Cattle Conversation At the Commodity Broker’s Office

Before Ann Barnhardt went Galt this week, she made a series of videos outlining what was happening in the cattle futures market in March, 2011. This is the fourth cartoon in the series.

Now, more than ever before, think OPSEC

There’s no question that things have escalated, just in the last two weeks.  That which the perceptive and cautious among the population have been speaking about and preparing for over the past many years is, with stunning speed, now becoming evident even to the average American, and to the world.

This thing has been quietly gaining mass and momentum for a decade or more.  Most were comfortably oblivious.  Some were watchful, even nervous, to see if we could head off our worst fears.  We tried to head this day off – we spoke in our communities, advocated issues and candidates, some lead local rallies, or went to Washington DC to be heard, and many of us gave gentle admonition to family and friends about what would happen if we didn’t shake the disease.

We also planned for the worst, preparing against a day when we might have to be self-sufficient in the face of an economic calamity, and the dissolution of polite society into a golden horde of fearful, hungry people who had lost more than they even knew they had.

Imagine That – Occupy Memphis Meets Memphis TEA Party

While I realize what the real intent of Occupy Wall Street is, I also realize that most occupiers do not. I wrote about joining patriot groups with Occupy [Insert City] on October 3, 2011. Once I removed the knives in my back, I realized that both sides have been too polarized in their dogma to even consider the possibility. This became even more apparent when the labor unions joined the movement.

My last discussion with occupiers (or what is left of Occupy Raleigh) was November 13, 2011. This discussion led me to conclude that although the level of education may be high in some cases, the level of knowledge and the thirst to acquire knowledge is very low when it pertains to the political and economic process. Although the movement is supposedly a fight against greed on Wall Street and Big Banks, they censured a member on their website for 24 hours for posting an article from this site outlining a plan to issue fiat securities on their site.

I agree with the occupation on several points but there are two glaring issues for me that I cannot overcome. First is the attention that the media and politicians are giving this movement. Nebulous goals and tired buzzwords do not generate change: they generate anarchy. Why are the occupiers receiving support for undefined goals? The second issue is money. If you follow the money, it appears that their funding is coming from the same institutions and elite that they are supposedly fighting against.

Top down, bottom up, inside out as Van Jones outlined will destroy this country’s Constitutional Republic with the help of these useful idiots. There is one consequence that is being overlooked: the backlash by real Americans when the dust settles. We paid the price for freedom and independence once before and we will pay it again. Period.

Invitation to Contribute – Town of Garner Council Meeting

We have been invited by Councilman Kennedy to share our opinions regarding the changes to firearms regulation “necessitated” by the passing of HB-650:

Public Notices

Public Notice Regarding Firearms
11/10/2011

The Garner Town Council has called a public hearing at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the Town Council Meeting Room located in Building B at Town Hall. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments and input about amendments to Garner’s Town Code regarding §18-1. Discharge of firearms; seizure of firearms; applicability of section and §18-2. Weapons prohibited on town property. These changes are necessary as the result of the Governor signing 2011 House Bill 650 (the “Castle Doctrine”) and the need to modify the language in our ordinances to comply with state law. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and will have an opportunity to present oral or written comments. Handicapped persons needing assistance or aids should contact the Clerk’s office at 773-4406 or jbass@garnernc.gov prior to the meeting

Observation of, and participation in, these proceedings are important to ensure that local town councils do not act to limit the liberties recently recovered by the passage of HB-650.

The text below is a copy of recent correspondence with Councilman Kennedy.  Because it is an e-mail chain, it is in reverse chronological order (initial item at bottom)

We Have Entered a Complete USD Liquidity Lock Up

The following article from Zerohedge.com outlines a complete US dollar liquidity lock up. If this is true as outlined below, the federal government will not be able to institute another bank bailout based on the incredible magnitude of funds needed to avert this freeze. Where is Ben Bernanke when the economy is collapsing?

Global Dollar Liquidity Freeze Leads To Pervasive Sell Off

Just two charts confirming that we have entered a complete USD liquidity lock up, and that the global coordinated USD swap line rescue operation will be launched any minute: both the US FRA-OIS and the EUR Basis Swap are at multi year extremes. The entire dollar funding market is now at levels not seen since the Lehman collapse and is effectively frozen. Continue reading

This Is the Economic Trigger

The “serious risk” outlined by Fitch Ratings concerning the exposure of U.S. banks to Europe’s contagion is much worse than what is being reported below. There is no “IF” but only a matter of time “WHEN” our banks will fail due to their ties to the European derivative market collapse. The exposure to our banks is in the trillions of dollars.

The amount of money involved is staggering and the bankrupt FDIC will not be able to cover even a fraction of the losses. Congress needs to address this issue now and draft legislation that will insulate the FDIC (and the people) from this catastrophe. Does anyone believe that Congress will address this issue?

EU Contagion Spreading to American Banks

The stock market lost190.57 points today after a report from Fitch Ratings stated what most financial experts already knew: the contagion spreading through the European Union which will collapse their continental economy will also collapse our American banks.

As detailed in an earlier report, our banks have exposure to European Credit derivatives in the hundreds of trillions of dollars. Although this exposure is well known, the federal reserve, treasury department and Congress seem to be oblivious to this situation. It is possible that our leaders have become resigned to the eventuality that they are unable to address the impending collapse of our entire financial system. If this is true, they have become the ultimate looters as in outlined in Atlas Shrugged. Since Congress will not be able to profit from insider trading once new legislation is passed, it appears that they will walk away with their fortunes and wash their hands of sworn duty to serve the country.

Redistribution Takes Many Forms

In the past, you could at least accrue interest on your savings. If the annual interest accrued on your savings was 5%, you still would be losing money since you pay taxes on the interest. The current interest on a money market account is 0.1% (or less). Vanguard is currently paying 0.03% on their money market accounts.

“Inflation has now been institutionalized at a fairly constant 5% per year. This has been determined to be the optimum level for generating the most revenue without causing public alarm. A 5% devaluation applies, not only to the money earned this year, but to all that is left over from previous years. At the end of the first year, a dollar is worth 95 cents. At the end of the second year, the 95 cents is reduced again by 5%, leaving its worth at 90 cents, and so on. By the time a person has worked 20 years, the government will have confiscated 64% of every dollar he saved over those years. By the time he has worked 45 years, the hidden tax will be 90%. The government will take virtually everything a person saves over a lifetime.”

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. to Issue Fiat Securities

Not to be outdone by the Federal Reserve, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. will issue commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) backed by defaulted loans. Fiat securities may be the only method that J. P. Morgan can use to postpone the inevitable bankruptcy coming from their exposure to the EU derivative collapse.

JP Morgan To Revive RTC-Style Commercial Mortgage Securities

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM) next year plans to issue the first U.S. commercial mortgage-backed securities supported by defaulted loans since the 1990s as it revives a practice that regulators used to extricate the nation from the savings-and-loan crisis.

Renee Ellmers and Sharia Law

Frank Livingston has been one of the country’s premier advocates against the threat of Sharia Law being implemented in the United States. His dedication to ACT! for America in North Carolina has been unwavering. I received the following letter today from Frank outlining the reasons for submitting his resignation to ACT! for America to their National Field Director, Kelly Cook.

RE: Regarding Correspondence with Congresswoman Ellmers Office
ACT! for America
Kelly Cook:

The questions, “Who is our enemy” and “Who are we fighting” are questions ACT! for America – Raleigh Chapter has been asking Sen. Burr, Sen. Hagan, and former congressman Rep. Etheridge for two years and we now are asking Rep. Renee Ellmers however, we cannot get a decent response to these questions. Why? We did get two responses, if that is what you would call them, ATTACHMENT #2 and #4. Read the letter, ATTACHMENT #3, we sent to Rep. Ellmers on August 10, 2011 which is being avoided by Rep. Ellmers. Why?  Continue reading
