It’s comforting to think “I can’t do anything to resist the Central State and its financial Plutocracy,” but it’s not true. There are many of acts of resistance you can pursue in your daily life; here are 12 perfectly legal ones.
That we are powerless is one of the key social control myths constantly promoted by the Status Quo. What better way to keep the serfs passive than to reinforce a belief in their powerlessness against the expansive Central State and its financial feudalism?
But we are not powerless. Our complicity gives the aristocracy its power. Remove our complicity and the aristocracy falls.
The pathway of dissent is to resist financial feudalism and its enforcer, the expansive Central State. Here are twelve paths of resistance any adult can legally pursue in the course of their daily lives:
1. Support the decentralized, non-market economy. The core ideology of consumerism and financialization is that non-market assets and experiences have no status or financial value. This includes social capital, meals with friends, projects done cooperatively with friends, home gardens and thousands of other decentralized activities that cannot be financialized into centralized market transactions. Identity and social status are established in the non-market economy by collaboration, sharing, conviviality and generosity. Decentralized generally means localized; farmers markets are examples of local market economies where the transactions are in cash (so banks can’t skim transactions fees) and the money stays in the local economy rather than flowing to some distant concentration of capital.
If you start valuing non-market assets and experiences as the most important markers of high status, you are resisting both financialization and consumerism.
Top-down centralized “solutions” imposed by the Central State are the problem, not the solution, as they further the concentration of wealth and power into unstable monocultures. Stop looking to overly complex “reforms” and centralized solutions to unsustainable systems and start exploring decentralized, localized solutions that bypass both the Central State and its financial aristocracy.

The FAA has issued restrictions for the airspace surrounding Chicago during the upcoming G-8 Summit that authorize the use of deadly force. What are the criteria that determines whether an aircraft (or model rocket) poses an imminent security threat? I will give the FAA credit for one thing, they have restricted every conceivable type of aerial means to attack this summit except trained birds. Now we know why urban warfare drills were being conducted over downtown Chicago in April.

The following chart represents the Austrian Money Supply instead of the information calculated by the Federal Reserve. The correlation between the Obama administration and the increase in the true money supply is easily seen. Since the House of Representatives is responsible for spending and budgets, we can also see that neither political party is impacting the money supply. Whether the money supply has a correlation with the thoughts expressed below by Peter Schiff is left to the reader. I would suggest that part of this problem is the lack of a federal budget for three years.

Is it too late to turn things around? That’s a question that has plagued Glenn over the past few weeks and months as he sees the country slide further and further into progressivism, socialism, and even anarchy. On a day marked by communist protests in NYC, Glenn was struck with the need to explain why he had doubts that things could be turned around, and why he ultimately does feel that those who live lives based in principles and values and faith will win.

Two weeks have passed since reporters Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami – friends to me and many others at the newspaper – were attacked on a Saturday night as they drove home from a show at the Attucks Theatre. They had stopped at a red light, in a crowd of at least 100 young people walking on the sidewalk. Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began.
My question is simple: why did it take two weeks for this newspaper to report an attack on their own reporters? Is the United States still a Republic which maintains order through the rule of law? Once we have two (or more) sets of laws based on any type of classification, we have lost the basis of our nation’s foundation under the Declaration of Independence:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
How long will we submit to injustice? Why is Eric Holder still the Attorney General? When self-evident truths are ignored by the media and the government, there is only one alternative left for liberty.

I am calling for a III Liberty Conference in Washington DC just days before the Election and the Buy a Gun Day.We are in this place of inaction rooted in indecision, in a time that requires direct, aggressive action to counter the efforts of the Enemies of Liberty.Calls for us to mix and mingle in OWS and similar steps are too little, too late. Calls for us to engage in Secret Squirrel machinations are a stain upon the noble goal of Restoration of the Constitution, as ratified.We need to short circuit the process in a way that declares who we are, what we intend, and conveys our absolute commitment. We need to stand up and be counted.
We will have Liberty or we will embrace Death.
The resistance has started, kicked off by a Liberty Summit which attracted attendees from ten states along with several representatives of other groups. In attendance was the Ohio Valley Minutemen who read a prepared statement that met with general agreement. Action will be taken in the weeks to come as a result of this summit and other PatCom(n)s arond the nation over the past several months.
Along with the efforts of Brock Townsend in North Carolina it was a good day for the Liberty Movement as well as patriot/freedom groups. Everyone who attended is gratefully acknowledged and those who were there know who they are and who they met. Thank you.
It was an extraordinary meeting which heard from all parties and were able to agree on definite actions that each could endorse, support and perform, some to a greater degree than others, but all agreed.
Okay, having dispensed with the minutes of the meeting I will get to the meat of the matter.
One must understand the forces we are facing and the condition of the nation at this point in time. For those who were unable or unwilling to attend any of the PatComs, the Summit or a militia meeting in the past few months, there is something evil brewing in this nation and the time for action has arrived. No one should take these words as a signal to move forward, but to begin the process of hardening oneself to the fact that there is no political solution left to the people.
While much of Europe wallows in recession, the economy of this volcanic island in the mid Atlantic is growing at a clip that has surprised many people, thanks to a currency fall – in which the crown lost almost half its value to the euro – an export and tourism boom as well as growing consumer confidence.

Only a few years ago, a banking boom in which the sector’s assets grew to 10 times the country’s GDP lured many of Iceland’s 320,000 population from traditional industries into the world of finance. Fisherman got into banking and sailors speculated on booming real estate.
Those heady days have gone. Gas-guzzling Land Rovers have been replaced with fuel-efficient Volkswagens, a sign perhaps of a more sober consumer mood in which economic growth is based on a steady expansion of exports rather than flash-in-the-pan speculation.
Al Qaeda flag over the Benghazi Courthouse after the kinetic action by the president
Our government has told us that the war on terror is over. The death of Osama bin Laden and the damage done to Al Qaeda have eliminated any possibility of future attacks. Here is the announcement by the Department of State last week:
“The war on terror is over.”
“Now that we have killed most of al Qaida,” the source said, “now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism.”
In fact, this news has emboldened the president to make this a campaign issue as the first anniversary of bin Laden’s death approaches on Wednesday, May 2. But the consequences of the president’s narcissism are impacting the Middle East as Al Qaeda seizes control of the rebel factions in Iraq and Syria. It seems like just yesterday that a peace accord was signed between Syria’s president Assad and the US endorsed Muslim Brotherhood rebels. Are the rebels in Syria actually part of the Muslim Brotherhood which has the blessing of this administration in its efforts to establish a new Muslim Caliphate? Or is the Muslim Brotherhood a front for Al Qaeda as we saw in Libya? And who is the president a front for? One thing is certain, he is an affront to our nation’s future.
The war in the Middle East is ramping up quickly: let’s hope that America chooses wisely.
