Chinese Missile Forces Pose Threat to U.S. in Future Conflic

China’s advanced cruise and ballistic missiles pose a significant threat in future conflict with the United States, the chief of naval operations (CNO) warned last week.

Adm. Jonathan Greenert, the CNO, also said during a security conference Friday that China is building a second aircraft carrier that could be deployed in the not too distant future.

However, China’s current single carrier force is still under development and the Chinese are incapable of conducting aircraft strike operations from the refurbished Soviet-era carrier now called the Liaoning, Greenert said following a recent visit to China, where he toured the carrier.

Asked what Chinese weapons systems he is most concerned about if the United States went to war with China, Greenert noted Beijing’s growing arsenal of cruise and ballistic missiles.

Pennsylvania man shot by police during warrant service for parking tickets

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA — A man may never walk again after he was shot in his driveway by a constable who had showed up to his home regarding unpaid parking tickets.

Kevin McCullers, 38, was just about to make a trip to go buy some morning doughnuts when his life changed forever.  Around 7:30 a.m. on July 17th, McCullers got into his car, opened his garage door, and put his car into reverse gear.  As he backed out of the driveway, his girlfriend abruptly heard gunshots ring out.

Two strange men were outside, and one had just shot Mr. McCullers while in the driver’s seat of his car.

“They never knocked on the door! No nothing! I just heard the gunshots! He pulled the car out of the garage and all I heard were gunshots,” Hafeezah Muhammad told NBC 10 Philadelphia.  She was inside the house during the attack.

If the end game is a worldwide pandemic, what can you do?

There are only two man made ways to significantly reduce the population of the world: war and disease. We see the multitude of wars currently across the world but even a nuclear world war will not reduce the population down to the supposed level of 500 million goal of the supposed “the new world order”. That leaves disease. The video below has been posted on several sites but as pointed out to me today, it is not receiving enough distribution.

If the end game is a worldwide pandemic, what can you do? First, develop and implement a quarantine protocol. What will you do if relatives show up on your doorstep from an infected locale?

1.  I was told recently that I am a completely negative person.  My riposte:

This post will indeed be completely negative/unpleasant.  Horrifically so.  If you don’t want to read negative things and the picture of the super-cute kitty cat made you chuckle, just stop here.

2.  First, there is scuttlebutt going around that, according to a lawsuit that has been filed in U.S. District Court in Northern Illinois, fully half of all futures trades in Chicago are illegal wash trades executed by the High Frequency Trading Algorithms.  A wash trade is when the buyer AND seller in a given transaction are the same entity.  Just SLIGHTLY illegal.  Lilbit.

I don’t know how for-real the people behind this lawsuit are, but I do know that the markets, both futures and stocks, have been total shams for quite some time now.

Shortly after our report yesterday that the Liberian man suspected of carrying the Ebola virus has died while quarantined in Nigeria, the local health ministry confirmed that he was indeed the first confirmed Ebola death in the Nigerian city of Lagos, which with a population of roughly 20 million, is the largest city in Africa and the fourth largest in the world. The victim, who worked for the Liberian government, collapsed at Lagos international airport after arriving on a flight from Monrovia via the Togolese capital Lome on Tuesday, according to the Nigerian government. And now the “red alert” scramble begins in Nigeria, with a population fo 170 million, to isolate who else the deceased may have come in contact with.

The EU and western drive toward bail-ins continues unabated. So too does the increasing uncertainty for investors in European financial institutions and depositors in European and western banks.

The coming bail-in regime raises the spectre of the effective loss of their investments and savings due to the new legislation which will again bail out insolvent banks.

On July 8, the Austrian government had its parliamentary groups pass special legislation for a bail-in of Hypo Alpe Adria bank (HAA), in the range of nearly EUR 900 million.
