Greece Says That It Will Default On June 5th, And Moody’s Warns Of A ‘Deposit Freeze’

Greece Euro - Public DomainThe Greek government says that a “moment of truth” is coming on June 5th.  Either their lenders agree to give them more money by that date, or Greece will default on a 300 million euro loan payment to the IMF.  Of course it won’t technically be a “default” according to IMF rules for another 30 days after that, but without a doubt news that Greece cannot pay will send shockwaves throughout the financial world.  At that point, those holding Greek bonds will start to panic as they realize that they might not get paid as well.  All over Europe, there are major banks that are holding large amounts of Greek debt and derivatives that are related to the performance of Greek debt.  If something is not done to avert disaster at the last moment, a default by Greece could be the spark that sets off a major European financial crisis this summer.

As I discussed the other day, neither the EU nor the IMF have given any money to Greece since August 2014.  So now the Greek government is just about out of money, and without any new loans they will not be able to pay back the old loans that are coming due.  In fact, things are so bad at this point that the Greek government is openly warning that it will default on June 5th

More Obamacare Consequences?

Trust the government with your personal health and financial data.

After all, what could go wrong?

bad-doctor-Obama

( USA Today ) As many as 1.1 million Washington D.C. BlueCross BlueShield members may have had their information accessed in a cyberbreach that occurred in June of 2014.

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield announced Wednesday it had been the target of a “sophisticated cyberattack,” the company said in a release.

The attackers could have potentially acquired members’ names, birth dates, email addresses and subscriber identification numbers.

This breach happened a year ago, and is just finally being disclosed.

Which begs the question, what about all the other security breaches which we haven’t yet heard about, or which they will elect never to inform us of?

Citizen Legislative Action Day in Raleigh

Concerned Citizens and Immigration Reformers,

NC Listen, NCFIRE, Moore Tea Citizens, NC Voter Integrity Project and members of Forsyth Constitutional Patriots will have an “action day” at the North Carolina General Assembly on 27 May and WE NEED YOUR help for a couple of hours.  We will have handouts for you and let you know what to do……..

Our purposes are:

  1. to STOP NC House Bill 328, a bill to give legal driver’s permits to illegal immigrants,
  2. to promote NC House Bill 318- a bill to protect jobs for citizens, not illegal immigrants, and
  3. to promote HB100 which would allow access to names of people who have been excused from jury duty, because they are NOT a citizen of the USA, so that those names can be compared to the NC voter rolls for removal!

DON’T ASSUME SOMEONE ELSE WILL DO THIS……WE NEED YOU.

The last time illegals got driver’s permits in North Carolina, illegals from all over the nation came to North Carolina. The number of illegals in North Carolina increased from 30,000 to over 300,000.

If we do it again we will be the only state in the southeast to give legal driving privileges to illegals and become, yet again, a magnet. What do you think this will do to our state budget…….guess who will pay the bill for government services to more illegals……that’s right…..you.  And any state-issued ID and driver’s permit will make it easier for illegals to Vote.

We also support NC Senate Bill SB 694 which passed the NC Senate and is now in the NC House and this bill goes after scofflaws who hire illegal immigrants and don’t pay Worker’s Comp insurance.

We need to contact State Legislators in person in Raleigh at the NC General Assembly.

Plan to come to Raleigh on Wednesday, May 27th @ 10am at the NC General Assembly Building (16 West Jones Street) in Raleigh.  We’ll meet in the southwest court, a public area to the left as you walk in the front door of the General Assembly building off of Jones Street.

We need a significant showing.  We will visit offices of the NC Senate and NC House. We will have handouts, let you know which offices to visit, and let you know what to do. Small groups of us will spread out to accomplish this. It’s worked in the past.

Reply to Ron Woodard (rwoodard@nclisten.com) and let him know you are coming.

Thank you for your support!

Judicial Watch: Defense, State Department Documents Reveal Obama Administration Knew that al Qaeda Terrorists Had Planned Benghazi Attack 10 Days in Advance

Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained more than 100 pages of previously classified “Secret” documents from the Department of Defense (DOD)and the Department of State revealing that DOD almost immediately reported that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was committed by the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR), and had been planned at least 10 days in advance. Rahman is known as the Blind Sheikh, and is serving life in prison for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist acts.  The new documents also provide the first official confirmation that shows the U.S. government was aware of arms shipments from Benghazi to Syria.  The documents also include an August 2012 analysis warning of the rise of ISIS and the predicted failure of the Obama policy of regime change in Syria.

The documents were released in response to a court order in accordance with a May 15, 2014, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against both the DOD and State Department seeking communications between the two agencies and congressional leaders “on matters related to the activities of any agency or department of the U.S. government at the Special Mission Compound and/or classified annex in Benghazi.”

ISLAMIC STATE EXPANDS TO MALAYSIA, INFILTRATES MILITARY

In this undated file image posted on Monday, June 30, 2014, by the Raqqa Media Center of the Islamic State group, a Syrian opposition group, which has been verified and is consistent with other AP reporting, fighters from the Islamic State group parade in Raqqa, north Syria

by Bill Gertz

The Islamic State terror group is expanding operations in Southeast Asia where in Malaysia more than 100 Islamists, including some linked to the military, have been arrested in recent weeks, according to a State Department security report.

“Malaysian authorities have now arrested more than 100 individuals linked to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), including over 30 suspects in March and April alone,” says a May 19 report by the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), a government group that promotes partnership between the State Department and the private sector. The Islamic State terrorist organization is known by three acronyms: IS, ISIS, and ISIL.

The seven-page internal report produced for U.S. corporations abroad is the latest indication that the Obama administration’s strategy against Islamic State is failing. The president has limited U.S. military operations in Syria and Iraq to airstrikes and training for local forces that appear to be struggling in efforts to counter IS forces.

Obama’s Response to ISIS: Climate change ‘serious threat to global security’

President Obama will use a Wednesday speech to highlight his view that climate change is one of the most significant military threats to the United States and the world.
Obama will argue in his address to graduates at the United States Coast Guard Academy that the fight against climate change is a fight for global peace and against the conflicts that lead to war, the White House said in a preview of his remarks.
“I am here today to say that climate change constitutes a serious threat to global security, an immediate risk to our national security, and, make no mistake, it will impact how our military defends our country,” Obama will tell the new Coast Guard officers, according to the White House. “And so we need to act — and we need to act now.”

A White House official said the speech will demonstrate how climate change “poses immediate risks to our national security, contributing to increased natural disasters and resulting in humanitarian crises, and potentially increasing refugee flows and exacerbating conflicts over basic resources like food and water.”

Refugees stranded outside gates of Baghdad; fears of ISIS Trojan Horse

The Daily Mail reported yesterday (hat tip: Kyle) that thousands of Iraqi refugees fleeing Ramadi are now trapped between the ISIS-controlled city and the safety of Baghdad.  (BTW, pundits speculate that Baghdad will fall too.)

Over 20,000 innocent Iraqis are stranded in a deadly no man’s land between ISIS militants in Ramadi and potential safety in Baghdad 60 miles to the east, where they are cruelly being refused entry.

The terror group slaughtered over 500 people over the last few days to seize control of Ramadi – their biggest military victory in over a year – before holding a twisted celebratory parade on its blood-stained streets.

The thousands who were forced from their homes are now living in the open – many without shelter and dwindling aid – in small towns like Amiriyat Fallujah on the outskirts of Baghdad.

Iraq’s military will not allow them to cross the Euphrates river and into the city because it can not confirm they are not ISIS militants, aid agencies in Baghdad have told MailOnline.
