Army Sees Sharp Decline in White Recruits

The Army‘s recruiting of white soldiers has dropped significantly in the last half decade, according to internal data reviewed by Military.com, a decline that accounts for much of the service’s historic recruitment slump that has become the subject of increasing concern for Army leadership and Capitol Hill.

The shift in demographics for incoming recruits would be irrelevant to war planners, except it coincides with an overall shortfall of about 10,000 recruits for the Army in 2023 as the service missed its target of 65,000 new soldiers. That deficit is straining the force as it has ramped up its presence in the Pacific and Europe: A smaller Army is taking on a larger mission and training workload than during the peak of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — leading to soldiers being away from home now more than ever.

Almost A Quarter Of All Jobs ‘Added’ In 2023 Didn’t Actually Exist

The original number of jobs reported by the federal government in 2023 was revised down by a total of 749,000 jobs, meaning nearly one-fourth of jobs thought to be created in the year were not actually there, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) analyzed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The sum of the initial estimate from each of the government’s monthly job growth reports in 2023 totaled 3,140,000 new jobs, with later reports revising down the number of jobs added by a collective 443,000, according to the BLS. The BLS also announced in August a revision in total employment for March, subtracting another 306,000 jobs.

“By the time you include all the monthly revisions and the annual benchmark revision, about one-quarter of all the jobs we thought were added last year have been revised away,” E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, told the DCNF. “That pattern of consistent downward revisions has happened in two prior recessions. It is a result of market conditions changing too rapidly for the BLS to adjust their methodology, which in turn causes consistent errors in measuring nonfarm payrolls.”

NY AG Letitia James and 14 Democrat State Attorneys General Sign Letter Asking Biden Regime to Ban “Military-Grade” Ammunition for Citizens

Fifteen radical left State Attorneys General from across the nation sent a letter on Tuesday, asking the Biden Regime’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention to ban private citizens from purchasing 5.56-millimeter rounds manufactured at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.

Instead, they want these rounds to be reserved only for the military. They must have forgotten the Founding Fathers’ intent with the Second Amendment.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is currently suing the NRA, ran for office on taking on the NRA and slammed the group as a “terrorist organization,” is leading this effort. Back in March 2022, a Manhattan judge blocked Letitia James’ failed attempt to shut down the National Rifle Association (NRA).

The Failed and Artificial Nation

I have ancestors who fought as Patriots in the Revolution and in Confederate service in the War of Northern Aggression. They were fighting to build a nation; to create and defend a Constitutional Republic. It became obvious to me some years ago that while they did their part, others have since allowed the ‘experiment’ to fail. Perhaps I should say ‘others’ infiltrated and re-directed the experiment.

We no longer live in a Constitutional Republic. We don’t even live in a real nation. A nation has a common culture, race and specific and defended borders. To any of you still thinking you can ‘restore’ the nation, I’d ask this simple question. What nation? Best to prepare for what comes next, which would include finding a part of the country where you will be in the significant majority as to race and culture. This so called United States of America is destined for the dust bin of history, but do not grieve for her. She needs to die. She is an unnatural abomination. We can do better.

The Transition, by Robert Gore

Many institutions have no convincing justification for their own existence.

Western civilization is characterized by its institutions. Its foundations have been government, organized religion, the military, science, technology, business, academia, media, art, and entertainment. Institutions have been bulwarks of order and have enabled Western civilization to reach unprecedented plateaus of achievement and prosperity. Now, they’re under assault and crumbling, which has been often noted and decried but usually not analyzed or understood as the outcome of an epochal transition.

Institutions have been the victim of their own success. The Industrial and Information Revolutions have put goods, services, wealth, data, and choices in billions of hands in what amounts to an historical blink of an eye, less than two centuries. The average American lives better and longer than royalty did back in monarchy’s heyday and has more personal power. Kings and emperors of yore could order people around and toss them in dungeons, but they couldn’t hop on the Internet and communicate with someone on the other side of the planet or hop on a freeway and journey five hundred miles in a day.

Institutions’ loss has been individuals’ gain, and many of the latter are questioning the necessity of the former. Institutions are staring into an abyss. Many, including governments, do not have convincing justifications for their own existence. They offer little to average people and in many cases they’re a net negative, imposing nothing but burdens. Their leaders are solely devoted to furthering their own prerogatives and power. Now, institutions are fighting a rearguard action to halt or slow a transition that at best will dramatically reduce their power and could mean their extinction.
