U.S. Economy Expands at 2.8% Pace in 3Q – Fox Business

The U.S. economy grew faster than expected in the third quarter as businesses restocked shelves, but a slowdown in consumer and business spending pointed to an underlying weakness.

Gross domestic product expanded at a 2.8% annual rate, the quickest pace since the third quarter of 2012, the Commerce Department said on Thursday. It was an acceleration from a 2.5% clip in the second quarter and beat economists’ expectations for a 2.0% rate.

Tragic End To Father’s Attempt To Teach Son A Lesson

Emergency personnel take a driver, who was shot by Ames Police on Iowa State University's campus following a pursuit, toward a waiting ambulance for transportation to Mary Greeley Medical Center.

Emergency personnel take a driver, who was shot by Ames Police on Iowa State University’s campus following a pursuit, toward a waiting ambulance for transportation to Mary Greeley Medical Center.

When James Comstock refused to purchase his 19-year-old son cigarettes, the teenager drive off in his father’s truck. Attempting to teach his rebellious son a lesson, Comstock phoned the police to report his vehicle stolen.

This lesson ended with the police fatally shooting the his son, Tyler, on the Iowa State University campus.

The father is angry and confused. He wonders why the police hastily used deadly force.

“He took off with my truck. I call the police, and they kill him. It was over a damn pack of cigarettes. I wouldn’t buy him none,” Comstock told The Des Moines Register. “And I lose my son for that.”

In Stunning Move, ECB Cuts Rates By 25 bps, Euro Plunges

Perhaps it is not surprising that with the absolute majority of economists and strategists, or 67 of 70, predicting no rate cut by the ECB, this is exactly what the ECB just did, when in a stunning move it cut rates for both the main refi rate and the marginal lending facility by 25 bps, to 0.25% and 0.75% respectively. And there is your reaction to Europe’s encroaching deflation.

From the ECB:

WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: “Just Shut Up And Listen”

A very unexpected message arrived from the individual so many of you know as White House Insider.  They wanted to talk briefly about politics – namely, the Virginia governor’s race.  Apparently, my earlier article on the subject didn’t quite meet their personal approval.  Here is that message, just received, in its entirety, exactly as it was sent to me, with just one minor omission.

Hey.  Read your write up on the virg. election.  You made some valid points.  You also made some stabs that missed the mark.  Badly.  So just shut and listen.

First, dems are not “cringing in fear”.  Give me a break.  They won Virginia.  Terry will turn that place into an early results election night launch pad for Hillary in 2016.  At least he’ll try to, and will be given plenty of $$$$ by her campaign to get it done.  So you better drop that bullshit line because it’s not true.  I’ll admit it was closer than I thought it would be.  Obamacare rollout is kicking the hell out of the WH right now.  I also think that if the GOP had given up a few more million to the  Cuccinelli campaign, the Republicans might be celebrating a victory in Virginia which would have been a very nice pick up for them.  They dropped the ball though.  They’ll try to say it was about playing smart, or saving cash, but in the end, their job is to help candidates win elections and the GOP didn’t do that in Virginia, and Virginia is always a very important win for either side.

Is America Being Deliberately Pushed Toward Civil War?

by Brandon Smith

Who would prevail in a second American civil war? Tactically speaking, conservatives have the upper hand and are far better prepared. Food rioters wouldn’t last beyond three to six weeks as starvation takes its toll, and mindless mobs would not last long against seasoned riflemen. The military, though suffering purges by the White House, still contains numerous conservatives within its ranks. Outside influences, including NATO or the United Nations, are a possibility. There are numerous factors to consider. But I would point out that the most dangerous adversary Constitutional conservatives face is not the left, Obama, or a Federal government gone rogue. Rather, our greatest adversary is ourselves.

If lured into a left/right civil war, would most conservatives be able to see beyond the veil and recognize that the fight is not about Obama, or the Left, or tyrannical government alone? Could we be co-opted by devious influences disguised as friends and compatriots? Will we end up following neocon salesmen and military elites who materialize out of the woodwork at the last minute to “lead us to victory” while actually leading us towards globalization with a slightly different face?

If a civil conflict has been war gamed by the establishment, you can bet they have contingency plans regardless of which side attains the upper hand. In the end, if we do not make the fight about the bankers and globalists, the Federal Reserve, the International Monetary Fund, the Council On Foreign Relations, etc., then everyone loses. Who wins in a new American civil war? If we become blinded by the trespasses of a certain White House jester, only the globalists will win.

Judas Syndrome

From YouTube:

As Judas sold out his Lord, many Americans are selling out their country, for an Obamaphone and an EBT card.

Beyond reparations

Reparations are used as a grievance-based wedge issue to gain traction for folks who have no interest in attaining education or displaying any motivation to achieve something in life. Actually, reparations are little more than a distraction, designed to deflect the focus from the problem and make people who have no horse in the race – the solution.

The greatest tragedy in all this on-going race-based strategy is its overwhelming effect on young blacks. These youths are fertile soil for planting the message that all their problems are caused by white people —and that the white majority is always going to deny them an opportunity to achieve. In short, the Jacksons, Sharptons, and other lesser-known race hustlers are priming black youths to resent and hate people that they have never met and who have never done them any harm.

Teaching people, who live in less than desirable circumstances, to hate is child’s play. We all have the ingrained desire to blame some outside influence for our shortcomings —the stronger of us refuse to succumb to that temptation, and the weaker yield to its appeal.

It’s Not the ”Radical Shaykh” it’s Islam – Fahad Qureshi

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV710c1dgpU

From YouTube:

When Muslim organizations invite Shaykhs who speak openly about the values of Islam, the Islamophobic western media starts murdering the character of that organization and the invited speaker. The question these Islamophobic journalists need to reflect upon is; are these so called ”radical” views that they criticize endorsed only by these few individuals being invited around the globe, or does the common Muslims believe in them. If the common Muslims believe in these values that means that more or less all Muslims are radical and that Islam is a radical religion. Since this is not the case, as Islam is a peaceful religion and so are the masses of common Muslims, these Shaykhs cannot be radical. Rather it is Islamophobia from the ignorant western media who is more concerned about making money by alienating Islam by presenting Muslims in this way. Islam Net, an organization in Norway, invited 9 speakers to Peace Conference Scandinavia 2013. These speakers would most likely be labelled as ”extremists” if the media were to write about the conference. But how come this conference was the largest Islamic Scandinavian International event that has taken place in Norway with about 4000 people attending? Were the majority of those who attended in opposition to what the speakers were preaching? If so, how come they paid to enter? Let’s forget about that for a moment, let’s imagine that we don’t really knew what all these people thought about for example segregation of men and women, or stoning to death of those who commit adultery. The Chairman of Islam Net, Fahad Ullah Qureshi asked the audience, and the answer was clear. The attendees were common Sunni Muslims. They did not consider themselves as radicals or extremists. They believed that segregation was the right thing to do, both men and women agreed upon this. They even supported stoning or whatever punishment Islam or prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded for adultery or any other crime. They even believed that these practises should be implemented around the world. Now what does that tell us? Either all Muslims and Islam is radical, or the media is Islamophobic and racist in their presentation of Islam. Islam is not radical, nor is Muslims in general radical. That means that the media is the reason for the hatred against Muslims, which is spreading among the non-Muslims in western countries.
