The military equipment included 240 metric tons of “obsolete defensive weapons,” including two anti-aircraft “complexes.”
The air defenses were descrsibed as “Volga,” the export version of the Soviet-era SA-2 surface-to-air missile systems, and the “Pechora,” the expert version of the SA-3.
Nine missiles, two Mig-21 aircraft, and 15 motors for the jet were included “to be repaired and returned to Cuba,” the statement said.

The “whoop ass revelation” from Rachel Jeantel on Piers Anthony is very disturbing for several reasons:
1. She seems to think that a “whoop ass” is something that is not life threatening and is normal, acceptable behavior.
2. Trayvon Martin was just giving George Zimmerman a “whoop ass” and George should have known that his life was not being threatened.
3. George Zimmerman should have just taken his “whoop ass” by his attacker without defending himself.
4. This information was suppressed by the media and is still being suppressed. Eric Holder and Obama will not address the obvious racism involved in this case. This is another case of our two-tiered justice system.
In the final analysis, Americans do not understand the difference between “bash” or “kill”.

Although the following story is a year old, Office Jonathan Molina did not have a chance to decide which type of beating he was receiving from a 17 year old: he died. I do not think that anyone who is receiving a beating will take the time to decide if it is a “bash” or “kill”, they will only act to preserve their life. Which is what George Zimmerman did.

(WJHD.com) For the second time in a week, a Drone has been destroyed at Tyndall Air Force Base.
The latest crash came Wednesday morning around 8:25 when the drone crashed alongside US 98 in the Silver Flag area on the east side of the base.
Eye witnesses say the QF 4 drone crashed while taking off, exploded and sent up a large black cloud.
Base and local police and safety officials have closed Highway 98 and are anticipating that it will remain closed for up to 24 hours. This closure is being done strictly as a precautionary measure due to fires resulting from the crash and a small self-destruct charge carried on board the drone. The status of this device is unknown however, it is powered by a short-life battery which will be fully depleted in 24 hours.
The charge is used to destroy the drone if it leaves its pre-approved flight plan.
Motorist traveling from Panama City to Mexico Beach, should use Hwy. 22 east to Hwy. 71 south, and from Mexico Beach to Panama City Hwy. 71 north to Hwy. 22 west.
The last drone crash was last Wednesday morning when Tyndall destroyed a drone over the Gulf of Mexico south of Cape San Blas in Gulf County..

Illegal aliens will not be given drivers’ permits and ID cards however, there will be no enforcement of illegal immigration laws either, so we can still claim victory in one sense.
Thanks to your calls and emails, Rep. Warren and the House leadership (Thom Tillis) could not garner enough support to pass this disaster of a bill. A bill which catered more to illegal aliens than it did to NC citizens and our unemployed.

RALEIGH, N.C. — After more than a year of work, House leaders have given up on a bill that would have made big changes to state immigration laws, including allowing driving permits for people in the country illegally. House Bill 786 was turned into a study bill by a floor amendment during debate Tuesday.
President Obama should consider boycotting the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia if the Cold War-era foe gives asylum to Edward Snowden, Sen. Lindsey Graham told The Hill on Tuesday.
“I would. I would just send the Russians the most unequivocal signal I could send them,” Graham (R-S.C.) said when asked about the possibility of a boycott.
“It might help, because what they’re doing is outrageous,” he said. “We certainly haven’t reset our relationship with Russia in a positive way. At the end of the day, if they grant this guy asylum it’s a breach of the rule of law as we know it and is a slap in the face to the United States.”
Most people have no idea that the U.S. financial system is on the brink of utter disaster. If interest rates continue to rise rapidly, the U.S. economy is going to be facing an economic crisis far greater than the one that erupted back in 2008. At this point, the economic paradigm that the Federal Reserve has constructed only works if interest rates remain super low. If they rise, everything falls apart. Much higher interest rates would mean crippling interest payments on the national debt, much higher borrowing costs for state and local governments, trillions of dollars of losses for bond investors, another devastating real estate crash and the possibility of a multi-trillion dollar derivatives meltdown. Everything depends on interest rates staying low. Unfortunately for the Fed, it only has a certain amount of control over long-term interest rates, and that control appears to be slipping. The yield on 10 year U.S. Treasuries has soared in recent weeks. So have mortgage rates. Fortunately, rates have leveled off for the moment, but if they resume their upward march we could be dealing with a nightmare scenario very, very quickly.
In particular, the yield on 10 year U.S. Treasuries is a very important number to watch. So much else in our financial system depends on that number as CNN recently explained:

Muslim Brotherhood leader, Al Baltaghy, announced a few days ago from the Al Adawiya podium where supporters are still gathered to request Morsi’s return, that Friday,Ramadan the 10th, will be the day to take back Egypt—exactly like the attempt made to liberate Sinai from Jewish occupation on this sameRamadan date back in 1973 led by Anwar Sadat on October 6th.
From the same stage, Mohammad Hassan Hamaad, communications director of the Muslim Brotherhood, used the metaphor, “second legitimate crossing,” referring to the West-East crossing of the Suez Canal by the Egyptian army on Ramadan years earlier. Evoking history, Hamaad advocates aggression for success in returning elected President Morsi to office. Adding to Hamaad, Al Baltaghy stated, “We will not accept any kind of negotiation, and Morsi is the only one that has the right as the elected President to negotiate once he is back in his valid position as President of the country.”

The GOP must really love Ricky Ricardo, the husband of Lucille Ball’s title character in the 1950’s show “I Love Lucy.” Just like the famously chauvinist Ricky, the party apparently thinks women are empty-headed twits.
Women are so vacuous, right-wingers figure, that they don’t understand how Obamacare benefits them and their families, so they’ll be easily swayed by an Obamacare smear ad that features a lovely young actress named “Julie.”
The ads, $1 million worth of them, are running during television shows popular with women. In the spots, “Julie” says she began paying more attention to healthcare after her son suffered seizures. But, “Julie” says, she has a lot of questions about how Obamacare will work. In the ad, the young mother sits wondering—paralyzed by confusion—because the GOP believes women are incapable of finding that information themselves. “How will Obamacare impact your family?” the ad ends by asking. The GOP is banking on women being too daft to know the answer.
The Republican Party is sure young women don’t know that Obamacare is the reason that they’re covered by health insurance—and will continue to be—on their parents’ plans—until age 26. The party is sure the mothers of America’s young adults are just clueless that Obamacare is the reason their daughters and sons managed to be insured past age 18.

The tiny town of Deer Trail, Colo. — barely more than a wide spot on Interstate 70 about 55 miles east of Denver, population 546 — is considering an ordinance that would authorize licensed bounty hunters to shoot down unmanned aircraft violating its “sovereign airspace.”
A six-page petition circulated by a resident says that the threat of surveillance from drones — regardless of who is piloting them — is a threat to “traditional American ideas of Liberty and Freedom” enjoyed by Deer Trail’s “ranchers, farmers, cowboys and Indians, as well as contemporary citizens.”
Therefore, drone incursions are to be seen as acts of war.
