Our Two-Tiered Justice System Has Killed the Republic

Our government is no longer based on the rule of law: we now have a two-tiered system of justice based on race, political ideology, power and religion. The most egregious example was Eric Holder’s decision not to prosecute “his people” for voter intimidation in Philadelphia. This one case opened the floodgates for injustice in America. Other examples:

1. IRS attacks on Tea Party, 912 Project and Patriot groups.

2. DHS terrorist list: including returning veterans and people who support the Constitution.

3. William Zimmerman.

4. FEMA assistance in New Orleans vs. Hurricane Sandy/midwest tornadoes.

5. FBI giving outreach to Muslim groups instead of investigating them for terrorism as outlined by Robert Mueller in Congressional Hearings.

Asheville Police Department officer alleges coverup by Police Chief William Anderson

A city police lieutenant alleged Tuesday morning that police Chief William Anderson and a high-ranking captain tried to coerce him into making “false and misleading” statements regarding a car accident involving the chief’s son.

The public allegations, however, will not result in an SBI investigation into the chief’s actions, District Attorney Ron Moore said. Lt. William Wilke met with the SBI and FBI on Tuesday night, Moore said, and told investigators he did not have anything to add to statements he made to the SBI earlier this year.

“Based on the two statements given several months ago and there being nothing new to add, there is no new investigation to be had.”

Wilke, a 13-year veteran of the APD, held a press conference Tuesday morning at the office of his lawyer, George Hyler, and read a two-page statement about the events of March 9 and the following days.

Wilke said the chief and Capt. Stony Gonce attempted to have him “submit to a set of facts and circumstances regarding the accident involving (the chief’s) son that were clearly false and misleading.” Wilke was the scene commander the night of the wreck.

Also, Wilke alleged City Manager Gary Jackson and Deputy City Manager Jeff Richardson declined to act when Wilke raised his concerns about “false and misleading information” the police chief gave the Citizen-Times about the incident.

Gold and silver are plunging in Asia as China opens, with silver down nearly $1 to an $18 handle and closing in on $18.50 rapidly, and gold down another $30 t0 $1245.

With China’s banking crisis suddenly being compared to the liquidity freeze in the wake of the Lehman collapse, the global financial outlook is suddenly beginning to resemble the fall of 2008.

At our Offshore Tactics Workshop in Santiago three months ago, Jim Rickards (author of the acclaimed Currency Wars) told the audience of roughly 500 people– (paraphrased)

‘If one of you stands up right now and heads for the exit, the rest of the audience probably won’t pay much attention. If ten of you do it, one or two people may notice and follow. But if 400 of you suddenly head for the exit, the rest of the audience would probably follow quickly.’

It’s a great metaphor for how our financial system works. The entire system is based on confidence. And as long as most people maintain this confidence, everything is fine.

But as soon as a critical mass of people loses confidence in the system, then it starts a chain reaction. More people start heading for the exit. Which triggers even more people heading for the exit.

This is the model right now across the system. And it’s especially pervasive in the banking system.

Modern banking is based on this ridiculous notion that banks don’t actually have to hang on to their customers’ funds.

Banks in the United States typically hold less than 10%, and even less than 5%, of their customers’ savings. This is particularly true among smaller regional banks.

As an example, BB&T bank is holding about $3.2 billion in cash equivalents on $131 billion in customer deposits. That’s a ratio of just 2.4%.

I saw this video when it was first released. The UN report states that the Free Syria Army (Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda) are using chemical weapons but our president states that it is Assad who is using them. Another war? For Obama to help establish a Caliphate under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood?

A simple question: is it sedition to restore the Constitution? We know the answer so the real question is where are the military and the oath keepers?

17 Signs That Most Americans Will Be Wiped Out By The Coming Economic Collapse

The vast majority of Americans are going to be absolutely blindsided by what is coming.  They don’t understand how our financial system works, they don’t understand how vulnerable it is, and most of them blindly trust that our leaders know exactly what they are doing and that they will be able to fix our problems.  As a result, most Americans are simply not prepared for the massive storm that is heading our way.  Most American families are living paycheck to paycheck, most of them are not storing up emergency food and supplies, and only a very small percentage of them are buying gold and silver for investment purposes.   They seem to have forgotten what happened back in 2008. 

When the financial markets crashed, millions of Americans lost their jobs.  Because most of them were living on the financial edge, millions of them also lost their homes.  Unfortunately, most Americans seem convinced that it will not happen again.  Right now we seem to be living in a “hope bubble” and people have become very complacent.  For a while there, being a “prepper” was very trendy, but now concern about a coming economic crisis seems to have subsided.  What a tragic mistake.  As I pointed out yesterday, our entire financial system is a giant Ponzi scheme, and there are already signs that our financial markets are about to implode once again.

Those that have not made any preparations for what is coming are going to regret it bitterly.  The following are 17 signs that most Americans will be wiped out by the coming economic collapse…

#1 According to a survey that was just released, 76 percent of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.  But most Americans are acting as if their jobs will always be there.  But the truth is that mass layoffs can occur at any time.  In fact, it just happened at one of the largest law firms in New York City.

#2 27 percent of all Americans do not have even a single penny saved up.

#3 46 percent of all Americans have $800 or less saved up.

#4 Less than one out of every four Americans has enough money stored away to cover six months of expenses.

#5 Wages continue to fall even as the cost of living continues to go up.  Today, the average income for the bottom 90 percent of all income earners in America is just $31,244.  An increasing percentage of American families are just trying to find a way to survive from month to month.

Obama Will Not Rest Until He Destroys Our Energy Production and Country

I told Congress in February that if they didn’t take action to fight climate change, then I would.

Today, I announced a plan of action to make good on that promise.

My administration is taking steps to cut carbon pollution, prepare our nation for the unavoidable impact of climate change, and put America’s best and brightest to work to solve this issue on a global scale.

One thing we know is we’ll face a well-organized and well-financed opposition by the special interests that profit from keeping things the way they are — and there are members of Congress who fundamentally deny the science on this issue.

But we cannot stand by any longer.

And, overall, these slogans and their promoters break down into to two primary models – predators and battered women.

In recent days, the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association (NCSA) has flip flopped on its support for HB 937, a common sense bill that would modernize North Carolina’s gun laws, and allow law-abiding citizens to better defend themselves and their families from predators who do not pay attention to gun laws. The reason for the NCSA’s reversal on this bill clearly revolves around the money the sheriffs collect, and the power they maintain, through our State’s outdated pistol permit system.

Aside from the fees the sheriffs are currently charging in the current system, each county’s sheriff has unlimited power to decide who may or may not purchase a handgun. That means your county’s sheriff can arbitrarily deny anyone their Second Amendment rights, absent any due process. For these reasons: money and power, the NCSA does not want this shameful, Jim Crow-era leftover to be eliminated. But HB 937 would do just that. It would eliminate it, and replace it with the fair and reliable National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). This is a dependable, computerized system that has been tried and tested, and in thirty-six states it is the sole background check system, eliminating old-fashioned pistol permits.

The NCSA has had a lot to say about what it would mean to eliminate the current system, a system in which they hold all the power. Let’s examine their statements, and contrast them with the facts:

Senate Bill Legalizes Illegal Aliens Who Have Least 2 DUIs

boozeThe Senate immigration bill as it currently stands will allow an illegal alien with two convictions “for driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated” to be granted legal status in this country.

If the alien is not then convicted of a third DUI after passage of the bill and before he is naturalized, he will remain eligible to eventually become a U.S. citizen.

And, even if an alien has been convicted of three or more DUIs, the bill allows the secretary of homeland security to waive the 2-DUI limit for illegal aliens seeking legalization if she believes it is “for humanitarian purposes, to ensure family unity, or if such a waiver is otherwise in the public interest.”

The bill brands an alien as a “habitual drunk driver” only after the alien has incurred three DUIs.

However, each of these three DUI convictions must be for an offense that happened on a separate date. Thus, theoretically, if an illegal alien were caught driving under the influence at 12:01 a.m one day, then went home and slept it off, then went out and got caught for driving under the influence again at 11:59 p.m. on the same day, he would only be counted as having one DUI under the Senate immigration bill.

The Scenario Moves Closer

Last September, I wrote a piece of fiction to illustrate the dangers of societal dependence upon electronic currency for day to day, minute to minute transactions.  Recent events have proven that we are far closer to such a scenario that most people realize –

(Fox Business News)  System outages at several Chinese banks since the weekend have exacerbated  concerns amongst the public about a credit crunch, after the central bank  tightened the availability of funds in the banking system as it tries to rein in  informal lending.

A money transfer system at Bank of China (BOC), the country’s third largest  lender, temporarily failed on Monday, and some customers at Bank of Nanjing also  could not transfer money this week.

On Sunday, a nationwide outage of automatic teller machines (ATMs) and Point of  Sales (POS) machines at China’s biggest bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of  China (ICBC), were tweeted across China’s popular Twitter-like Weibo.

BOC, Bank of Nanjing and ICBC have all said the outages were due to technical  problems, but this did not allay customer concerns of a larger problem in the  banking sector.

“I cannot withdraw money from ICBC and BOC, and don’t know who will be next,”  wrote blogger Wang Yangyu.

We have already seen similar, unexplained shutdowns of large portions of the British and Irish banking systems, as well as state declared “banking holidays” in Greece, Cyprus, and Spain.  There have already been some *limited* banking outages in the US, as well, such as the JMP “glitch” earlier this year which impacted millions of customers.

Having cash on hand is good, but having a pantry stocked with 90 days worth of food and other supplies is much better, for as Dickens wrote, it will be “the best of times, and the worst of times” and further, “The time was to come, when that wine too would be spilled on the street-stones, and when the stain of it would be red upon many there.”

Leftists laughably argue that progressive groups were “targeted” by the IRS

It’s good rule of thumb that you can judge the seriousness of  a scandal by how much those at the center of it try to deny their behavior, and failing that, try to mitigate their behavior.

The three-year long ATF/EPA/FBI/IRS/OSHA/etc. Executive Branch plot to harass 400+ Tea Party groups after their stunning successes in the 2010 mid-term elections was obviously orchestrated in the White House itself. When multiple federal agencies under the explicit control of the Executive begin targeting the exact same people for intimidation and harassment, no rational person will argue that it was by accident. The plotting was by design, for one reason: to prevent Barack Obama from being overwhelmed by grassroots support in the 2012 Presidential election.

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that such behavior is immoral, illegal, and unconstitutional. This behavior was designed to impede the ability of these 400+ groups to function and organize, to undermine their First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. It was an apparently effective plot to cripple political speech and undermine the social networking that is an essential part of political campaigning.

My fellow Americans, you cannot have a much more fundamental  assault on our federal Republic than an Presidency that abuses the power of various executive branch regulatory and law enforcement agencies, and who uses the weight of the federal government to immorally, illegally, and unconstitutionally suppress the opposition.
