The House of Representatives will vote today on yet another continuing resolution to fund the never-ending increases for government spending. The media and both parties are keeping this CR as quiet as possible due to the consequences in the November elections as our “elected” officials show their cowardice as described by Sen. Tom Coburn in his book “The Debt Bomb”.
In what is another Tea Party debacle, I have not seen once announcement to call US Representatives to vote against this bill and put the country ahead of politics. So who is really controlling the Tea Party and the Occupy Movement? When will the Tea Party shed its adherence to the Republican party and realize that the fate of the country is at stake?
Any member of Congress who votes for this CR should automatically be targeted in this election. It is disappointing that what should be the major issue in this campaign is relegated to obscurity regardless of the consequences to our children.
What is even more disappointing is that this CR will send more foreign aid to both Egypt and Libya.
A judge has permanently block the provision of the NDAA that allows military detention of American citizens that is supported by both Obama and Romney. Let’s hope that this decision on Hedges et al v. Obama et al, U.S. District Court will stand and not be overruled by a “higher” court”.

The US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three staff members at the US consulate in Benghazi were deliberately murdered Tuesday night Sept 11 just after memorial ceremonies were held in America for the victims of the 9/11 outrage. DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report exclusively that far from being a spontaneous raid by angry Islamists, it was a professionally executed terrorist operation by a professional Al Qaeda assassination team, whose 20 members acted under the orders of their leader Ayman al Zawahri after special training. They were all Libyans, freed last year from prisons where they were serving sentences for terrorism passed during the late Muammar Qaddafi’s rule.
In a video tape released a few hours before the attack, Zawahri called on the faithful to take revenge on the United States for liquidating one of the organization’s top operatives, Libyan-born Abu Yahya al-Libi in June by a US drone in northwestern Pakistan.
Its release was the “go” signal for the hit team to attack the US diplomats in Benghazi.
To mask their mission, they stormed the consulate on the back of a violent protest by hundreds of Islamists against a film said to insult Prophet Muhammed produced by a Florida real estate agent called Sam Bacile, who has been described as of Israeli origin.

Glenn Beck will devote his entire show at 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, September 14th to Mitt Romney’s qualifications to be President. Based on his commentary concerning this special, the show will put Mr. Romney in a favorable light.
I will watch this special since I want to vote for a man who will represent our country’s principles and the Constitution. At this point in time, I cannot vote for him based on his support of the NDAA in violation of the Constitution, his willingness to bypass Congress to declare war and his actions at the Republican convention concerning the rules committee and voter suppression. However, we all know that Americans want to have hope in these depressing times. I know that I will still place my hope in the Lord instead of political parties. Although a choice at the ballot for a good man instead of the lesser of two evils would be a refreshing change.

Both men claim to be able to “fix” the country as president, and by doing so betray their government-centered philosophy. We cannot, as a country, even entertain the thought of a presidential candidate who doesn’t promise to use government to “fix” things.
This may lead some (self included) to question the value of a political system based on lies and fantasy modern American democracy, where the people vote into office the best liar, who tells lies based solely upon what will get him into office. What’s worse is that everyone with half a brain knows they are being lied to.
What modern American democracy boils down to is the hope that “my party” (whichever it happens to be) wins, or -perhaps even worse- that the other one loses.
No president or political leader can ever “fix” anything. The best government can ever hope to do is punish evil, allow good to continue unimpeded, and get out of the way. At this point, “fixing” our nation is a matter of the current government system stepping back, taking its hands off, and chopping itself down. Drastically.
Now…what government has ever done that of its own volition? Even the good king’s Magna Carta’s inception and implementation came “strongly recommended”.
Obama/Biden/Democrats claim to be the solution, or at least to have the solutions. More government. Blatant and unabashed Leninist Marxists.

Once upon a time we thought that literally throwing cash out of rapidly moving objects was a privilege strictly reserved for Fed chairmen. Not any more. Moments ago, a car chase in South Los Angeles went horribly right, when two bank thieves who managed to find a Bank of America branch which actually had cash in it, and robbed it, proceeded to throw cash out of the moving car as it was being chased by a cohort of cops. Since the getaway car happened to be a Volvo, they naturally failed to get away, but not before they became local Robin Hood-type heroes to the massive gathering of gawkers all of whom would appear gainfully employed if only they were not just standing there, doing nothing, and hoping to steal the already stolen money in a major LA intersection at 11:30 am local time on a Wednesday. At least we now have the first two joint candidates to take over the BOE’s soon to be vacant governorship.

In what appears to be another attempt at propaganda, the story concerning the murder of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens appears to have multiple versions. He obviously was not killed by rocket fire in an automobile ambush. Whether he was killed at the embassy, a safe house whose location was given to Islamists by the government or in a car, this tragedy will be used to incite fear and war mongering. The following pictures coming out parading a dead ambassador will not soon be forgotten.
I pray for Mr. Stevens’ family, our soldiers and our nation.

Does President Obama want Israel to bomb Iran before the election? If we had more faith in this Administration’s competence, we’d be tempted to think so.
Both publicly and behind the scenes, Administration officials have insisted they oppose a unilateral Israeli strike for many reasons: Diplomacy and sanctions still need time to work; an Israeli attack could destabilize the region; Israel doesn’t have the military means to do the job thoroughly; and so on.
It’s no secret the Israelis don’t want to strike Iran either, provided the U.S. is serious about keeping a bomb out of the mullahs’ hands. But Israel’s confidence in Mr. Obama’s seriousness is fading fast. This week, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Bloomberg Radio that “we’re not setting deadlines” for Iran to halt its program.
That prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to note that “those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don’t have a moral right to place a red light before Israel.”
The National Guard has a program called “The State Sponsorship Program”. This program is just another piece in the puzzle for …well I will post some stuff about it from the website and let you be the judge:

Many people realize that the financial situation in the U.S. is deteriorating, yet these same people continue on with their daily lives assuming things will get better or will not affect them. Those that still have a stream of income are in much better shape than many but they have not thought about the reality of losing that income and what will follow. Those that have lost their income but still have sufficient savings to live on have not thought about the day when that money runs out and what will follow.
This is the first time in many years that I have put pen to paper for a lengthy letter, so please forgive my misspellings, poor handwriting or any other errors. I will probably do this in one go and be finished with it. I won’t need much of this new notebook. It’s a nice room, desk and chair, but really, no computer? I just wish they would stop the hammering outside. I need to focus in order to write well.
No one person could possibly expect to know the full truth about such a complex history, so near to its time. But I know what I know, saw what I saw, and heard what I heard. Now it’s time to set the record straight, at least about what transpired between some of the key players in the lead up to the recent events.
What I have heard called “the plan” began as idle office chat, nothing more. (Of course, not much chat is ever truly idle at the very highest levels of power, between senior presidential advisors.) The first time I heard it mentioned was over lunch with Dennis in the White House Mess, down in the basement next to the situation room. We were at a quiet corner table of the wood-paneled dining room, tossing ideas for the next talking points back and forth. Routine.
One of right-wing hate radio’s loudest and most poisonous voices was conducting an embarrassing public feud with our press secretary. The President had trapped himself in a seeming contradiction. The video and audio were both damning, and one must admit, very funny—if one’s goal was to make the President look and sound like a liar and a fool. The Youtube videos were getting millions of hits; the TV comics were not letting it go. We had been knocked completely off message, the optics were horrible, and our favorability ratings were collapsing at a crucial moment. (It seems like an ice-age ago when such trivialities actually mattered to me.)
At odds – and no longer talking
President Barack Obama’s refusal Tuesday Sept. 11 to see Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu because “the president’s schedule will not permit that,” left Jerusalem thunderstruck – and Washington too.
At one stroke, round after round of delicate negotiations on Iran between the White House, Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem, the US National Security Council, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta collapsed. They had aimed at an agreement on a starting point for the meeting that had been fixed between the two leaders for Sept. 28 in New York to bridge their differences over an attack on Iran’s nuclear program.
By calling off the meeting, the US president has put paid to those hopes and publicly humiliated the Israel prime minister, turning the clock back to the nadir of their relations brought about by the comment by Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Aug. 30: “I don’t want to be complicit if they [Israel] choose to do it” – meaning attack Iran.
By rebuffing Netanyahu, the president demonstrated that the top US soldier was not just talking off the cuff but representing the president’s final position on a possible Israel strike to preempt Iran’s nuclear program.
Tuesday, the US Defense Secretary said: “If Iran decides to make a nuclear weapon, the US would have a little more than a year to stop it.” He added that the United States has “pretty good intelligence” on Iran.
“It’s roughly about a year right now. A little more than a year. And so … we think we will have the opportunity once we know that they’ve made that decision, take the action necessary to stop (Iran),” Panetta said on CBS’s “This Morning” program.
