Russian/Syrian military drill
Forebodings were voiced Wednesday, May 29, by senior Israeli military officers in the face of the widening military intervention in the Syria civil war by Russia, Iran, Hizballah and latterly Iraq too. They have made Syria’s civil war the platform for a Russian contest against the West and a ladder up which Iran and its proxy Hizballah are climbing to top Middle East regional power spot.
Russia, Iran and Hizballah are winning the contest by default against an unresisting US-led West and a hesitant Israel.
A senior IDF officer acknowledged on Wednesday, May 29, that Israel’s government and military leaders are at a loss on how to proceed. They have yet to recover from the calamitous miscalculation that Bashar Assad’s days were numbered to which they clung stubbornly for almost eighteen months.
Even today, some spokesmen refer to a “disintegrating Syria,” thereby losing sight of the major strategic and military changes overtaking the country that are entirely to Israel’s detriment as well as eroding its options against a nuclear Iran.
At a time that the US and Israel should be using their heaviest military guns to slow Iran’s race for a nuclear bomb, Tehran with Moscow’s backing has brought its military assets up close to Israel’s borders in Syria and Lebanon and openly threatens to use them.
The U.S. Senate recently had an opportunity to vote on a farm bill amendment that would have supported the rights of states to mandate GMO labeling laws. The amendment, S.AMDT.965, was introduced by Sen. Bernie Sanders with the aim “…to permit States to require that any food, beverage, or other edible product offered for sale have a label on indicating that the food, beverage, or other edible product contains a genetically engineered ingredient.”
This amendment quickly separated the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, on which U.S. senators believe in the rights of the people vs. the domination of corporations like Monsanto. Astonishingly, it also revealed that the two darling senators of the liberty movement — Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Ted Cruz — were willing to sell out the people and vote in favor of Monsanto. (They both voted against the amendment to allow states to set GMO labeling laws.)

I wish that I could provide video of this event but filming was not allowed. The reason given to me was that the panelists had agreed to not be filmed prior to the event. Why have a “Town Meeting” but limit its scope to the people in attendance? The good news is that nothing substantive was presented at this pro gun control meeting. At least in the first forty minutes: I could not take anymore and left.
Talking points:
1. Obama’s $100 billion brain mapping program is a good start to analyze mental illness.
2. The majority of the people want more gun control but the Republicans and the NRA are stopping Congress from enacting legislation.
3. David Price is now a statesman instead of a politician according to Dr. Meymandi.
4. All rights can be limited such as yelling fire in a crowded theater. This includes 2nd amendment rights where you do not need high capacity magazines.
5. The town meeting was not a debate on the 2nd amendment.
Observations:
1. The panelists were all pro gun control.
2. This venue was a backdoor approach to gun control using mental health issues.
3. David Price wanted people to believe that additional measures for purchasing firearms is only a matter of public safety.
I only wanted one question to be answered. Are all of the people buying ammunition across the country mentally ill?

Russia to send Syria missiles as spillover fears grow
Russia insisted Tuesday it would deliver anti-aircraft missiles to war-torn Syria despite international criticism and a border-area attack killed three Lebanese soldiers, adding to growing fears of a wider conflict.
Israel warned it would act if the Russian delivery went ahead, and Syria’s top rebel commander gave Hezbollah, the powerful Lebanese Shiite movement, a 24-hour ultimatum to stop fighting alongside regime forces.
The developments stoked tensions after the European Union decided to lift an embargo on weapons to Syria’s rebels, in a move the opposition reacted to with caution.
Syria’s regime joined its ally Russia in condemning the EU decision as an “obstruction” to peace efforts, while accusing the bloc of supporting and encouraging “terrorists”.
The United States said it supports the EU move as a show of “full support” for the rebels, despite its own refusal to provide arms it fears will end up in jihadist hands.
Be forewarned, the video below is quite graphic. It was apparently intended as a “morale inspiring message” to fellow rebel groups in Syria.
If cannibalism and other satanic acts are ‘morale inspiring’ to these monsters, then what does that say about the US administration which is funding and supporting them?
In the video a man who is believed to be a rebel commander named Khalid al-Hamad, who goes by the nom de guerre Abu Sakkar, bends over the government soldier, knife in hand. With his right hand he moves what appears to be the dead man’s heart onto a flat piece of wood or metal lying across the body. With his left hand he pulls what appears to be a lung across the open cavity in the man’s chest. According to two of Abu Sakkar’s fellow rebels, who said they were present at the scene, Abu Sakkar had cut the organs out of the man’s body. The man believed to be Abu Sakkar then works his knife through the flesh of the dead man’s torso before he stands to face the camera, holding an organ in each hand. “I swear we will eat from your hearts and livers, you dogs of Bashar,” he says, referring to supporters of Syrian President Bashar Assad. Off camera, a small crowd can be heard calling out “Allahu akbar” — God is great. Then the man raises one of the bloodied organs to his lips and starts to tear off a chunk with his teeth.

When the balloon goes up here, all of the Islamic radicals which the Obama administration has intentionally imported will be turning our country into a war zone similar to Syria. Be prepared to deal with this evil accordingly.

Italian students from the University of Bologna yesterday, 27 May 2013, countering police obstruction of a public meeting which they had planned in Verdi Square, adjacent to the university. The students are chanting “assassins, assassins” and “shoot us, shoot us” as they charged riot police, ultimately driving the police from the square, where a public meeting about unemployment, university policies, and ‘general resistance to the government’ was conducted.
As this video was posted for a Spanish audience, the comments are quite telling as regards to the tensions in Spain – here are some of the comments translated to English:
In Spain have 7 or 8 times over police … for back, side, and even among students
so if you see is the face of all the demonstrators (ie zero hooded) and if I want to compare kicking a riot shield with throwing stones and burning containers ….
In Spain riot police, Civil Guard and the Army are a conglomerate of Falangist and riot Nazis. If one can shoot a rubber ball [bullet] and make you blind, THEY DO [IT] WITH DESIRE.
In Spain with fewer eggs as you say, a woman lost an eye. Take the dogs we have in Spain by riot at that place and I’m sure things change.

Democrat Diane Denish ran unopposed in New Mexico’s 2010 gubernatorial election. (AP File Photo)
The Internal Revenue Service, in a letter dated November 16, 2011, asked the Albuquerque Tea Party why it didn’t host a “candidate rally” in 2010 for the lone Democratic gubernatorial candidate in New Mexico after it had hosted a “question and answer forum” for the Republican candidates.
On the Democrat side, then-Lt. Gov. Diane Denish was running for New Mexico governor unopposed, but five Republicans were running in the primary for the opportunity to face Denish in November.
On page four of the IRS letter, question 8 asked the Albuquerque Tea Party:
“In describing your Event Rallies you stated that you hosted a question and answer forum with the GOP Primary Candidates for Governor of the state, and that not all GOP candidates attended. You stated that since there was only one candidate in the Democratic primary, there was no comparison to be made in the primary.”
In Question 8a of the letter, the IRS directed the Albuquerque group to “Describe in detail the GOP Event Rally, including questions asked, and state the reasons you did not have a candidate rally for the lone Democratic candidate.”
Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup put foreclosures on hold this month while checking that they were in compliance with regulators’ revised guidelines for handling troubled borrowers in the 60 days before a foreclosure sale. (David Zalubowski / Associated Press)
Sales of homes in foreclosure by Wells Fargo & Co., JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Citigroup Inc. ground nearly to a halt after regulators revised their orders on treatment of troubled borrowers during the 60 days before they lose their homes.
The banks said they paused the sales on May 6 to make sure that their late-stage foreclosure procedures were in accordance with the guidelines. The banks wouldn’t say exactly which issues had been under scrutiny.
Bank of America Corp., by contrast, continued foreclosure sales at a normal pace, apparently confident its procedures met the revised restrictions.

More or less every modern politician talks about “freedom” or “liberty.” Actually, they don’t talk about it as much as they use it as a magic incantation. They go on at length about “our free country,” but if you could get them to define freedom, that definition would be something along the lines of “what we have.”
Once we’re past such self-praising nonsense, we’re still left with the original question: What exactly is this “liberty”? And then the trouble begins. There are dozens of definitions. This is a problem. We’re all going around talking about liberty, but no two of us mean precisely the same thing. If you’re looking for reasons why liberty gets so little real traction in the world, this would be a good place to start.
So, it’s about time that we clarified what we mean by these terms. And, since I’ve spent decades pursuing liberty, and since no one else seems to be addressing this, I’ll take on this chore myself.
First of all, I’m going to treat “liberty” and “freedom” as the same concept. After all, the word freedom comes to us from old English and liberty from old French, and they both mean the same thing: unconstrained.

Friend —
Trying to get Congress to pass good, progressive legislation isn’t easy — we know that pretty well by now.
That’s why this is so important: Right now, Congress is closer to passing comprehensive immigration reform than they’ve been in a generation.
Last Tuesday, a smart, bipartisan bill for comprehensive immigration reform moved ahead toward a full vote in the Senate — and that vote could happen in just a matter of weeks.
If there was ever a time to get off the sidelines, it’s now.
Simply add your name and say you’ll join our fight for immigration reform today.
Just as we’re going to rail on Congress when they cave to pressure from special interests and fail the people who sent them there, we’re going to rally behind them when they start getting things done.
The organizing on the ground, the Days of Action, the tweets, Facebook posts, and calls to Congress are working — but we absolutely can not let up now.
If we fail, it might be years before we get anywhere near this close again.
Keep going.

Chinese hackers have gained access to designs of more than two dozen major U.S. weapons systems, a U.S. report said on Monday, as Australian media said Chinese hackers had stolen the blueprints for Australia’s new spy headquarters.
Citing a report prepared for the Defense Department by the Defense Science Board, the Washington Post said the compromised U.S. designs included those for combat aircraft and ships, as well as missile defenses vital for Europe, Asia and the Gulf.
Among the weapons listed in the report were the advanced Patriot missile system, the Navy’s Aegis ballistic missile defense systems, the F/A-18 fighter jet, the V-22 Osprey, the Black Hawk helicopter and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
The report did not specify the extent or time of the cyber-thefts or indicate if they involved computer networks of the U.S. government, contractors or subcontractors.

US Secretary of State John Kerry put a package of proposals for reviving the moribund Israel-Palestinian peace process before Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and peace negotiator Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and then returned to Amman Monday, May 27.
He keeps the package’s contents firmly under his hat. However, according to some of the details revealed here for the first time by DEBKAfile’s sources, Kerry’s top-secret plan places on Israel the onus of major concessions including strategic and national assets, for the sake of buying the Palestinian leader’s consent to sit down and talk. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) is not required to pay anything real in return – although it was who stalled the peace negotiations in the first place.
As the first of these concessions, Kerry wants Israel to permit the Palestinians to build in Jericho for their prospective state an international airport for direct civilian flights to and from America and Europe. Those flights would cross Israeli air space and be coordinated with Israeli flight control authorities.
Our exclusive sources further disclose that, while Palestinian authorities would be in charge of security at the future Jericho airport, Israel would maintain control of passengers and freight traffic by means of computer and surveillance camera networks.
