Young Invincibles Spurn ObamaCare

Mounting opposition to ObamaCare among young adults is creating a new crisis for the White House.

While the federal enrollment website HealthCare.gov appears to be improving by the day, polls show the “young invincibles” key to making the law work are becoming less likely to enroll.

Younger people were skeptical of the healthcare reform law even before its troubled rollout, despite their support for President Obama.

But polling indicates the problems facing HealthCare.gov — a site the administration initially touted as a hip, tech-friendly experience — have reinforced their doubts about the need to have health insurance at all.

Chinese Bitcoin Market Collapses

The Chinese Bitcoin market has collapsed this morning. If the powers that be cannot control something, then they will regulate it until it is destroyed. Bitcoin, the Constitution, Healthcare or the free market are all in the crosshairs of our “leaders”.

Bitcoin Tumbles After China Central Bank Bans Financial Companies From Using Digital Currency

As we said back in March, when Bitcoin’s parabolic rise first started, it was only a matter of time before first one, then all central banks take on Bitcoin for the simple fact that it present too great a threat to the fiat system. Sure enough, on the chart below of BTC China it is quite clear just at what point overnight the People’s Bank of China announced that Bitcoin is simply a virtual commodity and “isn’t a currency with any real meaning” (paraphrasing Alan Greenspan), and that it officially bans financial companies from Bitcoin transactions.

H.R. 3361: Uniting and Strengthening America by Fulfilling Rights and Ending Eavesdropping, Dragnet-collection, and Online Monitoring Act

Mark Meadows

First, legislation to preserve our Liberty from the Federal government should never have to be written. Second, the should never have been relegated to several committees to bury it. Third, every “Representative” should be a co-sponsor of this legislation.

It is ironic that this bill was written by James Sensenbrenner: the original architect of the “Patriot Act”. Currently, this legislation has a 45 % chance of approval. Only Howard Coble and Walter Jones have signed on as co-sponsors from North Carolina. So we have to ask ourselves who these US Representatives really “represent”.

Remember the above politicians next year if you still are planning in participating in the “election” process.

Man, America is asleep in a bad way

Representing America's Remedy!

Representing America’s Remedy!

So I’m standing in a line of about 20-30 people at the license plate office to get a new sticker for one of our trust’s vehicles. I look at the little old lady and blue collar looking guy behind me and I jokingly say, “Boy, they must be selling a fantastic product here for everybody to want one so badly! Look at all the customers!” ….and….NOTHING. I mean these people had NO IDEA what I was talking about. Wow.

So I thought, well, maybe I need to step this up. Surely all of these people aren’t asleep. So I see a little grumbling in front of me. A black woman, a tan fellow and another blue collar looking guy were in front of me and start complaining about how hot it was in there (seriously, it was like 82 degrees). The tan guy goes, “she’s talking on the phone, and she’s got all these customers in line”. So I yell out “yeah, and I’m having to buy something I don’t even want in the first place!” ….and….LAUGHTER! LOL.. I actually get some chuckles. They ask me what I’m there for. “I’m here to buy a sticker!…A $40 dollar sticker!….and it doesn’t even have a smiley face to make me feel good!” More laughter. Alright, now we’re rollin. “I’m here to get a sticker to put on my car so I can drive around in a free country!”

And LAUGHTER!

Then the guy in front of me goes, “it ain’t free any more.”

I’m amazed at how much prodding it took. Man, America is asleep in a bad way. It ain’t the politicians my friend. People don’t even remember what the word LIBERTY means. We aren’t even close to fighting back at this point.

Stunnning Chart: Today’s Stock Market is Eerily Reminiscent of 1929…

Ken Jorgustin of Modern Survival Blog writes:

Is there a major financial crash in our near future? You must check out this stunning analogy between the current day Dow Jones Industrial Index compared with the time period 1928-1929 leading up to the memorable stock market crash…

The pattern of stock price movements looks VERY close to the lead-up to the 1929 top.

A lead-up to just any old top is one thing, but the 1929 top was followed by a memorable decline, which makes it all the more worthy of our attention…

Ken stops short of predicting that stock markets will do the same thing this January as they did in 1929, but take a look at this amazing comparison and decide for yourself if it’s possible that this whole thing will break wide open on or around January 14th of 2014:
