While We Were Distracted…
BREAKING: North Carolina has officially passed the COS Resolution through the NC House with a final vote of 61-55.
This monumental victory comes after countless town halls, legislative meetings, and tireless efforts by our grassroots network in the state.
Thanks to their work—along with valuable leadership by Sen. Rick Santorum, Mark Meckler, and Michael Farris—our Resolution boasts an incredible 4 primary sponsors and 42 co-sponsors!
Next, we move to the NC Senate for consideration.
But the race to become state #20 is heating up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
North Carolina’s House sold out the people by passing the Con Con. We have to stop this legislation from passing the NC Senate. Please write your NC Senators and tell them to vote no on this measure.
Biden on SVB failure: ‘Investors in the bank will not be protected’
I confess that I could not watch the entire speech even though it was short. As Biden spoke, small bank stocks went lower and some had their trading halted on the stock market. While this is the major story today, the end result will be determined by people. If we take our money out of the banking system, we lose 0.01% interest (in most cases) but we still have fiat currency in hand. A poor return considering inflation.
If bank runs do materialize, the illegal government will start WWIII earlier than they want. If I had any money in the bank, I would take it out. You can be sure that the people orchestrating this economic collapse will not lose their financial assets.
So we are really down to which banks have the most bank run risk, which as we explained, are primarily America’s small, regional banks.
How are they holding up today? Well, not good: here is the KRE index…
Regulators close New York’s Signature Bank, citing systemic risk
U.S. regulators said Sunday it shut down New York-based Signature Bank, a second financial institution they shuttered after Silicon Valley Bank’s collapse.
“We are also announcing a similar systemic risk exception for Signature Bank, New York, New York, which was closed today by its state chartering authority,” Treasury, Federal Reserve, and FDIC said in a joined statement Sunday evening.
