NC Renegades

This year, Obama will give us 100,000 Muslims “refugees” for Christmas. And yet the topic of discussion at work on Monday morning will revolve around Sunday’s football games. But those of us at “work” are now the minority in the country. I do not count our masters (federal and quasi-federal employees) as part of any productive workforce contributing to building a future for our children.

Anyone care to argue this point?

Liberals are in a celebratory mood following last week’s appearance of Hillary Clinton before a special committee investigating the details of American deaths in Benghazi. Hillary is being declared “the winner” of the marathon session, not because she isn’t responsible for gross negligence, professional incompetence, and quite likely criminal actions – but because she’s going to get away with it.

In Liberal-land, there is no crime unless you’re caught and convicted. This is true whether you’re the IRS’s Lois Lerner (who has officially been let off the hook for obstructing the first amendment rights of conservatives, conspiracy, and destruction of evidence), infamous “Fast and Furious”gun-runner Eric Holder, or the ghoulish officials from Planned Parenthood who were caught negotiating the price (and enjoying the texture) of fetal organs on video.

There will be no charges against former IRS official Lois Lerner or anyone else at the agency, the Justice Department said in a letter.

The probe found “substantial evidence of mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia leading to the belief by many tax-exempt applicants that the IRS targeted them based on their political viewpoints. But poor management is not a crime,” Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik said in the letter.

The IRS scandal exploded in May 2013 when Lerner answered a planted question at an American Bar Association event and apologized for inappropriately scrutinizing some groups applying for a tax exemption. Her response fueled a full-on scandal within hours that shook the Obama administration. Congressional hearings were held within weeks and the interim leader of the IRS was forced from office.

The same conclusion will be reached on the Benghazi hearings: Hillary will not only walk, she will become the Democrat party nominee for President.

I can’t believe I actually have to write this article… and I’m deeply disappointed that no one else has. Where are all the other adults? I don’t want to wade into Internet crapstorms; I have better things to do with my time.

But there is disease in the liberty movement, and if no one else will call it out, I guess I’ll have to. So be it.

Old poisons are flooding back into the broader liberty movement, being sold with new packaging. And they’re leading ‘anti-state’ people right back into the swamps of political obsession and plain old hate. The more you suck it up, the more you’ll slide right back into the stinking pits of politics and mingle your life with all the venom and degeneracy it produces.

Welcome back to the Matrix, Mr. Libertarian.

The Obsession

I just checked a popular liberty website, and of the 50 stories linked, 14 had titles like these:

“Israel’s Friday Bloodbath”

“Ethnic Cleansing and Zionist Supremacy in Israel”

“Israelis Are Today’s Nazis”

This is simply obsession. Articles like these are the seeds from which poisoned fruit grows. Don’t believe me? Then maybe you won’t want to read some of the comments this post will generate.

Israel is a state, and we hold all states as morally inferior, do we not? So, why the obsession with just this one? Where are the breathless horror stories from Belarus? Where are the brave investigations of Turkmenistan? Where’s the in-depth analysis of Uzbekistan, or Burma, or the Congo. Why do none of those places matter?

The answer becomes obvious soon enough: Those places don’t generate the right kinds of passions. And if you keep reading these obsessive stories, you’ll absorb their slogans and take their rationalizations into your mind.
