Source Recruitment Cycle

ACEO

Source recruitment and source operations are two areas that have really been lacking on this blog, and I get questions from time to time about how to develop them.  They’re all good questions but the answers have two things in common: they’re much too complex to explain in text over a few short blog posts, and source ops really takes a back seat to analysis.  Having all the information in the world doesn’t mean much if you lack the ability to decipher it and synthesize knowledge.  But we can at least start with the basics.  You need to be building a source network in your AO, even if it’s an informal and loosely-organized one (that many of you already have).  So let’s lay these questions to rest!

Source recruiting takes a lot of planning and expertise.  We know this because it can be dangerous work and because recruitment still fails.  Just like with every other topic on this blog, we need a methodical and rational way to approach sources, which is presented in the Source Recruitment Cycle (SRC).

Source Recruitment Cycle.

1. Identify potential sources based on intelligence requirements.

Saab wins Brazil jet deal after NSA spying sours Boeing bid

Brazil awarded a $4.5 billion contract to Saab AB on Wednesday to replace its aging fleet of fighter jets, a surprise coup for the Swedish company after news of U.S. spying on Brazilians helped derail Boeing’s chances for the deal.

“The NSA problem ruined it for the Americans,” a Brazilian government source said on condition of anonymity.

A U.S. source close to the negotiations said that whatever intelligence the spying had delivered for the American government was unlikely to outweigh the commercial cost of the revelations.

“Was that worth 4 billion dollars?” the source asked.

The lament echo’s recent complaints by Cisco Systems Inc , which said in November that a backlash against U.S. government spying contributed to lower demand for its products in China.

Obama commutes 8 crack cocaine sentence

AP Obama Health Care_011

President Obama is commuting the prison terms of eight people convicted on federal crack cocaine charges, saying they were punished under laws that permitted unfair sentencing disparities.

“In several cases, the sentencing judges expressed frustration that the law at the time did not allow them to issue punishments that more appropriately fit the crime,” Obama said in a statement.

One of those commuted — Reynolds Allen WintersmithJr. — is a cousin of Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, a long-time political supporter of Obama.

Officials said there was no contact between the Patrick and Obama administrations on the Wintersmith case.

Jesse Mermell, a spokesperson for Patrick, said the governor “doesn’t recall having met Mr. Wintersmith, and was not involved in any application for a commutation of his sentence. The governor only learned that Mr. Wintersmith’s sentence had been commuted through today’s media reports.”

Letter to the editor – Franklin Times

Dear Editor:

I find it mystifying that former senator Doug Berger (D) is obsessed with our We the People-Franklin Co Patriots group reading of the US Constitution. He sees a contradiction in my explaining why we elected not to read any amendments other than the original 10 and Roger Lytle expressing his view that the 17th should be repealed. The fact that it does need to be repealed, has absolutely nothing to do with our reading, period. That is another issue. Yes, the 17th amendment was implemented by Woodrow Wilson (D) a known racist and Progressive (Socialist) in order to change the balance of power the founders very carefully crafted. It reduced the states power, and gave more power to the executive branch. It is amusing to be lectured by a former (?) member of the Communist Democratic Socialists of America on the Constitution and the republic form of government versus the democratic form.

As to my statements after the 2012 election, I was referring to our national election, not local, where there was very little attempted fraud. What was attempted was stopped. The national election was fraught with fraud: electronic voting machines that would not register a vote for Romney and switched it to Obama, no matter how many times the voter tried, that never registered an Obama vote as a vote for Romney. The precincts that strangely went 100% for Obama – a statistical impossibility, and precincts with say 450 people registered to vote and “somehow” 650 people voted, largely for Obama The usual voting by dead people, convicted felons, the legally mentally incompetent, and voters using another registered voters name and address’s, all because there was no law in place asking the voter to prove their legal identity, as we have to do in so many other areas of our lives, happened in the 2012 and many previous elections. How anyone can defend the corruption of fair and legal voting is beyond me, but that is exactly what the democrat party is fighting for – the right to inject fraud and intimidation into our elections. Once and for all, the tea party did not come about to suppress voting, no matter how much Sen. Berger wants to say it. TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already. The charge by progressives that the tea party is racist are absurd – I have been to many, many tea party rallies, in NC and Washington DC, and have heard many wonderful black conservatives speak the truth. Go tell Mr. Clarence Henderson, who was one of the four young black men who sat at the Woolworth lunch counter in protest in the 1960’s, who spoke at a rally I helped organize in Raleigh to thank our republican legislature, that he is a racist. Mr. Bill Randall also spoke at that rally and others, and I supported Bill in his run for the U.S. House of Rep’s by hosting a fund raiser for him in our home. We also hosted a fund raiser for Renee Ellmers – I guess that proves conservative tea party types are sexist and racist.

NCRenegade Makes MSNBC – More Sharpton Lies

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KMOB9fUBgQ

I have a question for Al Sharpton since I was involved in organizing this seminar in Cary. Where did you come up with the League of the South sponsoring this event? Another new low in race baiting.

Michelle Obama: ‘Make It a Christmas Treat’ to Talk About Health Insurance

Michelle ObamaReaching out to “moms” on Wednesday, President and Mrs. Obama urged them to encourage others to enroll in Obamacare.

“And we urge people to reach out. And if they signed up their child, then signed up — sign up their friends,” Mrs. Obama said. “You know, if you’ve got grandkids, make it a Christmas treat around the table to talk about a little health care. You know, ring in the new year with a — new coverage.” (Chuckles.)

Mrs. Obama said when she thinks of Obamacare, “the words that come to mind for me are peace of mind.” She said it’s not about politics — it’s about a “safety net” to prevent medical bills from bankrupting patients.

“And as Barack said, your stories are powerful. And it’s our job as mothers to make sure that our young people are informed about, you know, their invincibility, to make sure that other moms and families out there really understand what this law provides, and that they can take advantage of it. This is the beauty of it. People have choices. They can go onto the website, they can talk to a navigator, they can learn for themselves what the law means and what it doesn’t mean.

FUKUSHIMA? 98% OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN FLOOR COVERED BY DEAD SEA CREATURES

Fukushima

According to an absolutely shocking study that has just been released, one area of the Pacific Ocean floor was 98 percent covered by decomposing sea creatures in July 2012 But in March 2012, only 1 percent of that same section of the Pacific Ocean floor was covered by dead sea creatures.

The scientists that are studying this section of the ocean floor have never seen anything quite like this before.  And when you consider this in conjunction with all of the other reports that have been coming in of sea creatures dying all over the Pacific Ocean, it is only natural to start asking some hard questions.

Phil Robertson, Duck Commander, “One Thing I’ve Learned”

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn7nWefn_Ms

I personally believe the attacks on Mr. Robertson are indirect attacks on the Bible. Homosexuality is a sin in the Lord’s eyes. I have never watched Duck Dynasty but I have read Mr. Robertson’s book.

Just another clarification between the two sides in our country. Another interpretation is those who love the Lord or hate the Lord.

Watcha Gonna Do When They Come For You?

swat team 3am

Are you ready for the coming tyrannical crackdown and the complete evisceration of our constitutional liberties? Have you taken the proper precautions that will ensure the safety of you and your family? It is not likely that very many of us have taken the any meaningful steps to maximize our chances for survival in what will prove to be humanity’s darkest days. Will it be possible to avoid detection and prevent yourself from being taken into custody?

When the DHS bus rolls into your neighborhood, are you prepared to deal with what lies ahead? Let’s assume for a second that Obama attempts a third false flag in the past several months and is successful. Subsequently, martial law is fully declared. I have always said that the order of things to come will be false flag events, followed by martial law and culminating in WWIII.
