Lone Star State Considering Own Currency – And It’s Not Just Texans Who Could Use It

Texas could create a digital currency backed by gold and silver if a proposal in the state’s Senate moves forward.

The law would allow the state to mint pure gold or silver coins based on weight and issue debit cards that have their value backed up by gold or silver, according to the Epoch Times.

The proposal would allow anyone in the world — not just Texans — to purchase gold or silver to start an account and use that for any legal purpose. The gold and silver would be held at the Texas Bullion Depository. As the value of that gold or silver rises, so does the spending power of the account holder.

The Epoch Times said the proposal is partly aimed at avoiding a federal digital dollar — a concept under consideration by the Biden administration.

States are allowed to make gold and silver coins.

Founding Principles of the United States

As the American Colonists were preparing to separate from Britain, the soon to be independent States were working out the details of their own constitutions.  King George III had refused to honor their long-cherished rights and as a result, most Americans came to believe that separation was eminent.

Having studied written charters of the past, primarily in English history, the hope was to embrace proven governing practices based on fundamental principles of human happiness, and experiment with new innovations that would best protect the rights of the people. The result would ultimately be a constitution written by representatives of the people and ratified by the people. Such a novel idea was only to be outdone by taking established principles and embedding them into a bill of rights in the form of policy.  Americans were on the path to answering history’s unanswered question: Who has the right to declare the law?

The Virginia Convention took the lead in this new experiment. Their goal was to determine the powers and branches of their state government, check that power with restraints ensuring that it emanated from the will of the people, and put it in writing, thus giving it stability and permanence.

Before this could effectively be accomplished, a list of principles and a declaration of rights was needed as a foundation for their new government. George Mason came forth with a list of principles. Mason was a humble man, a “reluctant statesman.”  While some sought to use this crisis as an opportunity for self-glorification, Mason won the day in the wisdom of humility. Edmund Randolph noted his contribution:

“Many projects of a bill of rights and Constitution discovered the ardor for political notice, rather than a ripeness in political wisdom. That proposed by George Mason swallowed up all the rest by fixing the grounds and plan which after great discussion and correction were finally ratified.”

On June 12, 1776, the Virginia Declaration of Rights was approved by the Virginia Constitutional Convention, and it became the preamble to the Virginia Constitution.

Many of the other states used Virginia’s Constitution as a prototype when drafting their own. Each proclaimed as it were with one voice their shared beliefs about the role of government, the need for restraints, and the securing of natural rights. For instance, they guaranteed freedom of speech, the press, and religious worship. Individual liberty was the fundamental law. “A freeman’s remedy against a restraint of his liberty ought not to be denied or delayed,” declared the North Carolina Constitution. They recognized other freedom principles too:

  • representative government,
  • trial by jury,
  • the protection against unreasonable searches of people and papers,
  • the forbidding of cruel and unusual punishment,
  • and more.

NC enacts tighter abortion restrictions after GOP-controlled legislature overrides veto of controversial bill

North Carolina enacted the most extensive reduction in abortion access in decades following a veto override Tuesday in the state’s Republican-controlled General Assembly.

The state House of Representatives voted 72-48 to nullify the veto by Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper. The vote, which came hours after the Senate’s 30-20 party-line override tally, capped an extraordinary legislative whirlwind.

The measure reduces the cutoff for many abortions from 20 weeks to 12 and adds restrictions to women seeking abortions and clinics seeking to provide them.

EXCLUSIVE J6 FOOTAGE | Defense Attorney Exposes THE EXACT MOMENT the Government Waged Attack: ‘I’ll Tell You Exactly Where Sh*t Went Crazy’ – With VIDEO PROOF – MUST SEE!

“This is crucial —  this is crucial — because this is where what everybody is saying” about J6 being a set-up and a fedsurrection “actually matters. But nobody is pinpointing the precise time,” he said. “Everyone is saying, ‘There’s FBI agents in the crowd,’ ‘There’s CHSs in the crowd.’ There’s blah blah blah — I’ll tell you exactly where shit went crazy.

“It went crazy at that precise time when the protesters all standing in the west side terrace and then shots start going off and people are getting hit in the faces… There were a couple of agitators in the crowd don’t get me wrong, but what took it to a whole different level is people being shot in the face with rubber bullets.

“That’s where people who were angry got even angrier and rightfully so.”

Metcalf, who represents several J6 defendants including Dominic Pezzola, the only Proud Boy acquitted of seditious conspiracy charges, has scoured through the hours of footage lawmakers refuse to show the public.

After protesters knocked over a bike rack blockading the building, the moment the government characterizes as ‘the first breach.’ police were positioned in a “riot line.”

Riot line protocol instructs officers to remove agitators from the crowd.

Instead of removing the agitators, police on the riot line were strategically positioned “on the terrace above” to shoot protesters, Metcalf explained.

“The first line [of police] is called the ‘skirmish line. The second line is called a ‘linebacker line.’ What they are supposed to do is when there are agitators in the crowd, specifically, get them out of there,” he said. “And they set themselves up from an elevated position – so they had people on the terrace above.

“They started off with one shooter and then they got a second shooter.”

Against all Enemies, Foreign, and Domestic…

Time to choose: get to fightin’ or get to dyin’.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. — Roman Statesman, Marcus Tullius Cicero

The title of this missive comes from the oath we take in the military, “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign, and domestic. And to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” It is an oath that true members of our military understand has no statute of limitations. For me it represents the idea that this Nation requires those who will forever be Guardians of the Republic, which was the title of the first book that I wrote. Several generations in my family have taken that oath and served in combat. And that is the same experience in many families across America.

Today we face not just enemies from without, such as our #1 geo-political foe, China, but we have enemies from within. That is why the quote attributed to Roman Statesman Cicero is relevant to what is happening in America.

Last week, Title 42 policy ended. It was something that the Biden administration desired, along with ending the “Remain in Mexico” policy. It cannot be debated–this current administration is enacting treasonous actions to undermine the sovereignty of our Constitutional Republic, and is in violation of our Constitution. The fact that members of this administration would lie under oath, such as Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorgas, telling us the border is secure is unconscionable. And to have the official mouthpiece of the administration, Karine Jean-Pierre, asserting that there has been a 90% decrease in illegal immigration is pure lying, deception. And even her correction stating that Joe Biden is offering, by way of an App, pardons to individuals to illegally enter America is unconstitutional, as he does not have that enumerated power. Furthermore, her explanation that there has been a 90% decrease in Cubans and Venezuelans belies the real evil of this policy. Cubans and Venezuelans are seeking to escape hard line socialist regimes. The American progressive socialists know that these demographic groups will not embrace the very same here…in other words they will not be dependable leftist voters.
