the best example yet of voting for the lesser of two evils, people elected a man who physically attacked a reporter for asking a valid question about Trumpcare. This election shows the level of disdain that the American people have for Democrats and the Democrat party.

But at what cost? Has most of the country (geographically speaking) become yellow dog Republican? I would lament this election further except that I believe Mr. Gianforte will fit into Washington, D.C. quite well.

Republican Gianforte Wins Montana Special Election Despite Assault Charge

Political pundits were closely watching last night’s special election in Montana for two reasons: to see if there is an anti-Trump sentiment shift in this hard-line republican state, and whether the “body slamming” scandal that sent shockwaves just one day prior would cost Republican frontrunner Greg Gianforte the election.

Throttled by Verizon

Image result for verizon sucks

I have moved my business to the new training center and the open house is this Saturday, May 27th at 11:30 AM. There were some kinks and some bright spots to get to this point. There was one area in our infrastructure which I was very pleased with initially: phone and Internet access. We did some research and setup a Verizon hot spot for Internet access at home and the office. The hook was twofold: unlimited Internet access and a faster connection than DSL.

But then everyone knows what is coming next. Imagine our surprise at getting 12.9 Mbits instead of 1.5 Mbits with the new system. Until the fine print kicked in at 10 GB and we were throttled down to 1.5 Mbits pending the next 30 day cycle. Verizon’s response was typical: they are working on it.

Multiple emails later with no response has led to the next cycle where I was expecting 12.9 Mbits again for a period of time. However, the new speedtest is now 0.4 Mbits. At least I do not have to worry about the 10 Gbit cutoff since our new “Internet access” has effectively throttled us.

Why would anyone could support tyranny over personal freedom?

Image result for thomas jefferson judicial activism

From Joe P

There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.”
— James Madison, Speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention [June 16, 1788]

…the opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what not, not only for themselves in their own sphere of action but for the Legislature and Executive also in their spheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch.”
— Thomas Jefferson

As I witness the ongoing leftist opposition and media bias against individual freedom, I realize how wise were those who drafted our constitution. All governments move toward total control. Given history, I am at a loss to explain why anyone could support tyranny over personal freedom. History does show us, however, that Big Government generally prevails and promptly destroys those who have helped them achieve control.

Rand Paul To Force Vote On Massive Saudi Arms Deal, Warns Sales Would Drag US Into Yemen War

Sen. Rand Paul (R – KY) intends to force a vote in the Senate on the record US arms sales to Saudi Arabia, a deal which the Trump Administration has estimated will be worth some $350 billion over the decade.

I know that this country was not founded upon arming other countries for death and destruction. Trump is touting the success of the Saudi arms deal as “jobs, jobs, jobs”. Just like the “jobs” at Planned Parenthood. Do you think the Lord will count a job measured in deaths as a “good work”?

Once Again, It Deserves to Be Said

There can be no denial that islam is ultimately and irredeemably evil, and that those who embrace it intend to destroy every last shred of Western Society.  There is only ONE legitimate response to such an existential threat – go on the offensive and destroy the threat…totally.

As I have been saying for well over a decade now, the one legitimate and effective response is to go on the offense against islam. Period.

Kill every last muslim,
Burn every last copy of their satanic book.
Burn every last mosque to the ground.
Burn every last dwelling they have occupied,
And wherever you must burn,
Salt the ground heavily.

MAKE NO EXCEPTIONS
TAKE NO EXCUSES

We can start by nuking Mecca and Medina immediately, with the promise that *any* further act of jihad, no matter how small or remote the target, will result in the nuclear annihilation of the 10 largest muslim-majority cities worldwide.  That warning would serve as sufficient notice for any non-muslims who are paying attention to leave those cities, immediately.  Those who remain will have chosen their allies, and thus their fate.  So be it.

To this end, we should provision as many of our naval ships as possible with nuclear armed cruise-missiles, and should put our entire strategic aviation fleet on hot standby to deliver our highest-yield hydrogen bombs to the larger and more deserving targets, with alacrity.

The American citizenry financed those ships, bombers, missiles, and warheads, with the entire face value of our society, upon the promise that those weapons would be used to protect us from such existential threats –
it’s about time we got some return on our investment.

Until we buck up and start treating all of islam at least as harshly as we treated the Nazis during WWII, we’re not even trying to solve the problem.  Only those in the habit of lying to themselves could possibly deny this plain fact, at this late date.

WE HAVE BEEN WARNED

The republic has fallen to fascism with a smile

This article’s title comes from John Whitehead’s piece below. It does not matter what you call the reason for the collapse of the Republic. It does matter what you will do in this new paradigm. No matter how you label it, Liberty has been replaced with slavery.

The Republic Has Fallen: The Deep State’s Plot to Take Over America Has Succeeded

No doubt about it.

The coup d’etat has been successful.

The Deep State—a.k.a. the police state a.k.a. the military industrial complex—has taken over.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enter Donald Trump, the candidate who swore to drain the swamp in Washington DC.
Instead of putting an end to the corruption, however, Trump has paved the way for lobbyists, corporations, the military industrial complex, and the Deep State to feast on the carcass of the dying American republic.
Just recently, for instance, Trump agreed to sell Saudi Arabia more than $110 billion in military weapons.
A New Label to Deflect the Truth
The president has labelled Islamic terrorists as “losers”. Labels are used to deflect the truth: the true evil is Islam. This is another justification by the West to appease. If the Western leaders called hardened jihadists “losers”, do you think they will take a timeout in a safe zone?
Another Day, Another Attack
The current death count in Manchester is 22.
It appears the world is now sensitized to Islamic terrorism. World leaders condemn the terror publicly while endorsing it privately for their own political gain.
15 of the 19 hijackers in the 911 attacks were Saudi Arabian nationals.
The Saudi government aided the terrorists. It took an act of Congress and a Congressional override of Obama’s veto to allow the victims of 911 to sue the Saudi government on Sept. 28, 2016. Do you remember the national outrage against Obama’s support of Saudi sponsored terrorism in the United States?
Trump is celebrated for “signing a joint strategic vision that includes $110 billion in American arms sales and other new investments [in Saudi Arabia] that the administration said would bring hundreds of thousands of jobs”.
The people continue to get the government that they deserve.
Trump signs ‘tremendous’ deals with Saudi Arabia on his first day overseas
President Trump made a splashy debut on the world stage here Saturday, ushering in a new era in U.S.-Saudi Arabian relations by signing a joint “strategic vision” that includes $110 billion in American arms sales and other new investments that the administration said would bring hundreds of thousands of jobs.
“It was a great day,” Trump said. He cited “tremendous investments in the United States . . . and jobs, jobs, jobs.”
