This is part one of a multi-part interview with a government insider intimately familiar with the events that took place in Benghazi. In this part, he provides important background, and explains this administration is engaged in a massive cover-up.

DH: It’s been a while since we’ve discussed Benghazi. What have you heard lately?

II: Before I answer that, I want to get a few things off my chest. Every politician, whether it’s a congressman senator, diplomat, or their spokespeople and the media are lying to the American public every time they call the location of the attack a consulate. It was not. There was absolutely no diplomatic consulate in Benghazi. None. Words are important here. They can create a wrong image, an incorrect picture of what was really going on. The property where our Ambassador and other Americans were murdered was a rented villa consisting of a primary residence with a couple of outbuildings behind the actual house. The reason they’re still calling it a consulate is to subtly divert any questions about our activities there.

DH: Let’s go over this again; exactly what was taking place at Benghazi?

II: As I said, the place where the attack happened is one of the largest, one of the most active CIA operation centers in North Africa, if not in the entire Middle East. It was not a diplomatic station. It was a planning and operations center, a logistics hub for weapons and arms being funneled out of Libya. Unlike the embassy in Tripoli, there was limited security in Benghazi. Why? So the operation did not draw attention to what was going on there.

The problem we face is simple: we have built our foundation on sand instead of rock. If we do not define our personal beliefs first, we can never build a tribe (or country) in the future:

What are the essential threads of philosophy that bind us in common cause?  What do we believe and how do we make our belief explicit?  Can we state our beliefs so clearly and concisely that they function as a beacon to attract and retain conservative patriots in our cause?

Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Middle East military spotlight swung around from Gaza to the Syrian war with steps for the start of US and NATO intervention in that conflict. Without spelling this out, a game changer began unfolding when a joint Turkish-NATO team began making a site survey for the deployment of Patriot Air and Missile Defense Systems, manned by American military teams. The team, said the statement from Ankara, will assess where to station the missiles and how many would be needed. It reiterated that the system is “for defensive purposes” and not for a “no-fly zone or offensive operations,” but just for use “against an air or missile threat from Syria.”

However, the Patriots in combination with already installed elements of the missile shield, will command an area beyond the Turkish-Syrian border – all of northern Syria up to and including the embattled towns of Aleppo and Homs, DEBKAfile’s military sources report.

Their presence will impede the operations of Assad’s most effective and lethal means of war against the rebels in that region – air force bombardment.
The positioning of US anti-missile missiles in Turkey coincides with the rebels’ success in destroying the Assad regime’s key air and radar stations in southern Syria and along the Jordanian border. The two thrusts add up to a coordinated military effort in northern and southern Syria to seize control of the skies in both regions from Assad’s control and push his forces back into central Syria.

An Austrian banking source has reportedly claimed that Deutsche Bank ‘fulfilled’ one gold repatriation in recent years with the help of Tungsten and further claims that the tungsten salted gold bars have turned up in Asia.

In 2009, Rob Kirby first uncovered detailed information regarding a massive plot to replace 400 oz good delivery gold bars with highly sophisticated tungsten filled fakes – and even provided evidence that the bars had been swapped with the gold held at Fort Knox.

Widely scoffed at by the financial media in 2009, Kirby appears to have released a Pulitzer worthy story nearly half a decade ahead of its time, as if the Austrian source’s claims are true and Deutsche Bank has in fact fulfilled a recent gold repatriation request with gold plated tungsten, the ramifications are that not only is every single claim made by GATA regarding gold and silver manipulation are 100% accurate, but that real, physical metal is now in desperately short supply and the jig is nearly up for the bullion bank cartel.

In a resounding blow to the combat capabilities of Bashar Assad’s army against external enemies, Syrian rebels destroyed their most important electronic warning radar station facing Israel – M-1 – Monday, Nov. 26, DEBKAfile reports exclusively from its military sources.

This Russian-built station monitored Israeli warplanes’ takeoff and landing activities at air bases in the Negev and Hatzerim in the south and tracked them up to the Syrian border. The facility was designed to guide Syrian missiles targeting any point on the Israeli map, in sync with air defense facilities south of Damascus and on the Golan Heights. The radar’s range also covered naval movements in Mediterranean waters off the shores of Israel and Lebanon.

Western military sources told DEBKAfile that the destruction of this vital facility has blinded the two eyes which Syrian air, air defense and missile forces had trained on Israel. It has therefore crippled, though not completely dismantled, Bashar Assad’s ability to got to war against Israel, Jordan or Saudi Arabia.

M-1 radar also swept all parts of Jordan and northern Saudi Arabia where the important Tabuk air base is situated. Deployed there in addition to the Saudi Air Force are French fighter-bombers ready to go to war against Syria.

If you would like to help organize and become a member of a community resource which will provide volunteers to aid the Wake County NC area in the event of fire, flood, storm or other emergency events please join us.

Initially we will be looking for individuals with skills in any aspect of emergency response to help train new members. Police officers, Paramedics, Firemen, former military, survivalist, hunters to name a few, will be the backbone of this organization.

German Government Wants Banks to Draw Up Living Wills

FRANKFURT–The German government plans to require large banks to prepare so-called living wills outlining what should happen if the bank runs into deep financial trouble, a spokesman for the Finance Ministry said Saturday, confirming a report in daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

The goal is to have a roadmap determining whether banks threatened with collapse should be shut down or restructured, in either case with an eye to limiting the burden on taxpayers. Around 10 German banks would be affected by the plan being drawn up in the Finance Ministry.

Earlier this month, German financial regulator BaFin said it had already asked major banks to compose living wills laying out recovery and resolution plans which–in case of severe financial distress–would allow them to be wound down in an orderly fashion. BaFin said the plans should be submitted by the end of next year, though Germany’s two biggest banks, Deutsche Bank AG (>> Deutsche Bank AG) and Commerzbank AG(>> Commerzbank AG), would be expected to turn their plans in earlier.

Deutsche Bank is considered a systematically relevant bank globally, and due to U.S. regulations submitted a living will to U.S. financial authorities earlier this year.

The Finance Ministry’s plan foresees banks submitting their living wills for approval to BaFin, which could ask for changes, the spokesman confirmed.
