Are They About To Confiscate Money From Bank Accounts In Greece Just Like They Did In Cyprus?

Euros - Public Domain

Do you remember what happened when Cyprus decided to defy the EU?  In the end, the entire banking system of the nation collapsed and money was confiscated from private bank accounts.  Well, the nation of Greece is now approaching a similar endgame.  At this point, the Greek government has not received any money from the EU or the IMF since August 2014.  As you can imagine, that means that Greek government accounts are just about bone dry.  The new Greek government continues to insist that it will never “violate its anti-austerity mandate”, but the screws are tightening.  Right now the unemployment rate in Greece is over 25 percent and the banking system is on the verge of collapse.  It isn’t going to take much to set off a panic, and when it does happen there are already rumors that the EU plans to confiscate money from private bank accounts just like they did in Cyprus.

Throughout this entire multi-year crisis, things have never been this dire for the Greek government.  In fact, Greece came thisclose to defaulting on a loan payment to the IMF back on May 12th.  And with essentially no money remaining at all, the Greek government is supposed to make several large payments in the weeks ahead

Police Militarization: Preparation for Economic Collapse, Food Shortages, Civil Unrest and Martial Law

The following is a study I’ve done proving that the active militarization of police dramatically increased after the financial crisis of 2008. The U.S. military’s nationwide Civil Disturbance Operations, Jade Helm and ARSOF Operating Concept are all a cohesive preparation for a forthcoming nationwide economic collapse, civil unrest and martial law due to widespread food shortages and lack of emergency services. It’s all connected, ladies and gentlemen, and I’ll show you how.

For all the holdout naysayers who are still stuck in their cognitive dissonance—those who are still using the throw-away psychopolitical mantra of “conspiracy theory” against everyone else who employs critical analysis and the scientific method to get to the facts—there is no use denying it anymore. You and your ilk are quickly becoming the Minority in the information war.

The Ledger, Lakeland, Florida, Monday, May 11, 2015, "Police Militarization"

The painful truth has again reared its ugly head, at least for me personally in my community on this occasion. My local newspaper of ill repute, a longtime leftist rag of state-sponsored propaganda, The Ledger of Lakeland, Florida, has finally addressed in a recent cover story from May 11, what alternative media, bloggers and independent researchers like myself have been talking about for years: the militarization and weaponization of local and state police departments and county sheriffs offices by the federal government under the 1033 Program.

The headline reads: “POLICE MILITARIZATION.”

As the corporate media are already thoroughly discredited from their own irresponsibility in not reporting the truth, I guess they are desperately trying to save face with their dwindling readers and address what everyone else has been addressing in their absence. They can no longer hide it, as this is THE main topic in the country right now. One can only ignore the elephant in the room for so long.

Are You On the Jade Helm Red List and Will You Know When It’s Time to Run?

When the economy hits the skids, if you have reason to believe you are on the Red List, you best not be where the authorities can find you. Closing banks and economic chaos are signals that you should go into hiding immediately.

If one is targeted, can one avoid detection and evade arrest? The answer is a qualified yes. However, one has to possess detailed knowledge of the technology which could be used to locate you and what counter-surveillance strategies that you would have at your disposal. The good news is that one would not have to remain in hiding for a lengthy time. What we are speaking of here will result in civil war and Red List targets fade in importance with regard to this scenario when the shooting actually begins. Evading arrest will be the topic of Part Two of this series.

Finally, I have never seen a time when so many sources and so many people, in general, possess the same information about what is coming and when. In the Patriot community, by the end of the week, these facts will soon become common knowledge for those who possess the discernment to know when to listen. For most Americans, they will never know what hit them.

FEDERALIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT WOULD REMOVE BULWARK FOR SECOND AMENDMENT

Barack Obama, J. Scott Thomson

The call to federalize law enforcement departments and offices around the country was made more than once after Officer Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in August 2014.

Following that incident, President Obama asked a group of individuals to prepare a study on 21st Century Policing that includes measures by which law enforcement could be federalized.

Not surprisingly, many of the study’s findings and suggestions have nothing to do with the details or evidence surrounding Officer Wilson and Michael Brown but read like a social justice wish list for minorities, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, and protesters who riot in response to half-truths propagated by race-hucksters stirring the pot in Ferguson, New York City, and Baltimore.

It must be noted that one stark result of such federalization would be the successful and quiet removal of opposition to gun control via new constraints on sheriffs around the country who currently enjoy relative freedom from extensive federal input and oversight. As we have seen from the Sandy Hook Elementary attack until now, the strongest voices against federal gun control have often been sheriffs in states where gun rights reign supreme. These same sheriffs have also pushed back against anti-Second Amendment legislators in their own states by pledging their refusal to enforce new gun laws, should such laws be enacted.

The Way Ahead: How We Can Restore Liberty in Our Lifetime

Guerrillamerica

There have been myriad plans to restore Liberty floated around in the Freedom Forces (FREEFOR) and Patriot communities.  They’ve ranged from making war on police officers to more traditional resistance operations against countervalue targets, to passive resistance and civil disobedience, and simply voting our way out.  I think some of these plans have some merit… some have more than others, while at least two have no merit.  I’ve never liked the idea of shooting police officers ‘just to get our point across’ and I think it’s a dumb idea.  A similarly dumb idea is that we can just vote in a new, better president to fix everything.  I don’t mean any personal offense to anyone who supports these plans; I just wish that you would think through the process of what they entail, the likelihood of success, and the end result if you fail.  There are, of course, several striking negative second- and third-order effects that are detrimental to what you’re actually trying to accomplish.  I’ve covered those in detail in previous posts.

Understand: I’m a pragmatist.  I favor practical plans over outlandish and low-probability-of-success plans.  And since there are relatively few of us Patriots willing to pursue a future to the ends of our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor, and since we will only have one chance to get it right the first time, we owe it to ourselves to move out with a purpose with a plan that can actually get us what we want.  If we look across the spectrum of civil conflicts across the centuries, there a lot that not only failed in succeeding, but that actually made life worse.  In other words, the exact opposite of what these folks set out to do.  I’m reminded of the Roman Emperor Caligula, who by all accounts was one of the most brutal, demented, and evil rulers in the history of the earth. He was assassinated by a few body guards who wanted the Roman Senate to restore the Republic.  But what did the Roman people do upon hearing of Caligula’s death?  They stormed the Senate building and insisted that Claudius be made emperor.  (Claudius’ life had been spared by the Praetorian Guard during the coup.)  Claudius purchased the support of the Praetorian Guard, which thus entrenched him as emperor, completely negating the efforts of the Senatorial conspiracy to restore the Republic.  And Claudius selected Nero as his heir, who infamously fiddled as Rome burned.  This is just one among many such historical realities.

A Comment on Obama Limiting Military Hardware to Police Departments

I felt that the following comment from Obama Limiting Military Hardware to Police Departments was worthy of its own article. We must have eyes to see and ears to hear to be vigilant as well as free. When tyranny passes for freedom as we now have in this country, there is only one recourse.

David DeGerolamo

Comment from LordChamp:

Remember to watch the other hand. They give with one hand and take with the other.

NOTHING is done by this administration without a political purpose and merely looking good for the media is NOT that purpose. They know looking good doesn’t matter anymore because they will be protected by THEIR government owned media. They could shoot people down in the streets and no one would notice. Oh wait, they already do. Never mind.

Anyways, it appears they are on the road to the nationalizing of the police force. It’s the usual pattern used by the federal government. Start with a carrot, get the local organization hooked, then stop giving it what ever reason they want to make up. Then the locals will BEG for the feds to give back what they were getting. The feds then say, well, we can’t do that unless you give us total control, you can’t be trusted with this much power, only we can.

Look at the education system. That is exactly the tactic they used and continue to use there.

Today nationalized education, next stop nationalized brown shirts totally under federal control.

Anyone still want to believe they don’t intend to totally dominate and control us? This is EXACTLY what the nazi’s did in Germany in the 1920’s and 1930’s. The people then just stood and watched too. I think we all know how that ended.

Do we learn from history this time or continue to let it repeat as we humans usually do.

Go today and read the grievances listed in the Declaration of Independence. I bet you find that almost every one used then against the King of England also applies to us TODAY. That should tell you something about the state of our government today.

Tyranny is tyranny, whether it’s the King of England in the 1700’s, the German government in the 1930’s, or the US government in the 2000’s.

So why are we so quiet. Does freedom mean less to us today than it did our Founders?

Evidently so.

DEA Strikes Again: Seize Man’s Life Savings Under Civil Asset Forfeiture Without Charges

Image result for dea agent

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

All the money – $16,000 in cash – that Joseph Rivers said he had saved and relatives had given him to launch his dream in Hollywood is gone, seized during his trip out West not by thieves but by Drug Enforcement Administration agents during a stop at the Amtrak train station in Albuquerque.

Rivers, 22, wasn’t detained and has not been charged with any crime since his money was taken last month.

That doesn’t matter. Under a federal law enforcement tool called civil asset forfeiture, he need never be arrested or convicted of a crime for the government to take away his cash, cars or property – and keep it.

Rivers was left penniless, his dream deferred.

From the Albuquerque Journal article: DEA to Traveler: Thanks, I’ll Take That Cash

In the “land of the free” you might be innocent until proven guilty, but your assets aren’t.

In one of the most uncivilized and preposterous loopholes in America, federal agents are allowed to steal citizens’ assets; cars, cash, even homes, based on suspicion alone. I’ve covered this barbaric and backward practice on many occasions, but here’s a quick refresher from the first post I wrote on the subject in 2013, Why You Should Never, Ever Drive Through Tenaha, Texas:

As ISIS Conquers Iraq, Obama Was Watching the Finale of Mad Men

Friend —

Mad Men came to an end last night. (Don’t worry — no spoilers here.)

I’m writing today because it’s past time to put the workplace policies from the 1960s behind us, too.

The United States is the only developed nation in the world that does not offer paid leave for new mothers, and 43 million Americans working in the private sector are without any form of paid sick leave.

That should change.

OFA supporters are taking a stand on this — add your name if you believe that paid leave is a worker’s right, not a privilege.

Things like paid sick days, leave for new parents, and affordable child care, aren’t women’s issues — these are economic issues, plain and simple.

A woman deserves the right to take some time off to care for a new baby, but many can’t afford to take unpaid leave. Mothers — and fathers, too — deserve the ability to take a day off when they need to in order to properly care for a sick child, an aging parent, or for themselves.

Earlier this year, I took action to ensure federal employees have access to at least six weeks of paid leave when a new child arrives, and I called on Congress to follow suit. My administration laid out a plan to help states and cities implement policies of their own.

This isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s the smart approach for our economy.

Let’s move our workplace policies into the 21st century. Make your voice heard with OFA today:

Thanks,

Barack Obama

Intro To Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3)

I have just added a TC3 class to the training schedule. Here is an introduction to the subject:

Some of this is straight from US Army 68W Combat Medical protocols, some of it is at the CLS (Combat Lifesaver) level, and there is a bit of opinion thrown in there too…..it is partly excerpted from the chapter in ‘Contact!: A Tactical manual for Post Collapse Survival‘ on casualties.

This post would be usefully read along with ‘SHTF Combat Casualty – Considerations & Realities‘. Remember that these TC3 protocols assume evacuation to definitive care (Combat Hospital), so in the absence of that you have other factors to consider. The linked post delves into that  a little

Unlike the normal ABC medical protocol that you will have heard about, the combat protocol for trauma situations is M-A-R-C-H, which puts Massive Hemorrhage before Airway, if it is indicated, but still includes Circulation for less serious bleeds and IVs. The other big difference is tourniquets: tourniquets used to be considered a tool of last resort. Now they are considered a tool of first resort in a combat environment. The following article is a basic summary.

M -Massive Hemorrhage

A – Airway

R – Respiration

C – Circulation

H – Hypothermia

(This used to be H-A-B-C. Hemorrhage-Airway-Breathing-Circulation. Pretty much the same thing).

Let’s not bring 50,000 Syrians to Detroit

Republican Governor Rick Snyder expanded Medicaid in Michigan and got a pat on the back from pal Obama. Readers, the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare is one of the major reasons your state will become a magnet for immigrant and refugee “seedlings” in Obama’s plan to colonize American towns with “New Americans.”

by Ann Corcoran

Now the New York Times has published an Op-Ed by a couple of open borders agitators suggesting Detroit could be saved by the infusion of 50,000 Syrians refugees into the city overnight.  On what planet are these guys living?

They never mention of course that the FBI testified in the House Homeland Security Committee that we cannot properly screen Syrians for security concerns because there are no records available on who they are!

The New York Times

Detroit, a once great city, has become an urban vacuum. Its population has fallen to around 700,000 from nearly 1.9 million in 1950. The city is estimated to have more than 70,000 abandoned buildings and 90,000 vacant lots. Meanwhile, desperate Syrians, victims of an unfathomable civil war, are fleeing to neighboring countries, with some 1.8 million in Turkey and 600,000 in Jordan.

Suppose these two social and humanitarian disasters were conjoined to produce something positive.

Gov. Rick Snyder of Michigan, a Republican, has already laid the groundwork. In January 2014 he called for an infusion of 50,000 immigrants as part of a program to revitalize Detroit, and signed anexecutive order creating the Michigan Office for New Americans.  [Here is one story about Gov. Snyder inviting in to Michigan Middle Eastern migrants.—ed]

Syrian refugees would be an ideal community to realize this goal, as Arab-Americans are already a vibrant and successful presence in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Obama limiting military hardware to police departments

The White House on Monday announced new limits on federal programs that supply local police with military-style equipment.

After four months of study, a Cabinet working group tasked by President Obama to reform the initiatives unveiled eight categories of military supplies local law enforcement will be banned from acquiring from federal agencies or with federal funds.

The list includes grenade launchers, tracked armored vehicles, armed aircraft, bayonets, and guns and ammunition of .50 caliber or higher.

There is a “substantial risk of misusing or overusing these items,” which “could significantly undermine community trust,” the group’s report reads.

Other federally supplied equipment, such as wheeled armored vehicles, drones, helicopters, firearms and riot gear, will come with new strings attached for local police to ensure officers are trained in their use and in “community policing, constitutional policing and community input.”

Police must provide a “clear and persuasive explanation” for the need of the equipment and get approval from their local government.

The steps are part of the White House’s effort to reestablish trust between law enforcement and their communities in response to a string of police-related deaths of black men in Baltimore, Ferguson, Mo. and North Charleston, S.C., among other cities.
