Perhaps the reason for our current plague of cognitive dissonance lies in all the “multiverse” movies and TV shows we’ve been watching. Ultimately it won’t matter. In this reality, where the speed of light in a vacuum is a generous 299,792,458 meters per second and Planck’s Constant is a steady 6.62607×10-34 Joule-seconds, the facts are not merely stubborn (John Adams) but lethally inescapable (Sir Harold Bowden). We will face them and act on their implications, or we will be destroyed by our own willfulness.
And one of the facts that will destroy us is this one:
We Can’t All Just “Get Along.”
Not if we’re too close to one another, at any rate.
Cognitive dissonance: The mental stress (discomfort) experienced by a person who simultaneously holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values; when performing an action that contradicts one of those beliefs, ideas, or values; or when confronted with new information that contradicts one of the beliefs, ideas, and values. (Infogalactic)
Many Americans suffer from cognitive dissonance on certain subjects. They strain to harmonize their adherence to some prescriptive axiom (“We can all get along if only we try harder”) with the indisputable facts (the race warfare that’s been going on for some six decades). I once suffered from it myself. Then I resolved to hew strictly to the facts, as I personally witnessed them and as they’re reported by persons and institutions I know to be reliable.
That decision has cost me several friends. I refused to say or imply convictions I don’t hold in order to retain them. For commentators more prominent than I, the consequences have gone further than some social losses. It takes quite a lot of courage for someone whose livelihood depends upon retaining a publisher (or publishers) to stand to his tack under such pressures.
But there are organizations determined to maintain the fiction against the pressure of the dissonance. There’s money and power in it. And they press their agenda in every imaginable format.***
Let’s start with this piece from a colleague:
The Abbott Nutrition plant in Sturgis has halted the production of its EleCare specialty baby formula. This time it’s because of severe weather that caused flooding in the area on Monday.
Some parts of the plant were flooded after a significant amount of rainfall during the storms, the company said.
The plant has stopped production of its EleCare specialty formula until damage is assessed and the facility can be sanitized.

The battlefield is still warm, following Canada’s war on the unvaccinated. The mandates have let up, and both sides stumble back into something that looks like the old normal — except that there is a fresh and present injury done to the people we tried to break. And no one wants to talk about it.
Only weeks ago, it was the admitted goal of our own leaders to make life unlivable for the unvaccinated. And as a deputized collective, we force-multiplied that pain, taking the fight into our families, friendships, and workplaces. Today, we face the hard truth that none of it was justified — and, in doing that, uncover a precious lesson.
It was a quick slide from righteousness to cruelty, and however much we might blame our leaders for the push, we’re accountable for stepping into the trap despite better judgment.
We knew that waning immunity put vast numbers of the fully vaccinated on par with the shrinking minority of unvaccinated, yet we marked them for special persecution. We said they hadn’t “done the right thing” by turning their bodies over to state care — even though we knew that principled opposition to such a thing is priceless in any circumstance. And we truly let ourselves believe that going into another ineffectual lockdown would be their fault, not the fault of toxic policy.
And so it was by the willful ignorance of science, civics, and politics that we squeezed the unvaccinated to the degree that we did.
We invented a new rubric for the good citizen and — failing to be one ourselves — took pleasure in scapegoating anyone who didn’t measure up. After months of engineered lockdowns, having someone to blame and to burn simply felt good.
So we have Democrats saying that if they don’t get their way Civil War will happen. Interesting. How do we help these Democrats bring this about? It is desperately what is needed, although I don’t think it’s going to go like they imagine. It’s why they are so desperate to disarm us.
I have a message to ALL those who are shouting for gun control and the silencing of free speech. If you have to violate our rights to accomplish your wet dream of a socialist utopia, you are a criminal and a tyrant and should be treated accordingly.
Let me be clear, we do not have Constitutional Rights; we have INHERENT Rights. The Bill of Rights and the Constitution do not “give” us Rights, they merely codified what previously existed. Our Rights actually predate the Constitution! They are called Natural Rights because they belong to us as a matter of the Laws of Nature, God’s laws!
My Right to defend myself is derived from the “duty of self-preservation” NOT from the government. If you have to ask permission from the government to exist and to protect your existence then you are either dead or a slave. We desperately need to protect ourselves from these evil people who have stolen our Republic from us.
Samuel Adams wrote: “Among the natural rights of the Colonists are these: First, a right to life; Secondly, to liberty; Thirdly, to property; together with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can. These are evident branches of, rather than deductions from, the duty of self-preservation, commonly called the first law of nature.”
Benjamin Franklin wrote as Silence Dogood in 1722:
“Without Freedom of Thought, there can be no such Thing as Wisdom; and no such Thing as publick Liberty, without Freedom of Speech; which is the Right of every Man, as far as by it, he does not hurt or controul the Right of another: And this is the only Check it ought to suffer, and the only Bounds it ought to know.
This sacred Privilege is so essential to free Governments, that the Security of Property, and the Freedom of Speech always go together; and in those wretched Countries where a Man cannot call his Tongue his own, he can scarce call any Thing else his own. Whoever would overthrow the Liberty of a Nation, must begin by subduing the Freeness of Speech; a Thing terrible to Publick Traytors.”
Our RIGHTS to freedom of thought and expression not only predates the Constitution but are ESSENTIAL to the preservation of all Liberty. If we have to seek permission from government regarding what we say or believe, then we are nothing more than slaves.
Are we slaves? It seems that way many days, and we are just waiting for someone to come and liberate us. There is no great liberator coming! We are going to have to restore Liberty ourselves.
If you think more laws will stop evil deeds then you are a slave. If you want to violate my rights for your power then you are a tyrant. “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.”- Patrick Henry.
They have shown themselves. We know who they are. We know what they are. The war is on. The shooting just hasn’t started yet. The aim to disarm us. They aim to silence us. They aim to enslave us or eradicate us. It’s time we act accordingly.

This is important, folks. Things are getting rough, and are going to get rougher exponentially. If you don’t have water, you are a) a refugee, then b) a statistic. No matter where you are, it is critical you have the ability to store and purify water EVERY SINGLE DAY. Get buckets, ceramic filters, storage tanks, etc. Collect rainwater. Have a hand pump for your well (see the video above). Whatever you need to do, or have a place you can go so you can have water.
Two days. That’s the difference between freedom and dying.
The 3000 figure has been increased but the question of how they died is in question. What is not in question is our food supply is in serious jeopardy from facility fires, drought, fertilizer costs and the cost of diesel.
Or from Jim Stone:
UPDATE: THE ANSWER IS IN: SOMEONE SNUCK ONTO THE RANCH AND POISONED THE WATER THE CATTLE DRANK. THIS IS A DIRECT ATTACK ON AMERICA’S FOOD SUPPLY. OVER 10,000 HEAD OF CATTLE KILLED. Now who, what group, has a history of poisoning it’s opposition? Don’t pretend to guess.
Option number 2 from Jim Stone seems to make more sense.
