GRNC Alert 01-05-14 TOWN LEADERS TAUNT GUN OWNERS & GOOD NEWS FROM PITT COUNTY

TOWN’S LEADERSHIP DEFIES STATE LAW

This Tuesday, January 7th, Kernersville Town Aldermen will meet to discuss the illegal gun-ban signs that they have elected to leave in place in town parks. As you read below, you’ll see why this meeting of the Town Aldermen is a “must attend” for anyone serious about defending gun rights. If you’re tired of witnessing the blatant abuse of power by elected officials and bureaucrats, here’s your chance to make a difference.

It is no longer legal to post signs like the one pictured below, so they must come down in order for Kernersville to be in compliance with state law (S.L. 2013-369). Unfortunately, Kernersville town leaders have made no effort to remove the offending signs, and except for Town Alderman Keith Hooker, it looks like Kernersville leadership plans to continue its defiance.

Russia Just Says “Nyet” To Japan’s Radioactive Exports

A customs officer holds up a device used for measuring radiation levels, while standing in front of vehicles delivered from Japan, in Russia’s far eastern city of Vladivostok.

While Japanese imports are surging on the back of an ever-depreciating currency and ever-appreciating cost of energy, it would appear the enterprising Easterners have come up with a solution to two problems – exports and radiation. As RT reportsmore than 130 “contaminated” used cars from Japan were denied access to Russia last year. The consumer watchdog agency Rospotrebnadzor is also closely monitoring deliveries of fish.

Al Qaida linked militants seize Fallujah, Iraq

Al-Qaida Largely Takes Over Fallujah and Ramadi in Iraq

Two Iraqi cities that were strongholds of Sunni insurgents during the U.S. war in the country are battlegrounds once more after al-Qaida militants largely took them over, fending off government forces that have been besieging them for days.

The overrunning of the cities this week by al-Qaida’s Iraqi branch in the Sunni heartland of western Anbar provinces is a blow to the Shiite-led government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Malik. His government has been struggling to contain discontent among the Sunni minority over Shiite political domination that has flared into increased violence for the past year.

On Friday, al-Qaida gunmen sought to win over the population in Fallujah, one of the cities they swept into on Wednesday. A militant commander appeared among worshippers holding Friday prayers in the main city street, proclaiming that his fighters were there to defend Sunnis from the government, one resident said.

The Wrong Medicine..

A doctor from France says:”In France , the medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man’s testicles; we put them into another man, and in 6 weeks he is looking for work.”

A German doctor comments quietly : “That’s nothing, in Germany we take part of the brain out of a person; we put it into another person head, and in 4 weeks he is looking for work.”

A Russian doctor says boasting :”That’s nothing either. In Russia we take out half of the heart from a person; we put it into another person’s chest, and in 2 weeks he is looking for work.”

The U.S. doctor laughs and answers loudly immediately: “That’s nothing my colleagues, you are way behind us….in the USA , about 5 years ago, we grabbed a person from Kenya with no brains, no heart, and no balls….we made him President of the United States, and now……. the whole damn country is looking for work.
