Authorities are encouraging parents to double-check their children’s Halloween candy following a massive fentanyl bust at Los Angeles International Airport.

Authorities on Wednesday seized approximately 12,000 suspected fentanyl pills that were found disguised in several popular Halloween candy brands at the California airport. Authorities found the dangerous opioid inside boxes of Sweetarts, Skittles and Whoppers, officials said.

In a press release, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that narcotic detectives and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) responded to a TSA screening area around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday after an individual attempted to go through airport security with bags of candy.

This one hit me hard last night.

TPTB are going after our children. They aim to erase our legacy. I’m not sure why all this evil has chosen to rise so rapidly, but it is ever increasing on a daily basis.

People are reluctant to stand against tyranny alone. But they will stand behind the shields of many others. We have to find a way to unite and stand together, instead of having a thousand lone voices crying out into the wind.

I have put myself out there for a long time now. I’ve risked much. I haven’t been able to affect change. I’ve done all the things people said you need to do to change the system from within. It’s corrupt beyond all imagination right down to the local level. All peaceful means have been exhausted. This government needs to be burnt to the ground. We need to start anew.

TPTB coming after the children is all by design. They know that will get the people to stand. They know that people will fight for their children. Perhaps that is what is needed. Force. Forced to make a decision. Forced to make a stand. Forced to say enough is enough. Forced to raise that black flag and begin slitting throats.

We are running out of options. I for one, do not want to continue to wait for them to come and get me in the dead of night.

In the U.K., babies who die after living for DAYS are now being recorded as “stillbirths”.

US tax receipts have surged this year. Through August, the US Treasury had collected over $4.4 trillion in revenue for fiscal 2022 with one month left to go. That was already 10% higher than receipts in 2021. The US government took in $303.73 billion in August alone. That was up 23% from August 2021.

According to a Tax Foundation analysis of Congressional Budget Office data, federal tax collections were up 21% in the 2022 fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30.

The US government isn’t just making a windfall in absolute terms. Tax collection is at a multi-decade high of 19.6% as a share of GDP. That is up from 17.9% in fiscal 2021 and is approaching the last peak of 20% set during the dot-com bubble in FY 2000.

Besides the dot-com bubble, federal tax receipts have only represented a higher share of GDP in two other years, both during World War II. In 1943, federal tax collections reached 20.5% of GDP before falling to 19.9% in 1944.

Compared to average federal tax collections in the post-war era of 17.2% of GDP, 2022 collections are set to exceed that level by 2.4 percentage points.
