I just returned from the General Assembly in Raleigh, North Carolina where the Rev. Barber’s Moral Monday rally reached over 1000 people. I am working on videos tonight but a few thoughts first:
1. The numbers of these rallies are increasing each week.
2. The intelligence level of the speakers and attendees does show a distinct problem with our educational system.
3. You cannot have an intelligent debate with the people attending these rallies.
4. In their eyes, the Tea Party is evil.
5. I need to take a shower.
To be fair, the people and speakers are evil incarnate in my eyes. Imagine having a conversation with a man from Black Mountain (a community organizer by his own admission) who is wearing a planned parenthood T-shirt with a message that abortions should not have to include a co-pay. In other words, it is the responsibility of the government to pay for all abortions completely. When I asked him about contraception, he said that we should pay for that completely also: it is cheaper for society than having to pay to raise a baby.
Note to this person: whistle blowers are being murdered by this administration.
I will let the videos speak for themselves. Unless you were listening live to the rally on Sirius Left – Liberal Talk, you will have to settle for the last half of the rally.

As Obama and McCain rally behind the Muslim Brotherhood, I have to ask why are Egyptians willing to fight for freedom and we are not? What led the previous Egyptian government to ban the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt until Obama forced their return during the Arab Spring. What led our government to be usurped at all levels by Muslim infiltrators? Could it be that the Egyptians know the evil that the Muslim Brotherhood represents? Could it be that our government in DC is evil?
But here in the president’s backyard of Chicago, Morsi supporters are gathering. Why are we not out in the streets to oust our Muslim Brotherhood president? Do we have to wait for the suppression of free speech through PRISM and Bonesaw? Do we have to wait for the suspension of Habeas Corpus through the Patriot Act and the NDAA? Do we have to wait for another whistle blower like Mr. Snowden to stand up to the government’s anti-whistle blower mandate? Do we have to wait for Eric Holder to supply illegal firearms to the Muslim Brotherhood (and al Qaeda in Syria) to remove our 2nd amendment rights?
Or do we have to just remember that we are Americans who bow to no one except the Lord? When will we stand up to tyranny are restore our God given natural laws?

Egyptian army on alert in El Arish, Sinai
After US Secretary of State John Kerry was filmed vacationing on his yacht at the peak of the Egyptian crisis, President Barack Obama released this statement early Sunday, July 7: “The US is not aligned with and is not supporting any particular Egyptian political party or group and condemns “ongoing violence across Egypt.” Obama made these points in a telephone conference with the National Security Council from Camp David.
To further rebut US media criticism, the administration reported that Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel had spoken three times with Egypt’s Defense Minister Abdel Fattah El-Sisi about the military coup which deposed Mohamed Morsi on July 3, to demand the expeditious reinstatement of civilian rule.
Nothing was said about the general’s response. The military has along denied staging a coup, insisting it only stepped in to avert civil bloodshed and a provisional government would prepare the country for early elections.
Both parties to this exchange were putting on an act. For President Obama, the Muslim Brothers’ ouster was and remains unacceptable. By denying support for any particular party or group, he was also saying he wants no truck with the generals who made it happen.
It was also evident that Gen. El-Sisi rejected Hagel’s demand. Indeed, the army chief is determined not to let Washington interfere with his next moves, realizing that the Muslim Brotherhood’s president dismissal was but the first step in a process which must be followed up if it is not to implode in chaos.
At least another six months are needed for the rewriting of the constitution, installing a working interim administration and setting up elections for the presidency and parliament. In that time, Egypt will be on a knife’s edge.DEBKAfile’s Middle East sources report the army chief plans two steps for cutting through the tension, in the knowledge that the first, at least, will be strongly censured by Washington:

This is the opening for Glenn Beck’s Man in the Moon event for Independence Day. The flag is upside down to show that the country is in distress. Anyone care to disagree?
America is rapidly devolving into the oppressive police state we’ve been warning readers about. Right now, cops are exhibiting thuggish, out-of-control “mafia” behavior as they run loose across America, terrorizing innocent citizens, shooting up the vehicles of people who are merely driving cars on public roadways, taking warrantless blood draws from drivers, shooting pet dogs of people who are merely filming police, raiding farmers at gunpoint over raw milk and terrorizing young women for buying bottled water and cookie dough.
All of these are real and happening right now in America. The cause behind them? Police are being “militarized” through federal training while being given weapons of war through federal grants. Police departments across the country are now being handed armored assault vehicles, surveillance drones and full-auto assault rifles. Along with this equipment comes a training and engagement posture that is increasingly aggressive and militaristic, subjecting more and more Americans to the kind of “theater of war” engagement tactics that the U.S. military would typically use at a roadblock in Afghanistan, for example. (See latest example, below.)

Official statement from GRNC president Paul Valone:
“Ponder the irony of having national advocates for what they claim are just ‘background checks’ first claim to have the support of a majority of gun owners, and then hide the time and place of their tour stops in order to avoid the gun owners they purport to represent.”
Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and husband Mark Kelly, who fancy themselves the next Sarah and Jim Brady, having been touring the country to push for what they claim are just “background checks.” In truth, of course, the federal proposals they advocate would criminalize mundane behaviors such as gifting a gun to your mother and would further their hidden agenda to turn the computerized “National Instant Criminal Background Check System” (NICS) into a defacto gun registration system.
To divide and conquer gun owners, they claim to be shooters and have posed for photo ops of Giffords flinching off a few shots in Las Vegas and elsewhere. Gee, whiz, they say, they’re just gun owners like the rest of us and, of course, we all support “background checks,” right?
Although their website lists Raleigh as a tour stop, it is the only stop for which the group refuses to provide a precise time and location, indicating they learned from our counter demonstration to greet “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” two weeks ago, in which GRNC’s counter demonstrators outnumbered MAIG’s participants.
