Demand for Petroleum Decreases as the Economy “Recovers”?

The price of gasoline keeps rising as consumption decreases. My previous article outlining how our government is “playing” us with their energy policy is either:

  1. a means to control us
  2. another display of incompetence
  3. both of the above

As long as the American people submit, the only change we will receive is more control and propaganda. The following excerpt outlines the continuing depression as shown by a decline in energy usage. In what free market economy does the price rise when supplies are not constrained and demand has decreased? In what free market does the stock market rise as volume collapses?

DTOM Contributor Brandon Raub Arrested By FBI For Facebook

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVWA_u6Uk_Q

I just got word that apparently one of the contributors on this site has been arrested/detained over Facebook posts.  The Police, FBI and Secret Service swarmed in and took Brandon Raub to John Randolph Metal Hospital.   This patriotic Marine had posted 5 posts on the Dont-Tread-On.Me blog linked below.  Just glancing over them they seem to be of the religious and patriotic fight for truth and justice.  He used the blog to have people join his FaceBook group and even did and promoted a Richmond Liberty March.

Georgia high school choruses reportedly not diverse enough to perform with Atlanta orchestra

Two high school choruses will reportedly not perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra this year because their groups are not racially-diverse enough.

WSBTV.com reports that the Walton and Lassiter High School choruses in Cobb County will not get a chance to perform with Atlanta’s professional this fall as a result of the determination.

“This year, the schools were informed by symphony officials that their choruses are not diverse enough, and that the symphony would be inviting a third, more diverse chorus,” Cobb County Schools spokesman Jay Dillon told the website.

Local residents told the website the decision reeked of discrimination.

Bomb Threats at Theaters Across the Country

There are also numerous reports from across the country that other theaters are also being searched. Click here for a report in the Tennesseean about the threat in Springfield, Tennessee.

US Treasury Admits It Conducted A Circular Ponzi Scheme For Years

Tim Geithner has admitted the Ponzi scheme currently in place by the US Treasury concerning Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This is why a fiat money system will always collapse: it is based on perception. In our case the perception is guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States. However, the view of the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency is fast approaching its end.

David DeGerolamo

Full Income Sweep of All Future Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Earnings to Benefit Taxpayers for Their Investment

The agreements will replace the 10 percent dividend payments made to Treasury on its preferred stock investments in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with a quarterly sweep of every dollar of profit that each firm earns going forward.

This will help achieve several important objectives, including:

·        Making sure that every dollar of earnings that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac generate will be used to benefit taxpayers for their investment in those firms.
·        Ending the circular practice of the Treasury advancing funds to the GSEs simply to pay dividends back to Treasury.
·        Acting upon the commitment made in the Administration’s 2011 White Paper that the GSEs will be wound down and will not be allowed to retain profits, rebuild capital, and return to the market in their prior form.
·        Supporting the continued flow of mortgage credit by providing borrowers, market participants, and taxpayers with additional confidence in the ability of the GSEs to meet their commitments while operating under conservatorship.
·        Providing greater market certainty regarding the financial strength of the GSEs.

Syria’s neighbors braced for chemical threat. Assad warns Turkey on Stingers

Syrian CBW ordnanceThe US and its allies are discussing a worst-case scenario that could require up to 60,000 ground troops to go into Syria to secure chemical and biological weapons sites following the fall of the Assad government, an unnamed American source said Thursday night, Aug.16.

This scenario postulates the disintegration of his security forces, he said, leaving chemical and biological weapons sites vulnerable to pillaging. It assumes the sites could not be destroyed by aerial bombings in view of health and environmental hazards.

“There is no imminent plan to deploy ground forces,” the source insisted. This is just a worst-case scenario.

DEBKAfile’s military sources find in this disclosure a bid to psychologically prepare the world for the prospect of chemical warfare, as the dialogue between Bashar Assad and his neighbors gains in violence.
The American special forces deployed on the Jordanian-Syrian border and in bases in Israel and Turkey clearly perceive a chemical-biological weapon threat. Military and medical preparations are being quietly put in place. Reconnaissance teams from potentially targeted countries have infiltrated Syria. They are on the lookout for any chemical missiles being moved into firing positions, although it is taken into account that Assad may be shifting decoys and that not all the real launchings can be stopped.

The Syrian ruler may also decide to transfer chemical explosives to Hizballah in Lebanon. Israel is on record as warning it would prevent this.

Gas Prices: We Are Being Played by the Government

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation.

As gas prices rise and demand decreases due to economic conditions, the following excerpts show how energy and food are being used by the government to manipulate these commodities for their own purposes. The Obama administration’s views on energy have been inconsistent and without logic. The coal industry has been decimated by government regulations and labor unions to make the cost of this form of energy necessarily skyrocket. The law requires 40% of corn production in the United States to be used to make ethanol. The energy required to make a gallon of ethanol is approximately the same energy that is released in its combustion so the net energy production is zero. The reality is that ethanol reduces the mileage per gallon so the average American must buy about 10% more ethanol based gasoline to drive the same amount of miles.

Who wins? The government collects another 10% in taxes. What are the consequences?

1. Reduced mileage/increased energy usage
2. Increased taxes
3. Motor/hose corrosion
4. Higher corn prices
5. Higher livestock prices

We are being played by the government but the real goal is control. Whoever controls your food and energy controls you. Liberty guarantees our freedom and it will be defended. How do I know? Because the government understands this core founding principle and knows we will defend ourselves but more importantly, we will defend Liberty. Do you really think the National Weather Service will be receiving those hollow point bullets?

MSNBC’s Touré: Romney Engaging In The ‘Niggerization’ Of Obama

And this is how we will lose America. Divided by race. Divided by class warfare. Divided by political ideology. Divided by any means possible because an internal attack is the only way to defeat the “United” States. Is Touré correct in his assertion? To answer that question would require us to consider his viewpoint and become embroiled in another distraction – I will pass.

Romney makes a valid point and the misdirection by MSNBC should be dismissed. What we must concentrate on is our future. Our future is not the continuation of a central government that is more concerned about buying ammunition to defend itself against its own people. We do not have to do anything but watch this government implode by its own corruption, arrogance and greed. Our future is the American spirit, morality and our founding principles. Public virtue will either save our people or we will succumb to the policies currently in place to divide and conquer us.

Cincinatti Man Attacked Because Teens Were Bored

(Cincinatti.com) NORTH COLLEGE HILL, 15 August — Pat Mahaney was walking home Saturday with a six-pack of beer, looking forward to a quiet evening watching sports, when something hit him in the back of the head.

“The next thing I knew I woke up on my neighbor’s front step and the life squad was there,” the 45-year-old North College Hill resident said Wednesday.

Six teenagers “were just bored and were looking for something to do,” a police report said, when they ambushed Mahaney as he turned off Simpson Avenue onto Dallas Avenue. He was immediately knocked unconscious.

“I don’t remember anything,” Mahaney, 45, said as he recovered at his mother’s home. “I was walking home from the store – and ‘bam.’”

It was probably a blessing he was knocked out during the worst of the brutal attack – one of the teens even grabbed a can of beer and hurled it at his head.

The boys face felony charges of aggravated riot and felonious assault. The first five arrestees were: twin brothers Tyree and Terrell Mizzell, Lamont Champion and Daquan Cain, all 13-year-olds; and Michael E. James, 14.

The sixth and final suspect was arrested Tuesday. His name was not immediately available Wednesday.

The Well Is Dry

The world’s gold supply is drying up. As shown below, people have sold their gold assets and the future looks bleak

David DeGerolamo

The Portuguese Run Out Of Gold To Sell

“Business has gone from great to terrible in a matter of months. The sad truth is that most of my clients have already sold all of their gold rings,” is anecdotal evidence of a growing trend that Bloomberg reports in Portugal. Historically the home of Europe’s biggest relative gold reserves, cash-for-gold shops rose 29% in 2011 (average 2 store openings per day) – but now some are closing. Portugal’s gold exports increased by more than five times to 519.4 million euros last year from 102.1 million euros in 2009, according to data published on the Lisbon-based National Statistics Institute’s website.

Michelle Obama Is Fired Up but I Am Fed Up

Friend —

Four years ago, Barack stood on a stage at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. He accepted our party’s nomination, and then told our country what he intended to do as President.

Let’s think for a second about what’s happened since then.

Our businesses have added 4.5 million jobs in the last 29 months. The typical middle-class family has saved $3,600 in tax cuts over his first term. We passed historic health care reform. The war in Iraq has ended. It’s now easier for women to fight for equal pay for equal work. And gay and lesbian service members can no longer be denied a place in our nation’s military because of who they are or who they love.

But we’ve got to finish what we started. Soon we’re gathering for our convention in Charlotte — and Barack and I would like to meet a few of you there.

Pitch in $5 or whatever you can to help build this campaign in these last 82 days — and you’ll be automatically entered to be our personal guest in Charlotte.

This is a pretty amazing opportunity. The campaign will fly you and a guest to Charlotte and cover your hotel for the three nights you’re there. And each night, you’ll get some of the best seats in the house to watch the big speeches.

You’ll meet Barack, and during his speech on Thursday night, I’d like you to sit with me.

This is going to be an amazing event for our campaign. There is truly only one like it.

So enter for your chance to join us now — and I hope we’ll see you in Charlotte in a few weeks:

Are you as fired up as I am?

The west has just become a giant banana republic

The west has just become a giant banana republicLegal precedent means nothing. Rule of law means nothing. Free speech means nothing. Their own treaties mean nothing. It’s unbelievable. Anyone in the west who honestly thinks he’s still living in a free society is either a fool or completely out of touch.

If that seems too radical an idea, consider that ECUADOR is now the only nation which stands to defend freedom and human rights against an assault from the United States, the United Kingdom, and their spineless allies.

The west has just become a giant banana republic. Have you hit your breaking point yet? If not now… when?

Anonymous Operation TrapWire – Press Release

Greetings Citizens of the United States of America —

This weekend, it was disclosed by Wikileaks the details about a system known as “TrapWire” that uses facial recognition and other techniques including high-end artificial intelligence to track and monitor individuals using countless different closed-circuit cameras operated by cities and other institutions, including private businesses. This program also monitors all social media on the internet. The software is billed as a method by which to prevent terrorism, but can of course also be used to provide unprecedented surveillance and data-mining capabilities to governments and corporations – including many with a history of using new technologies to violate the rights of citizens. TrapWire is already used in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Texas, DC, London, and other locales around the USA.

The ex-CIA agents who help run the firm are old friends of Stratfor vice president Fred Burton, whom they’ve briefed on their own capabilities in e-mails obtained by Anonymous hackers and provided to WikiLeaks. Stratfor has engaged in several surveillance operations against activists, such as those advocating for victims of the Bhopal disaster – on behalf of large U.S. corporations; Burton himself was revealed to have advocated “bankrupting” and “ruining the life” of activists like Julian Assange in e-mails to other friends. TrapWire is extremely expensive to maintain, and is usually done so at taxpayer expense; Los Angeles county alone has spent over $1.4 million dollars on the software’s use in a single three-month period of 2007. Power Is Color Blind

The above video shows South African police slaughtering striking miners. Although the race card is being played effectively in the United States to divide us, it is not about race: it is about power and control as shown in this video.

Does anyone want to comment on the massive amounts of hollow point bullets that our government is buying? It is not for target practice and this type of ammunition is illegal to use under the Treaty of Versailles. What kind of freedom makes people pay tribute to a centralized power structure which then uses it to buy 4 rounds of ammunition for each citizen in the nation? That we know of. I do not see either political party addressing what should be our number one campaign issue. And that is why they will continue.

David DeGerolamo

A Modern Day Worker Revolt in South Africa

In a stunning and shocking turn of events at Lonmin’s Marikana platinum mine in South Africa, Reuters shows this extremely graphic clip of police opening fire on striking minersA Reuters cameraman says he saw at least seven bodies after the shooting, which occurred when police laying out barricades of barbed wire were outflanked by some of an estimated 3,000 miners massed on a rocky outcrop near the mine, northwest of Johannesburg. Marx is not dead. In fact, far from it.
