It took our founding fathers over four years before convening what became the Constitutional Convention after the end of the Revolutionary War. And then it took two years to have nine states ratify it and usurp the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union.

September17, 1787 – The Constitution is signed by delegates
March 9, 1789 – The Constitution formally goes into effect.
I would rather follow a rag tag group of patriots fighting to restore Liberty than continue to pay tribute to a tyrannical government. This video is produced out of fear or by the government. But they did get one thing correct: Revolution should be the last resort. Restoring the Constitution should be the first. Can you imagine having this discussion with Samuel Adams?

JERUSALEM—Israeli warplanes are reported to have attacked an arms convoy traveling from Syria to Lebanon Tuesday night.
Syrian state TV confirmed Wednesday an Israeli airstrike on a military site near Damascus, according to the Associated Press. U.S. officials have reported the strike, but did not disclose the location, according to the AP.
The attacked weapons delivery appears to be an attempt by embattled Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to arm Hezbollah with SA-17 anti-aircraft missiles, according to the Israel Project (TIP).
“Israeli officials have been warning for months, and in increasingly explicit language, that Jerusalem will not allow the transfer of Syria’s advanced weapons including and especially chemical and biological weapons, to terrorist groups,” TIP noted in a press release.
This report conflicts with another report coming out from Israel.
Israeli warplanes attack Syrian arms depot
The Syrian government, by admitting that the Israel Air Force attacked the Jamaraya “Military Research Institute” (a euphemism for an arms deport), near Damascus, broke the barrier of silence the Israeli government had clamped down on its initial involvement in the Syrian conflict. It also indicated that Bashar Assad may have decided to pick up the gauntlet thrown down by Israel. The Syrian statement also refuted the report by foreign media from “Israeli sources” that Israeli jets had struck a convoy carrying sophisticated weapons from Syria to the Hizballah in Lebanon.
The Syrian statement was detailed: It said that the “Military Research Institute” developed Syrian army and Hizballah combat capabilities, that two Syrian solders were killed and five injured in the raid, and that a building had been leveled along with serious damage to military vehicles parked outside.
Israeli warplanes were described as coming in low from the north to evade Syrian [and Iranian] radar after flying over the Syrian peaks of the Hermon ridge. The Israeli jets were reported to have flown back to home base by the same route.
Last week, DEBKAfile reports, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent two senior aides to Washington and Moscow with an identical message: If Bashar Assad ventures to permit Syrian arms, conventional or chemical, to reach Hizballah, the Israeli Defense Forces will prevent their delivery by force.

The U.S. economy posted a stunning drop of 0.1 percent in the fourth quarter, defying expectations for slow growth and possibly providing incentive for more Federal Reserve stimulus.
The economy shrank from October through December for the first time since the recession ended, hurt by the biggest cut in defense spending in 40 years, fewer exports and sluggish growth in company stockpiles.
The Commerce Department said Wednesday that the economy contracted at an annual rate of 0.1 percent in the fourth quarter. That’s a sharp slowdown from the 3.1 percent growth rate in the July-September quarter.
The surprise contraction could raise fears about the economy’s ability to handle tax increases that took effect in January and looming spending cuts.

Is this story reality or fear mongering? We will have an answer in the near future. If the president is qualifying military leadership based on the ability to kill the people, the simple question normally would be to ask why. Unfortunately we know the answer. So is this a real story or fear mongering? Based on the lack of firearms and ammunition, it appears that the answer is irrelevant.
If you think this could never happen in the United States, you need to read the history of Gen. Sherman through the South.

As the stock market seems to be an ever rising juggernaut, so is the US dollar. Since a low in August, it also is rising everyday. At present, it is 1.355 against the Euro. As our dollar is devalued against even the Euro and inflation keeps rising (energy and food), the media and the administration tell us that the economy is rebounding. Look at the facts and decide for yourself. If you had converted your dollars to Euros six months ago, your return would be 12.5% (25% annualized).
Or, if you would have bought .223 two months ago, your return would be 200% (1200% annualized). What’s in your chamber?

Iron Dome anti-missile stationed in Haifa
Israeli Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Amir Eshel warned Tuesday, Jan. 29, that Syria is falling apart and no one knows what the next day may bring: “War may not break out tomorrow,” he said, “but we stand ready for any eventuality.”
If war is not expected tomorrow, why have Israel’s armed forces, including the air force, been on their highest level of preparedness since Friday, Jan. 25? The Syrian crisis may not technically fit the description of a state of war. However, the violent turbulence in that country may at any time spill over the border into hostilities in some shape or form.
The “no comment” stance on the Syrian civil war, long held by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak is untenable and pointless, especially after the latter cut short an overseas family trip to be flown home in a hurry Saturday.
No one believes the official explanation that the three Iron Dome anti-missile batteries stationed over the weekend in northern Israel – in the sight of many thousands of local dwellers – are there for a preplanned routine test – least of all after a senior Israeli officer told AFP that large Hizballah forces are parked at Bashar Assad’s chemical weapons stores poised ready to seize them.
If this happens, said the officer, “A decision to attack Syria or Lebanon will need to be implemented immediately.”
This is beginning to sound as though the politicians and the generals are not on speaking terms.
